   Our waiter Christian was very nice and was on point with how service. Jordan the young lady who walked us to the table was kind and so full on life.

   Was able to wait at the bar before our table was ready! Great service. Absolutely HUGE portions! Family style to the max. For 2 people it was a ton, lots of leftovers. Would be even better with a bigger group, but they box it all up to take home. I’d come back!

   Waited 20 mins for our reservation. Waitress accidentally dropped food in my hair and clothes. She never brought us our appetizer. When main course arrived we asked her what happened to our appetizer? She said she forgot to put it in. The peppers on our steak weren’t well done and requested. Food was average but the overall experience wasn’t good.

   Alexis was great & fun! Dinner was great! We got gluten free pasta because one of our party of 8 was gluten intolerant.

   We waited 35 minutes past our reservation time. We had to remind the waiter of parts of our order. Food was great.

   This is a stop we make at least once a year when in the city. We had Jonathan as our waiter on this visit, and he was outstanding. Jonathan treated us like we were his only customers. He took our order and then brought out the food with the right amount of spacing, so we did not feel rushed. The food is always outstanding, and we are always bringing food home because of the portion sizes that allows us to have dinner for the next day or two. The seating can be tight depending on where they sit you. The last few times we have been very lucky and were seated in good locations. We arrived before the area theaters were done with the matinee show so we beat the crowd. I highly recommend Carmines and ask for Jonathan to be your waiter. Also, do not be afraid to order what you want and then take the extra home. Carmines served up the perfect ending to a day in the city again.

    Second visit there would go back again and again. Recommend if you ordered too much food, bag it up and give it to the homeless.
