excellent quality and tasty food at a good price - not outrageous as you may expect for a hotel restaurant.

While the food was very good as was the service, the restaurant is part of a hotel - and it was near-empty. It's rare to find a hotel's restaurant that has a vibrant feel. This one did not.

Very good food. Plenty and tasty. Service: fine.
Big open kitchen with lots of action. The noise can be distracting though, and was a "downer" in an otherwise very pleasant evening.

We could not have picked a better place to celebrate a 77 Birthday and our 55th Anniversary. We were recognized for those and appreciate the acknowledgement. We would surely recognize our first night server (Rick, I believe) and Liz the 2nd night.
Thank you to the management for an upgrade that we requested because of these events. We have been a Marriott timeshare owner for 20 years.

This restaurant is unappreciated by locals. The food is very good, along with the service. We had a very creative cocktail in the bar before dinner.
Plus they give locals 20% discount!
Our only comment would be that the dining room is uninviting. It needs a re-model to make it warmer and perhaps more contemporary. Something's wrong with the seating and it feels ordinary.

Service was a bit iffy but that may have been exacerbated by a large party in the outside area. Once served, I will say the presentation of the dinner was beautiful. Good food nicely presented. We shared a veggie flatbread that was quite good. My wife had the lamb loin with grits. Nicely cooked medium rare. I had the halibut which was beautifully presented with green pea risotto.

The service was amazing. Server Juliana and the person who backed her up were great. The occasion was my mother's 79th birthday brunch. The experience truly met with our approval. We will be back it was well worth the drive from Suisun City.

Thank you for making my Mom's birthday special 🎂🍽🍷!

Overpriced food and wine list. Most dishes were not worth eating, However the halibut and the chicken were deleicious. The best thing about this place is the beautiful bar and kitchen and the service is outstanding.

So surprised at this hidden gem. Food was delicious and it was nice but comfortable at the same time. The lobster risotto and lamb chops were good.

Server very nice but food took forever to come out even though we were the ONLY ONES in the place.
The crab and shrimp salad had very little shredded crab.
Would not recommend.
Too many superior restaurants in area.

The polenta was amazing! The salmon was delicious and the wine we had was perfect. We also dined before the nightly rush (is there a rush?!) so the restaurant was practically empty which was so nice! Definitely would eat here again.

Bella our server was great! Food was very good too. Nice that it was dog friendly, as I brought my Labrador since was visiting from out of town and enjoyed a nice lunch with friends. Would definitely recommend this spot! One suggestion I would make to management is to consider installing ceiling fans in outdoor areas, as this will make the visit more comfortable for patrons. I noticed that heaters and lights were in the ceiling areas, but no fans and it was quite warm the day we were there, so would just help the flow of air.

We honestly didn't expect much from this restaurant since it is part/next to the Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance but WOW! We were surprised by some innovative dishes that were really outstanding like the pork belly with a deep fried soft boiled egg and heirloom tomato salad with burrata and prosciutto. We also had the octopus (as a main) and hanger steak which were delicious.

the service was very, very slow. it wasn't busy in there and i believe if you're going to have a dining facility open to the public as well as the hotel it's based in, you need more staff. We waited a really long time for our food.

The patio is odd, it's on the other side of the parking lot and unfortunately the divider wall doesn't totally shield you from it and the neighboring hotel. Maybe add some plants or something?

The appetizer and entree selections were nicely mixed, and we enjoyed the heirloom tomato and burrata salad and BBQ oysters to start. Both were really good, as were the halibut and lamb entrees. If the service was even close to the quality of the food it would have been a really great experience. Unfortunately, the service (starting with the MIA hostess upon our arrival) was not good... Too bad, as I would otherwise recommend this restaurant without any issue. As it stands, I'll leave it to the reader to make his / her own decision.

This restaurant was next door to the Lodge at Sonoma where we were staying. We went there for dinner but had been wine-tasting all day so we were not super hungry. We both had the cream of asparagus soup & each of us had a flatbread (they have 2 different kinds) which were both delicious! Then we had breakfast there the next morning. My husband had the orange French toast & I had the huevos rancheros-both yummy. Service was friendly & prompt.

Mother's Day
2 bones in my Benedict scramble
My husband and father in law ordered the granola and yogurt and theirs were the last to come out and my husband got his 7 minutes after my father in law even though it required no cook time.

We have gone to Carneros every time that we have been in Sonoma, we love the convenience of the restaurant and the quiet atmosphere. The food is very tasty however seems overpriced for some dishes and we paid $32.00 for a pasta dish which seems very pricey given that the taste was average.

Carneros Bistro has a menu that is interesting and varied in flavors. There's always a nice piece of fish or two included. The side veggies are often unique and flavorful. We appreciated that the kitchen was willing to split an entree for the two women in our party. The wine list includes some local favorites. The small plates are good to share or can be ordered as versatile side dishes. They had a cranky waitress that we kept getting who was reticent to ask the chef what was in a particular dish. Happily, we think she's been replaced. Now, dishes are made to order so if you can't handle a lot of garlic (for example) they can tweak the menu item to suit your tastes. The acoustics are good for quiet romantic dinners but once the place is full it can be noisy depending on the crowd characteristics. So, it's better to be in one of the corners near a window instead of centered seating.
