Street parking in our neighborhood. The parking lot we used to lease has been sold for development so we are no longer able to offer valet parking. There is a school between Cedar to the south, Bayaud to the west, Washington to the east, and Pearl to the west. It is a short block from us and since no one lives there, it is a reliable place to find a parking spot.
Closest is Alameda Station

Carmine's On Penn Ratings and Reviews
We had a party of 6 with two small children. The food was very slow. If you're in a rush, don't order apps or salads - this causes your food to come out very slowly. That aside, the food - OMG - so good. We ordered the meat and cheese board, a salad, Pasta Carbonara, and Veal. Everything was exceptionally delicious.
Great foley d and excellent service. Food is served family style so you can sample different entrees or take leftovers home for an amazing the next day. The garlic bread is hot and fresh and a phenomenal way to begin your meal. Parking is difficult as restaurant sits in a residential neighborhood had to park several blocks away
The food and the service were ok. Nothing terrible but nothing really special. The exception was the Caesar Salad. It was prepared well. The entree dishes were pretty bland. All of the menu items are on a blackboard and a handheld blackboard-style menu. There are no item descriptions, just the name of the dish and the price. Servers describe the food - if you ask. The descriptions leave a little to be desired. We didn't dislike the restaurant but wouldn't rush to go back.
This was my second time dining at Carmine’s on Penn and it was just as good as I remember. There were 4 of us and we all loved it. It was a great spot for a double date and even though the restaurant was full we could still hear each other during conversations. I also really like how they now have portion sizes for 2 instead of just for 4. We will definitely be going back soon.
We brought two young children and the service was incredibly slow, so the dining experience was difficult/unpleasant. We told the server we were vegetarians, and they served used a special dish with prosciutto. We made a reservation and were sat in the back of the restaurant, instead of seated on the porch, which is the reason to eat at this restaurant. The food made us all feel uncomfortably full and a little sick.
Food very good and we loved the "sharing" theme of all the dishes. Great server and service. Only negative was a noisy and hard to hear with a large boisterous party next to us but we did fine shouting until they cleared out! Nice Italian wine list and could use a few more under $35 selections.
