Lynn was awesome. Food was amazing. Always 150% satisfied.
Had reservations late Saturday evening. First time at this restaurant. It was still very busy so I would recommend reservations. They do have a nice outdoor seating area. Our server was pleasant and attentive and did not rush us. For appetizers we order the fried calamari which was delicious including the dipping sauce. For dinner, we ordered the Risotto Carne, gnocchi and carbonara. All were fantastic. They also had a good wine list and dessert menu.
We loved Carpaccios. We had a great time sitting outside on a beautiful Annapolis night. The food was delicious and entrees are very large. Everything we had was delicious. I would suggest reservations because it gets extremely crowded.
Instead of bread, they bring the most wonderful homemade pizza slices. The drinks were great, the food was great. We didn't feel rushed, nice ambiance. On a side note, take a photo the soft lighting is Amazing, you will look years younger!
Once again Carpaccio's has delivered an excellent meal to all eight of us! Some of us chose an appetizer (fried calamari), which others chose one of the specials (a rockfish dish). No matter what was ordered is was fabulous. I will be back as soon as I can get there!
Carpaccio's never disappoints. The food is fresh and well-seasoned and the pizza bread they serve before your waiter/waitress arrives is addictive - and I mean it. The staff is quite good and the bartenders terrific but Nikola is the absolute best!
The waitress was inattentive
Left us waiting for coffee and desert
When I made the reservation I specifically stated verbally as well as with open table it was my friends birthday
There was no acknowledgement and she brought the wrong ice cream
My favorite restaurant in town
Delicious veal ! Like their version of clams casino! Server was friendly helpful professional
It is the first time that I'm writing a negative review but this place deserves it. The ambient is very dark you can barely read the menu, the service is approximate and absolutely without any interest to care about customer need. We asked if they had two size of pizza and they told us yes and they brought us a slice of a pizza precooked that was not even warm and they charge 4.99$ per slice, they charged 4$ for open table reservation, the cannoli were done with Philadelphia and not ricotta, the ice cream taste was awful. Unfortunately I'm Italian and this place deserve everything but not to be defined neither upscale nor Italian.
Carpaccio is a treasure in Annapolis. Amazing management, staff and food. Italian home away from home.
Went for Easter Brunch which I thought was rather expensive for what was offered. Most brunch places offer complimentary mimosas at less cost but this $38 per person brunch did not . I realized later that I could have ordered off the menu but was not given that option to start with.
I love Carpaccio, it is one of my favorite restaurants in Annapolis. The owner/operator is from Italy and you can tell by the food. Everything I have ever ordered is delicious! The service is always outstanding and the restaurant is clean and inviting.
Our reservation was there and they seated us right away. Lady came to fill our water glasses and then it was almost 20 minutes before anyone came to our table and that was only because we spoke up. If they had not had a brunch buffet, which was execellent, we would not have stayed and eaten. When I received the check I was a little surprised that it was as much as it was. I paid the check directly to the manager and advised him of how we had been treated. He apologized but nothing more. I will not be going back regardless of how good the food was!
Great service from And good drinks. Food was satisfactory. Halibut did not have flavor. Risotto too thick. The pasta, veal and pizza were very god.
As soon as i got there I was seated. No more than five minutes went by and our waiter came to our table. She gave us the run down on the daily specials and was prompt with our beverages. The food cane hot and EXCELLENT!
The food was okay. A little too saucy for me, which left the gnocchi I ordered extremely overpowered.
Superb experience... stopped from South CArolina and will make this our place to go in Annapolis.
We've dined at Carpaccio many times. This night, the pizza bread was burnt black on the bottom and we asked for replacement slices. The replacements were excellent, but the burnt slices should never have left the kitchen. We ordered the oysters Rockefeller and they were excellent, but there were no small forks available with which to eat them. That's not good--were they all in the dishwasher? Our main courses came out before we were finished with the oysters. HATE that.
Food is for the most part consistently good here. There needs to be more attention to detail and more observance and care in the kitchen.
I have gone to Carpaccio's on a week night and it was nice for conversation. This is the first time I've gone on a weekend / Saturday night and it was very loud. I strained to hear the table conversation.
First time there and enjoyed it!
The food and service was exceptional.
Service was superb, we had created a time crunch for our dinner, but the staff was fantastic, so helpful and responsive.. so we got to enjoy a fabulous dinner. Can’t wait to return.
The spinach salad was delicious plus we added steak to it and even more delicious.
The mushroom risotto was a bit too heavy on the garlic but glad I tried it.
Impressed that they acknowledged his birthday even though it was on my online reservation.
Great food and romantic ambiance. One of my favorite date night spots!
Wonderful food, and the waitstaff were very attentive. We were five different groups and they sat close together which was helpful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Nice and relaxed environment. I will definitely come back. I live in Potomac and it was worth the drive. Close in proximity to Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts venue.
The foccacia- pizza with zingy tomato sauce and baby eggplant starters were very tasty. Our
entres - parpadelle bolognese and polenta with scallops/prawns were outstanding. Bolognese was rich, the scallops perfectly done.
Loved it! I had the carbonara, which could be the best I've ever had, with crispy bacon and a perfectly poached egg on top, delicious creamy sauce with (I think) a touch of sherry. And this is saying something as I've lived in Italy twice! And the strips of pizza offered immediately were delicious.
I was there with a friend I hadn't seen in a while, so we wanted to wait a while before ordering -- absolutely no problem with that and the server didn't annoy us constantly.
This is my third visit to Carpaccio. I live in Baltimore and find your restaurant well worth the drive.
I am a frequent dinner at Carpaccio's Tuscan Kitchen, however I usually sit at the bar with a friend and enjoy a drink, pizza and split one of the risotto entrees with a friend. With that being said, I expected that the dining experience would be even better if I made reservations for a special occassion.
We were promptly seated by the hostess.
We were asked if we preferred a booth vs table (by the hostess)
Our waitress was in training and you could tell that she was really trying
We were not offered new utensils after our starters
Panzanella-was in great need of salt (could not add my own because they don't keep salt on the tables)
Risotto Ai Funghi Porcini-was luke warm (this is my favorite dish)
Risotto Con Carne- no asparagus tips to be found and taste was off. (this was brought to the servers attention, needless to say we still ended up paying for the entree)
We decided against ordering their coffee and dessert and went to Fox Den instead. I'm not sure I will back.
Awesome food, service and experience !
Outstanding! The service was impeccable as my companion and I talked and talked and talked! There was no pressure to eat and get out. The food was spectacular as well!
We really enjoyed our meal. The place was packed due to NHL game at Naval Academy. Service was professional and we were seated within 5 minutes of reservation. We both ordered different items from the restaurant week specials. My Italian wedding soup was tasty but not nearly hot enough. The salmon was incredibly hot (temperature) and was delicious. My husband said his linguine with seafood was perfectly spiced and he was pleased his porcelain espresso cup was hot. We would have preferred an herb focaccia to the pizza like bread that came. Despite the crowd we were able to make our concert with time to spare. We haven’t been here in years and we will return sooner.
Excellent Italian food starting with delicious complementary pizza bread and moving to great pasta and desserts.
Place was empty and they sat someone right next to us.
Had to ask for steak sauce at least 3 times. Had to ask for wine 2 times. Asked for a candle for cake because we had a birthday. Didn't happen. Usually service is very good. Staff didn't seem to know what Worcestershire sauce so never brought it. Was kind of disappointed with service as this was a birthday dinner.
I love Carpaccios. Best restaurant in Annapolis except for Coopers Hawk. The only disappointment this time was that we stood at the front desk for 3+ minutes as no one was there and no one acknowledged our existence. Finally the bartender sat us.
Went out for date night with my wife and the server was outstanding. Food was great. Atmosphere was lively and so much fun.
My party of three ordered two appetizers and three entrees. All five dishes were bland and overpriced.
We enjoyed our dinner here with family-service was very good and the food was plentiful.
