Excelentes platos para compartir! Super recomendable!

El servicio excelente, la comida riquísima. La única “contra” es que se escuchaba mucho bullicio.
Pero sin duda, volveré!

We love Carmine’s! Our waitress wasn’t the most friendly but that didn’t stop us from having a great time and enjoying the amazing food.

It was our last night visiting New York and we had a lovely special meal 😊 we had booked in advance and arrived a little early due to the rain, but we were quickly seated 😊 the service and food were super and is definitely recommend Carmine’s to anyone visiting !!

Every time we visit NYC, we come to Carmine’s. It never disappoints. It’s a great gathering place with friends and especially fun when some of the folks have never had a Carmine’s experience!

The food was absolutely amazing. Fresh angel hair pasta with chicken saltinboa...to die for. Would highly recommend going! Portions are huge where it is family style...suggest going with another couple or two and chose favorites to share.

Terrible experience from the time we got there. We sat for 15 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted water or anything. Waiter then spilled grease all over my daughter brand new coat and my mom coat. Called yesterday to talk to manager of course no one he called back. Will never go back.

Sweet Sixteen Birthday

Have eaten here several times when we visit NYC. Brought guests for their first visit. The place is noisy, but the food is good and reasonably priced for NYC. Like the family style. The person at the door herding people to the bar area was offensive. Everyone else was on top of their game.

As part of 50th birthday celebrations for my wife - Carmines was everything you’d hope for in an Italian Restaurant...the place bounces with continual movement as the service is electric....you can feed a family of 4 with the size of the portions - it is truly an experience you’ll never forget! We won’t!

Had a reservation made over two months ago but still waited in excess of 30 minutes to be seated. There was absolutely no where to stand to wait even though management told us to wait at the bar. It was excessively crowded and very stressful. Wouldn’t do this again. The server was just an order taker - nothing more. This is not a place to enjoy a nice dinner.

It is now officially a family tradition we are trying to get a group of twenty to go to a play and Carmine’s will be our first stop!!! Book your reservation early and let the anticipation of a great family style meal with friendly people and a great atmosphere in the heart of NYC warm your heart

Once again Carmines was a great experience for entertaining clients at a business lunch. Convenient from nearby conference, reservation prompt, welcoming service staff, great food, waitress explained family style portions and very positive experience during a busy lunch period. Table was a little tight for 6 people but overall experience was a 9. Definitely will be back again.

The food and ambience were great! Portions were a bit big and overpriced for 2 adults and 2 children.

Do not remember waitress’s name, but she was fabulous. We had several special needs (2 gluten free folks, one who is a child & a vegetarian). She was so accommodating & pleasant throughout. We had a wonderful time & she certainly made that possible. Food was really good!!! We love the pasta gardeniere. Love Carmine’s.

The chicken Parmesan was very good but the pasta was a little bit undercooked. Really great value though!

The ladies who work the check in hostess area are super nice, they were awesome. I had made a change to my reservation and changed the date as well by mistake, so we showed up this past Saturday post show times at around 10:30 PM and the hostess did not have my reservation , she ask if I possibly had the email which I did and it showed I made it for incorrect night. We all laughed , she told me hang in there and they would try ...we only waited less than 10 min and were seated. We were three women dining alone , we had a great seat right in front of the window. The server never got our drink order until have someone seated after us had been served food. Ok so they are busy . I have been before several times but it became evident that the other tables who were seated after us were all getting food and drinks and we were 3 white woman, practically everyone else was black in that waiters sections. I was a bit dissapointed in service as I had family meeting from Argentina and its was there 1st time to Show and late dinner. I always have great food there and always good service this was perhaps a new server!

I booked this restaurant weeks before we went to NY and it’s a good job I did as when we arrived it was so busy. The atmosphere was great. We had booked for 8pm but arrived 20 minutes earlier so we had a quick drink at the bar and were then quickly seated. The food was great, drinks were lovely the only thing that let it down was the service from our waiter. After waiting quite a while we were given a menu and then again waited a while for our order to be taken. The table next to us ordered about 2 minutes before us and received their starter of calamari very quickly, we ordered that aswell and waited ages, the table on the other side of us which was a table of 4 were seated and ordered way after us however they still got their starters before us. Eventually a waiter came over with our mains however we had not had our starter yet. They took the mains away and then brought our calamari. In the mean time I had ordered another drink (waiter forgot about it) my husband then ordered another peroni (waiter forgot about it again). The table was very wobbly so we asked our waiter if he had a wedge or even a beer mat, he forgot this aswell so we used a knife to stop it wobbling. The mains then arrived however we hadn’t even finished our starter, but at that point I didn’t even care any more. What we ate was delicious and like I said the place is great I just think our waiter couldn’t cope with all his tables as the table of four next to us had fantastic service from a different waiter. It’s just a shame as we were really looking forward to it and left slightly disappointed.

You don't know what your missing....Fantastic Food. This is my favorite restaurant in New York City. Can't wait to eat here every time I visit. The baked stuff clams are to die for. I have never had a bad meal.
