Have eaten at Carmines many times and the food is always top notch. This visit our server was Dexter. An example of what wait staff should be as he explained the menu and what family style means at Carmines. He was attentive and not overbearing or up selling. For the two of us we had the stuffed mushrooms and pasta with garlic and oil. Both dishes were excellent but could not finish the pasta. Bottle of red wine and it doesn’t get much better. Great food and service by Dexter wonderful evening.

There was an initial delay in a server coming to our table. I went to the front desk and mentioned it. A server came to our table immediately, the manager came over to apologize, and we were comped an appetizer. The service from that point on was impeccable. Talk about turning something negative into something positive! There were no excuses, just apologies. As someone who is in the event planning business, we all know things don't always go as perfectly as we'd like, but it's always how we respond. Clearly, the staff at Carmine's care deeply about every customer and they proved it! We are transient customers, but they still valued our business and our experience. Great job! Thank you.

Very good food, excellent service. The only issue is it is very hard for two people to eat because all food is served family style. When you have only two people normally you have a 50% plus waste. If you are staying at one of the hotels, you cannot take home leftovers.

We waited over an hour for shrimp scampi and the server didn’t even realize it didn’t come. We had to tell him and still even after that, we waited another 30 minutes for it. They didn’t even apologize or take anything off of the bill. Not cool.

Our waitress was absolutely entertaining. The food was awesome which means the value for the food was great. I'd say the best value of all the places we ate during our week long stay in Vegas. We almost ate here a second time because we enjoyed it so much. It was a bit loud for these middle-aged ears but it's the same in every dining establishment in Vegas that's on the strip. Thoroughly enjoyed the Carmine salad. Of course our main course was fabulous too. I would skip the shrimp dish though, not enough shrimp to justify its cost. Other than that a must eat place.

We order too much food based on waiter’s recommendation. Party of 6 ended up with food for 12+. Appetizers did not make it before main courses. All in, good food and atmosphere. We learned at the end of meal that it was our waiter’s first day… would have been helpful to know that before ordering based on his advice for dishes and quantity of food.

We loved it but definitely know the portions are enormous and for 2 people it felt a bit wasteful because we couldn’t take the leftovers! I think it’s really best for groups of 4 or more.

Food was terrible. Wilted lettuce, extremely salty and over dressed ceasar salad, quite literally an inedible soggy salad. Meat balls were over processed and mushy.

Food and ambience was fantastic! Our waiter and wait staff were wonderful!! Upon checking in for our reservation however the hostess was not as pleasant. As my daughter and I entered we asked to sit at the bar until the rest of our friends arrived and she told me that we needed to sit on the other side since she ASSUMED that my daughter was not 21. When I asked to sit directly at the bar she addressed ME… not my daughter ( who is an adult as well) to whether she was 21 or older. I said yes. It was embarrassing in front of others standing there and demeaning to my daughter.
