From of our family to yours, Carousel is the premier Los Angeles area restaurant providing guests with the complete culinary experience when it comes to enjoying traditional middle eastern and Lebanese cuisine. In the Middle Eastern culture, meza (Lebanese term for appetizer) consists of a vast array of small sized, hot and cold dishes, great for sampling and sharing. At Carousel, our menu offers a selection of kebabs to seafood to an array of vegetarian items. We offer more than 60 meza items, ranging from familiar dishes, such as hummus, falafel and tabouleh to more traditional delicacies. Everything that we serve comes from original family recipes passed down through generations. With the supervision of our Chef de Cuisine and co-owner, Mrs. Rose Tcholakian, each dish that is served is sure to bestow the quality and freshness Carousel is well known for. For those unfamiliar to Lebanese food, a helpful service staff will guide you through what is sure to be a habit-forming journey.

The experience was wonderful from start to finish. Hostess found us a lovely table and our waiter was outstanding. Food was excellent as always.

Very large menu which provides options for the adventurous as well as diners who prefer the more common middle Eastern fare. As non Armenians we have experienced excellent food and service on both occasions we have visited. We saved room for the Foret Glacé dessert which we consider special.

The food was lovely and interesting and unique. But the service was very inattentive. My daughter had to get up and find a server to help us twice and when we wanted to split the bill, they could not accomplish it!

The Carousel restaurant and ambiance are exceptional. A varied and authentic menu with so many delicious choices. Everything we ordered was incredible. The service was fast and friendly. There was a pleasant energy in the restaurant with many large groups and families enjoying their meals.

Drinks are very average - definitely better places to get drinks. Food is very good, and table service is very good. Had to wait a very long time to get seated (there was no one at the front), despite reservations and an empty restaurant. Otherwise, pretty good overall.

A great variety of delicious Middle Eastern delights presented beautifully with traditional pita bread, olives, and pickled turnips with every entree. We especially love the mantee, the basturma/cheese wraps, and the lamb chops. The wine list includes wines from Napa, Armenia, and Lebanon. The service is fast and courteous. The location is central to Glendale, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and theater, and is within walking distance from the Glendale Galleria and the Americana shopping malls. There is meter parking all around it, and it's easy to find. Because of its fantastic team of management and servers, and its exceptional food, it has survived for decades, and has made it past the pandemic shutdowns. It is definitely worth a try if you happen to be in Glendale!
