El restaurante Carmine hace uso de un concepto sencillo y muy popular que consiste en servir cada comida como si fuera el banquete de una boda italoamericana, con abundantes aperitivos caseros, pastas, mariscos y platos de carne sobre grandes bandejas para compartir. Cada platillo principal podría alimentar a 3 o 4 comensales. El Carmine's original ocupa un antiguo salón de actos del Upper West Side de Manhattan. Diseñado por Peter Niemitz, presenta interiores que recuerdan al clásico restaurante por excelencia de Nueva York. I’ve had Carmines many times, in recent years I’ve felt like the quality had gone down a little….this was not the case. Everything was delicious and the wait staff was stellar

Joe, our server, was diligent! We needed quick service and we received it. We had a show to attend in 96th Street and Broadway. Made our show in plenty of time!

The food was great as always, but we had to wait a really long time for bread and water to get to the table. The waiters were changing shifts so we had to wait a while for our food as well. We couldn’t hear the waiter over the music and noise. They did honor our reservations even though we were 30 minutes late, which was courteous and kind. We will be back!

Food is ok, nothing to cry about not much taste. Ambience is beautiful but so loud. And every 5 minutes the staff has to sing happy birthday to a table. Nice service but long to come. Had to have the experience.

My daughter and her boyfriend from the Midwest, were visiting from Colorado. She wanted to give him a flavor of the city — a day of walking with her wish to conclude at Carmine’s for dinner. Not our first time, but never disappoints! The Carmine’s experience is always worth it — our waiter was spot on — when asked for his opinion, didn’t hesitate to offer great useful advice and the restaurant was full of its usual high energy and wonderful food. Thanks you to all you folks!

Carmine is overall good. I have visited this location on several occasions. However, my recent experience was not as positive as I had hoped. I had originally made a reservation for 7:00 PM, but unfortunately, my party arrived late. The host was extremely accommodating and graciously extended our reservation to 7:30 PM. While I waited for the rest of my party, I decided to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, the service quality was not up to par. The bartender was unfriendly and contributed to a subpar atmosphere. Once my party arrived, we were seated promptly. The table they put together for 13 people was made to sit 11 people because although theyre was 13 seats two of them were blocked with the party behind us. The party behind us was causing a disturbance, and their luggage was encroaching on the chairs we needed. A female manager intervened and suggested that we walk back to the bar and give the team three minutes to reset the table. The food was generally good, although the baked clams and calamari were excessively salty. The Cesar salad was exceptional, and the rest of the dishes were good. Our server attempted to over-sell us, which was appreciated. However, I had already made my decisions, and I listened to his suggestions. I had to repeatedly flag someone to clear the table, as they were bringing out dessert while we had a significant number of dirty dishes. Despite the minor inconveniences, I had better experiences at Carmine in the past. Therefore, I consider last night’s visit to be subpar

The service and food at Carmine's on 91st Street in NYC were absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The meal was not only delicious but also offered incredible value for the experience. A special shout-out to our waiter, Angelo, who went above and beyond—his recommendations were spot-on and truly elevated our dining experience. We can't wait to return!
