   We came an hour early as we were told for the DZ and Friends show that started at midnight but was late. We had to wait outside in the pouring rain. Once we finally were inside it was so full in the bar lobby and full of jerks shoving and pushing. They call the tables 1-10,10-20 etc we were 47 and showed back into the room. We also got a meet and greet online that came with a ticket. Then I was emailed that it was the wrong pricing and I had to pay additional money. The show was funny but the logistics were a nightmare a complete cluster.

   They did not have my reservation and I showed them my cell phone reservation. They were sold out and we went some where else for dinner they were obnoxious and they hate open table

   I made reservations for dining and the comedy show. We were seated in the show room for our meal. The menu is limited and not vegetarian friendly. Our waiter took our drink and food order then did not come back for over 1 1/2 hours. The comedy show was mediocre at best. The last comedian was dreadful and seemed intoxicated. He was so bad some of the audience walked out.

   The Open Table app is not well suited to Carolines because the restaurant is a comedy club that incidentally serves food and drinks, and we did not realize that the app would not reserve tickets for the show (our real objective). Carolines itself was very basic from a food and drink perspective but the show (we managed to talk our way into tickets on site) was great. We recommend not using Open Table if you want to go to see a show at Carolines but instead contacting the club directly.

   This place was a mess. The staff was unhelpful and the female manager was rude and bossy. I won't ever be attempting to eat food their again.

   This was a very interesting place. You enter the restaurant down a flight of stairs and into the seating area. We arrived early and the wait staff were walking around and talking way too loudly to each other. It was as if we were not in the restaurant at all! Our order was taken quickly and the food was delivered quickly and was quite delicious. Nothing special for a regular hamburger. After dinner, the show was announced and we had to line up to enter the show area. We were herded in and basically shoved into our seats and asked our drink order. The show began right away and our drinks didn't arrive until 20 minutes into the first act. The waitress didn't show as often as we would have liked. For an hour and half show, we only got three drinks and the check was brought before the show ended. Overall, it was nice. I was a bit disappointed in the service and the treatment.

   It was a fun night. My husband watches comics on TV and I thought this would be a nice surprise. He had a great time.

    This is a theatre and not a real restaurant. Yes, they serve food but the ambiance is horrible. We entered through a curtain and went down a long staircase into a nightclub. We were the only people there as we wanted a pre-theatre dinner close to the venue on Broadway. The wait staff was super-friendly so we decided not to bolt. The food was decent and for some in our party, quite good. No matter how good the food was, however, it couldn't overcome the depressing atmosphere. As we got closer to curtain time at our theatre people started arriving downstairs because they have their own show - it's a comedy club, after all.
