Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.

Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

Oh my gosh, if you’re in New York, you should do everything possible to dine at Carmine’s. We enjoyed the dining experience of a life time. So glad we made reservations weeks ago.The portions of food were gigantic and delicious. Our server, Jose, was terrific. Funny, attentive and so professional. It’s such a cool, relaxed atmosphere. It seemed like everyone was having a good time and talking to people round them at other tables.

I’ve always had wonderful experiences at Carmine’s, and I want to start by saying the host and greeters were absolutely exceptional—warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The food, as always, was outstanding. Carmine’s never disappoints when it comes to quality and flavor. Unfortunately, this visit was marred by the service at our table. Our waitress was noticeably inattentive and unengaged from the start. After declining sparkling water, we were never offered or served tap water. Bread arrived with our salad, and before we were halfway through, our entrees were already at the table—making the meal feel rushed and disorganized. When we asked if the remaining salad could be packed up for the four of us, the response was dismissive: “I can pack it in one box.” We had to specifically request four separate boxes. After that, she didn’t check back with us at all, even though we could see her actively attending to other nearby tables. This was my first poor service experience at Carmine’s, which was disappointing given how much I usually enjoy dining here. I hope this was just an off night, and not indicative of a larger shift in service quality.

Carmine’s is always a treat when visiting NYC. The food is tasty and the portions are extra large no matter the party size. This time we had the prime rib. It was like so tender and juicy. I’ll recommend Carmine’s to anyone when visiting NYC.
