I have gone to Carnival on many occasions mostly for lunch. It is a bit more money than a standard lunch, but the variety of meats provided is well worth the cost.

The location is excellent and I will return at some point. There are two main servers, one who provides the fine cuts of meat( who is excellent and long time employee) and server who brings the side dishes and drinks. I believe she was the only one working, so she was super busy, we waited a bit for our side dishes.

This did not take away for our great meal though.

We had mixed feelings after reading some of the reviews.
The food was very good, the meats where cooked to medium, it was very juicy, done perfectly. The ceased salad was great.
Our Waitress Aline was very attentive. She did a great job.
We will be back again.

Not a big meat eater. I found all the beef tasted the same and all the pork tasted the same. The lamb was incredible. All the sides were delicious.
We were given a group on gift certificate at Christmas. When we went to use it we were only able to get the value that was paid. There should not be expires on it

We called to change our reservation to earlier and were told it wasn’t possible. Then we checked OpenTable immediately after we got off the phone and there was an earlier time available. Seemed strange as if they didn’t want to bother checking for us. Must have been understaffed because our server was spread so thin she barely had a chance to get to our table at all. Table was right in the middle of the restaurant and ambiance felt a bit crammed. Food on the other hand was quite good with all the different meat options brought around to the table. I’m sure this was an isolated incident and was just a bad day for the restaurant. I would still recommend it for the Brazilian barbecue experience.

Very friendly staff, great service. The lamb shoulder and flank steak were our top two favourites. Roasted pineapple with cinnamon is a good choice of a side. Wish there was more parking, almost got a ticket.. becareful where you park.

I was super excited to try Carnival, I’ve heard nothing but great things!
My husband, daughter and I went for Valentine’s Day and every single piece of meat we received was over cooked, and tasted like it’d be sitting for quite a long time.
We were also missed numerous times and had to ask our waitress if we could try the meats that walked by us.
I didn’t find any of the meat a “variety” they all tasted the same, and I didn’t see all of them either.
We needed up paying almost $160 for both of us plus drinks and a tip, and we weren’t satisfied at all.
Super disappointed for the price we payed.

I had high expectations for this restaurant but was disappointed with how salty the meat was. It was overpowering and I’m not someone who minds salty food. Perhaps if they eased up on the salt, I would give it 5/5 rather than a 3/5.
The service and environment was great. Parking wasn’t as bad as we had expected it would be given the neighbourhood.
It’s a bit pricey but we wouldn’t have minded had the meat been 5/5.
Overall, we would recommend the experience but warn people of the salt content. We will definitely try it again to see if it was just the chef cooking who was heavy on the salt...

WIshed the bar was on the same level as the restaurant, and the tabs could be carried over. Loved the pork tenderloin!

First off we waited forever for our server to come around. Then I had asked to see a menu which I was then told I had to eat in the lounge if I wanted menu but my husband wanted to try the all you can eat, then the meat part starts coming which most of it was very rare and I think there were about 15 meat portions we only seen 6 they kept coming around with the same stuff and what they did bring all had the same taste didn’t matter what it was. I wanted the chicken legs which I had requested the guy then returned and said they were out. In the meantime we finally met our server when we were finally able to order drinks and our sides she seemed a little pre occupied in talking to the other waitresses who I might add were very good with there tables constantly checking on them cleaning there table asking if they needed anything. There was a very pleasant young guy that we had to ask him for everything we needed. Our server came to our table 3 times once for a drink order once to finally after my husbands plate had no room cause it had all the raw rare meat on it she finally brought us a side plate for bones and scraps, didn’t refill our water which was empty then she went to the tables on either side of us we were in the middle of the 2 tables to check on them didn’t bother with us, and she only came back to ask if we ready for the bill making us feel like we were being pushed out even though it was closer to closing but not close enough. In my opinion I was not happy about being charged 122.00 for 2 people to eat and then not having the menu available to me and having to have the all you can eat. I paid 52.75 for caeser salad, mashed potatoes, and garlic bread which were all very tasty I must say. The restaurant itself was very beautiful and cozy. Just not impressed with the terrible service. I also asked the young busser/food runner if they shared tips and he said yes, that was the only reason we tipped because he did a fantastic job. Menu should be avail. in rest.

The service was amazing! It is a dining experience where you need to take your time. At least 2 hours. It’s pricy but save for it and make it special! Worth it!!

Second time there and just one comment. The meat is a little bit over-salted. I like a salty rub on BBQ but this was a little bit too much. Otherwise, it was great!
