Elegant, live music that ended early, very fancy food, exotic, way overpriced wine ($150 for Erarh Pinot), way too bright inside, need to turn down lights, good service, but restaurant was mostly empty. $600 for two with minimal alcohol, over priced.

Muy buena cocina con una ejecución muy bien lograda. Buenas combinaciones de texturas y manejo de ingredientes. El restaurante muy clásico, sobrio. Te sientes en el comedor de un club de golf privado elegante y tradicional. Mantelería, platos y cuchillería de primera. Las copas para vino bastante simples y comunes, no creo que sean las adecuadas para un restaurante de ese nivel.

Amazing experience! My wife is pregnant so we did not go with the 10 or 4 course tasting menu with the wine pairings, but the food was fabulous. She had the catch of the day (mahi mahi) and I had the duck. The bread service was amazing and they brought out a dessert for our babymoon. I would 100% recommend this place!

The food, service and overall experience was so fantastic that we are there twice on our 6 day trip! The second time the restaurant was clearly understaffed and we waited an exceedingly long time for our food. It was still delicious but the wait soured our experience a bit.

Excellent 10 course tasting menu which hybridizes classics (such as foie gras with a local mole) and covers several regions of Mexico. Very dedicated and conscientious service — everybody was trying hard. As is often the case in region the wine list lacks vintages and is fairly overpriced, but there were some good selections. The wine list at Four Seasons was far deeper but the food here was better. This was a Sunday dinner, so I can’t fault the lack of a sommelier and reliable water service. Overall an excellent experience

I truly appreciated the chef’s accommodation to my dietary needs without compromising the art or the taste. Carolina has the food, the service, and the setting. What a great time celebrating my 20th year anniversary to only be beaten by another couple celebrating their 25th! Met another couple with twin birthday and ran into the newlyweds from the pool. Everyone was celebrating life at Carolina. ❤️

We had an incredible experience at Carolina. The staff was beyond amazing and attentive. They made us feel so special. If you are not dining here during your stay in Punta Mita, you aren’t choosing your dining options well enough. We are frequenters of fine dining and this place is among the elite of that list, anywhere in the world. The amenities, options, service, quality, EVERYTHING was first class! We are interested in owning in Punta Mita, and should we commit, this will be a staple in our dining lineup, and likely the headliner!

Carolina knocked it out of the park. I will make a point to make sure I go back each and every time I’m back in Punta Mita. I have been dreaming about the Dona Carolina (not sure if I’m getting that right) cocktail since the moment I left… phenomenal!
