Excellent menu, tough to choose. Everything we had was fresh and delicious.
Great food, great service beginning when you are seated by superb hostess, Jackie.
Highly recommend this restaurant. Very attentive staff and our waiter was fantastic. We were running late for a concert because of traffic. They recognized that and got us in and out within an hour and 15 minutes and we made the show on time.
Thank you Carnivale we will be back on a Friday night to see your fantastic show!
It was love yo.
Fun party atmosphere with fab high ceilings and colorful decor. Highly recommended for a dinner or celebration, especially with a group. Food was creative and well prepared from the memorable Black Cod to the Lamb. We ordered one dessert to share, which turned out to be a disappointment in flavor (nothing distinctive in any of the multiple components) but A+ fantastic in presentation (hint: Cigar). But I look forward to an evening there again and another try at their Latin-inspired menu.
Very limited lunch menu and service is only in the bar area. that being said the food available was interesting and tasty. Will definitely go back to try dinner. The dinning room looks fantastic, colorful and we understand the weekends party out.
This is one of the best restaurants in Chicago. The food here is absolutely delicious; I have yet to find something on the menu I do not like. If you have not been here yet, this is really one of the hidden gems of Chicago.
Great food and atmosphere! We had the seafood tackle box, guacamole, ropa vieja, cotton candy and chocolate dome. It was all delicious and the service was fantastic.
Great service. Great food. When I got to the restaurant everyone or the staff welcomed me. Liked the atmosphere that the restaurant had. Made a reservation and was quickly seated.the food was good and also service waitress was really attending all the needs and request. Would definitely go back.
Unfortunetly i dont remember our qaitress name but she was amazing. She tended to our needs with out hesitation. The food was amazing. Their octopus was so good!!!! I will definitely go again
The decor was amazing and our server was great. I was a bit disappointed with my food. I asked to well done skirt stake and my meat was not well done, not very tasty. Overall I had a great time. Loved the cotton candy!!
It was a last minute reservation but the service was great it was a very pleasent evening overall.
Bellisimo el lugar nos encantó, el servicio, la comida las bebidas todo muy bien, lo recomiendo, para pasar una noche fabulosa.
Words can hardly express my satisfaction but I'll say WOW!. Everything was fantastic. I come to Chicago 4 times a year and visit different restaurants each time, next visit I'll be back to Carnival.
The ambiance was incomparable, I love the bright colors and decorations throughout. The food was spectacular. We were not disappointed by anything we ordered. The drinks were delicious, definitely recommend the cotton candy martini.
Could not see the show, made reservations three weeks in advance. Along with that the staff at the front desk having slight attitude every time I go there.
Steak was a little to hard we had order two servings and the waiter only brought one we had to wait till we got our second order
Although the decor was festive, the food was disappointing for the price. The chimichurri sauce on the steak was flavorless. At least they brought me an alternative entree, but too late to actually eat. I was looking forward to the entertainment, as we were celebrating birthdays, but the electric guitarist pretty much ruined it for me. The vegas-style ‘dancer’ basically walked around holding ostrich feather fans. No skill involved whatsoever. The cotton candy in a glass full of terrible caramel corn again was festive but cheap. Our waiter was all over us for the first 15 min, then disappeared for the rest of the night, so we missed our train. For $90/person for dinner and a couple drinks, I expected more. Better music and entertainers would have gone a long way.
Food was great and the Cotton Candy Martini was awesome! Our waiter was very attentive and fast at bringing our food out. The whole atmosphere is stylish, colorful and entertaining. Can’t wait to go back soon! Thank you!
Live music was a bit too loud.
Upper level dining area near restrooms was very chilly, very uncomfortable.
