Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.
Private party facilities
Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

Definitely great food but this is a family style restaurant. So I would say unless your group is 3 people or more, this may not be it for you. Because the food comes out on very large plates with a really good amount of food. The salad IMHO can feed 6 - 8 people. If you want smaller portions, go to the bar and get food off of the bar menu.

This was an excellent choice food-wise for a group of 8. Dishes are served family style, which worked perfectly for us-- 2 appetizers, 3 entrees and one side. There were plenty of options. The food was served quickly and everything was delicious. My only hesitations for returning with my family is the wait and limited accessibility. Even with a reservation, we had to wait in line outside and again inside for our table (15 mins). There are two levels in the restaurant and the space is packed tightly, which are significant issues for diners with mobility concerns. For us, this was a problem because we were seated upstairs and the elevator was not working. The elders in our group had a lot of difficulty getting up and down the stairs.

Made a quick reservation before catching a show. Service was good but a little slow & the food (penne alla vodka) was okay, I’ve had better. Large portions. Would probably go again since it’s near our next broadway show.

chicken caesar salad is so delicious....usually just order plain ordered chicken marsala and it was not to my taste...usually order shrimp and pasta...much better!!!

We are often in Manhattan, maybe 10 times a month. Carmines is not a usual go to, but they are very warm and accommodating. It can be hard to find anything to eat in the theater district, so having said that I recommend the restaurant, but the food is really mediocre That said in the right circumstance, I would go back.

Had reservation and seated within 10 minutes of reservation time. Portions can easily serve 6! They brought a surprise dessert to my friend for her birthday. Nice evening.
