Ask for tap water if you want it. We were surprised with $8 per bottle water service without asking for our preference or mentioning it. Otherwise everything was great.

A wonderful date night or family dinner. The atmosphere was a delight and food/drink were excellent. First time experience with family size portion options. Plan to take food home on a date night but a great meal for the whole family. Very reasonable pricing and awesome service. Can’t wait to visit again.

Carmines will definately be out to go to when visiting Nee York. Everything was perfect. The food was great, service was outstanding and the portions were huge. Wish we had one here in Michigan

Definitely great food but this is a family style restaurant. So I would say unless your group is 3 people or more, this may not be it for you. Because the food comes out on very large plates with a really good amount of food. The salad IMHO can feed 6 - 8 people. If you want smaller portions, go to the bar and get food off of the bar menu.

This was an excellent choice food-wise for a group of 8. Dishes are served family style, which worked perfectly for us-- 2 appetizers, 3 entrees and one side. There were plenty of options. The food was served quickly and everything was delicious. My only hesitations for returning with my family is the wait and limited accessibility. Even with a reservation, we had to wait in line outside and again inside for our table (15 mins). There are two levels in the restaurant and the space is packed tightly, which are significant issues for diners with mobility concerns. For us, this was a problem because we were seated upstairs and the elevator was not working. The elders in our group had a lot of difficulty getting up and down the stairs.

Made a quick reservation before catching a show. Service was good but a little slow & the food (penne alla vodka) was okay, I’ve had better. Large portions. Would probably go again since it’s near our next broadway show.

Celebrated mother in laws bday. Carolina was our server and she made great suggestions. We Ordered the special of the day, salmon stuffed with a crab and scallops stuffing! DELICIOUS. The carmines salad was also very good with small cubes of cheese and Italian meats, roasted peppers, olives and a scrumptious house dressing! Enjoyed the bread as well. The staff sang HBD and we enjoyed cannolis for BD dessert! Great service as always. Can’t wait to return
