Carpaccio Restaurant & Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
The food and atmosphere of this restaurant are too notch. The restaurant is comfortable, but an open concept which increases the noise level. The food is quite delicious. We had calamari - best I’ve ever had - and two pasta dishes (lamb risotto and chicken parmigiana). Great food and served quickly.
We’ll be back!
It was recommended by someone working in town. The drive from the Falls was just 7 minutes.
The place was clean but the food was not what we expected. Not bad either. Just OK.
The waitress was not very attentive but at the end we found out that she was really nice. Maybe tired or overworked. The food was slow to arrive
great food and great service. the wait staff was swamped but still served everyone quickly and with a smile even when what I assume to be manager was loudly barking abrupt orders in an unecesary tone. so many tasty sounding menu options it was hard to pick. went in a group of 4 and everyone loved their meals and apps as well as the birthday cheesecake we all split. we will definitely return
4thtime and not disappointed -- one of the nicest restaurants around. The servers are excellent. I am sorry I dont have the y oung lady's name from last night but very very good --- never wrote anything down and got it all right!! Also a night we were there I think a waiter named "Paul" (from St Catherines) was superb
We arrived for a late dinner on Friday night to celebrate our anniversary. We had to move our reservation a few times which was very easy to do through open table. From the minute we arrived, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The waiter knew their wine and food very well and offered great recommendations. The food arrived quickly and all was very tasty. Our waiter offered to cover a taxi back to our hotel downtown which was totally unexpected and appreciated. Would definitely recommend and come back next visit to Niagara.
I took my Mom for her 83rd birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel very special. The host was so friendly! He led us to a great table and from that point on our server took over and the evening continued with great service and a delicious meal. They even brought my Mom a special dessert, which she totally enjoyed. It was a great first experience.
Food was excellent ... service by Donna was extraordinary ... complementary taxi back to hotel was unexpected, but deeply appreciated ... the wine suggestion was superb ... we will recommend Carpaccio’s to all of our friends and family ... the atmosphere was lively, yet intimate ...
We took a road trip to Niagara Falls for our wedding anniversary. Prior to our trip I researched on line what restaurants received good reviews and Carpaccio had many excellent reviews. It was about an 8 minute drive from the Marriott on the Falls where we were staying and it was definitely worth the drive. It is located away from the touristy restaurants and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and my husband ordered Salmon, both meals were delicious! Very nice upscale modern decor.
This is my favourite restaurant to visit when in the Niagara region. It never disappoints. I ordered the Arancini as an appetizer and it was delicious. I had the pasta primavera and it was so tasty. The server knew it was my birthday and surprised me with a cake and ice cream. I also had the pleasure of having a lovely chat with Danny from Glasgow on the way out and he graciously ordered a cab for us and picked up the tab. Thank you Danny and Carpaccio's for a wonderful birthday outing. Ten out of ten and will definitely be back!!
Server was terrific but that is all that was great. Food was OK.
Two large parties met up, think both had been drinking. We couldn't hear each other at all. Servers came and apologized but someone should have asked them to step outside to chat. Went in for too long.
Made a friends get together less than expected.
We went to the restaurant to celebrate our friends birthday. We dined on Tuesday date night. Pre fixed dinner was $69 per couple. Includes a bottle of wine and a 4 course dinner. We ordered the Trout, The Chicken, The Lamb and a brick oven pizza to go. The food was delicious and well presented. Everyone finished their plates. The service from Angela was amazing. The ambiance was nice. Not too loud so we could actually have a conversation with one another.
Carpaccio's Restaurant is real authentic Italian cuisine without having to fly to Italy. This restaurant has better tasting and prepared meals than Little Italy in NYC! The pasta was outstanding! I loved the bruschetta appetizer along with the light and tender calamari with its hint of spicy homemade sauce. The butter and bread is also homemade too. In all it was an excellent dining experience. I just wish they were closer to home. If you are ever in the Niagara Falls area of Canada, skip the touristy traps and eat where the locals eat. This was truly and incredible find and a MUST DO on your vacation list of eateries, thank you.
We visited this restaurant with my daughter and her boyfriend when they were in Ontario for business. It was top notch as always. They both thought it was an excellent choice for dinner. They have travelled the world and dined at many fine restaurants and Carpaccio's was equal to or better than most of those. We enjoyed our dinner and they both said they would be back when they visit again.
