Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

    It was a great time as usual, although prices are getting hyped up again in NY. When it comes to bringing guests and family to the restaurant, things are getting a bit pricy... Ex: Bottles of Red wine not below us$50 for a bottle that costs us$12 at a local bodega...

    Outstanding! Cannot say enough. Food was fabulous. We ordered calamari appetizer. Pasta carbonara special, which was wonderful and the veal Marsala which was delicious! We also had a salad which could have fed 12. (We were a party of four). We have to give our sincere apologies to the manager who very politely came over to the table while we were waiting for the rainstorm to stop and tell us we had been seated for three hours! Time got away from us as we were enjoying the atmosphere and food so much.

    Super fun and lively place to go before a show or anytime in Times Square. I would recommend attending with no fewer than a group of six or so though unless you want to take home a lot of leftovers!

    The food was incredible! We had excellent seats, a booth off to the side, away from the crowds. The serving size was ridiculously large, no exaggeration, enough food on one plate to serve 3 people. Could reduce prices and make serving sizes more appropriate. All in all, a great dinner experience.

    Great place for after a matinee with the family. The staff are excellent, from the lovely man at the front door to the front house staff to the wait staff- friendly, fast and know their stuff. The food is classic NY Italian fare delivered hot and fresh from the kitchen in plentiful amounts. I was surprised that such a busy place could deliver the food so nice and hot, but they did it. Our table was cozy so we could actually talk to each other, and the meal was paced so that we could enjoy each course and we were not rushed. It's Theater district pricing but the price is worth the experience, and there will be leftovers so you get a second night off if you are the cook :) I will be back!

    I booked the 44th Street Location for 2 for Restaurant Week specifically and reserved for the 22nd received email and text confirmation got there prior to my 3 o' clock reservation and was told the location didn't participate. I was with my son so I decided to stay and pay full price for what's normally my favorite item from the menu.... Penne Alla Vodka fir myself. It was horrible compared to the many tines I've ordered and eaten it. I instead only ordered for my son Chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti which he loved & Apple Juice. Highly disappointed.

    Fantastic place fantastic time only thing I wasn’t happy with was I had a reservation for 5 PM. Had to wait till almost 5:45 to sit down. Otherwise, overall was great if I would’ve known I had to wait 45 minutes to get seated I would’ve made my reservation earlier anticipated otherwise, no complaints fantastic

    Bake clams and shrimp parm were so so. Both came out luke warm. Waiter, Adrian, took the order then disappeared. Came back after delivering the check and kept asking if we were ready. I told him I don’t like being rushed, then he disappeared again. It will be a while until I decide to go back.

    Have eaten here several times through the years. This time we had an original server that wouldn’t put in our appetizer order without our meal order too. Then a different server came. We ordered the appetizer and the rest of our meal. Salad came out before appetizer which is not what we wanted. Never served any bread at all. Only saw server occasionally. Very disappointed this visit

    Great place for theatre meal; harder to order well with a smaller group because of large family portions but great option for larger groups. Carmine salad was excellent as was the super garlicky stuffed artichoke. Chicken saltimboca was tender and flavorful . Cheesecake divine.

    It's family dining so for a couple there is a risk of a lot of waste. Would be a great place to bring a group of friends or large family. Not great for 2 people.
