Carlucci's Waterfront Ratings and Reviews
Nice to c owner operator helping out on floor old school rare to c in the rest today a well run rest it shows they r for the customers n treats them like family not a guest check nice job
Patrick wasn't the most attentive server i've had. we didn't even see him at all durning our entree course. he disappeared for probably 30 minutes we did not see him and had another server deliver our entrees and clear the plates and get me a box for my food.
Just a great place for a dinner date. Dining on the terrace was very relaxed with a guitar player and with the river view. Food and service were excellent. Our waitress, Amanda, was fantastic.
We will definitely be back.
I liked the restaurant, however, I would probably not come back until the bathrooms are updated. They truly were horrible, my boyfriend said the same thing about the men's room. I don't mean that they were horribly dirty, just too small and grossly outdated. Hopefully, with the construction, the bathrooms will get a complete update. I also noticed a lot of flys buzzing around while trying to eat, I had to swat with my hand several times because they were near my food. On the positive side, my eggplant rolatini was delicious!
Great experience! Too hot outside but went out after dinner to enjoy the view!
We had a very pleasant experience dining outdoors. The view over looking he water provided very nice ambiance. They were accommodating with special changes to the entree and the server was very helpful. Only down side was the food, especially anything with sugar as an ingredient began to attract tiny bugs. When it was removed they disappeared. They do try to control it but If there was a better solution other than burning a torch, it would be helpful.
SUCKED! Bad service, well - hardly any service! Was supposed to be "Farm to Fork" - nothing came from any farm! Had to constantly ask other wait staff to find our waiter. Manager was rude - asked "do you want to leave?" after 2 hours when we were still waiting for a check.
views are nice but food was about average. the garden salad was warm and wilting. I would rather have iceberg lettuce than warm wilted greens with lots of stems. salmon was a little dry but tasty.
This looks to be old restaurant that is in the process of having some work done to the outside of the building. The dining room could use some dressing up, in all it seems dated. They had a keyboard player that was nice and could be heard throughout the dining room. The food we had was good, we had calamari for an appetizer. Nothing was the off the charts great, it was a nice meal.
My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner at 8PM tonight and it was wonderful. I was worried about the bugs since we are outside but I was pleasantly surprised they didn't seem to be an issue. The meal was delicious, our waiter was wonderful and the scenery made me feel like I was down the shore. We will definitely be back.
The food and service was very good. The choice of eating on the patio, although scenic, resulted in issues with sunshine as the individual umbrellas covering the 4 tables made it uncomfortable for some of my guests. The children enjoyed watching the boats on the river. I thought some of the entres were pricey.
Absolutely the worst food and service I have every had in my 50 years of eating! Waiter was extremely rude from minute 1, couldn't handle a large party and put a pile of dirty played in from of person next to me. Ordered veggie lasagna and it came out like 1 level of mess. Very poor presentation. Fish and chips were greasy and 1 small crab cake for $$. Never again!!!
Everything was great. Our service was slow, but it was not the fault of our server. The kitchen was slow for everyone. We come often; must have been a manpower problem in the kitchen.
I have only two complaints with this restaurant. 1. The noise level is a bit high with a full room of people. 2.The prices for the steak or seafood entrees is a bit on the high side. That being said the portions are generous the service was very good and everyone enjoyed their meals with several of us taking home enough for a second meal.
We were celebrating an 85th birthday for a friend. The server was very gracious and did a great job making us feel special.
Cons: The waiter was not very friendly. Our salads came out before our appetizer. Our reservation was for 7 PM and we finally ate our dinner at 8:30. The food was okay.
Pros: Beautiful waterfront seating with beautiful sunset. The manager was very accommodating when we complained and gave us one free
round of drinks and actually took one dinner off of our bill.
we dine here 4-5 times a year. last nite we dined outside ,it was a beautiful evening. the food was excellent, ambiance beautiful. service was poor. our waiter , after dinner and dessert had to be asked 3 times for the check. half hour later he brought it. we will eat there again but will refuse to have him serve us. It made the evening there ok but could have been outstanding !
Made a reservation for my 25th wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint. The views are amazing and the service was very attentive. The food was spectacular and the bar service creative and varied....all very good. It was the first, but not the last time I will be there.
The food was good and the waitress was just wonderful. Since I have been going to this location since it was Pirates Inn, I am not a fan of the banquet style setting. I didn't realize a neighbor of mine was eating at the bar, I could not see the back side of the bar.
The atmosphere was great food was great the day of and the day after..children enjoyed the atmosphere, we had a graduation get together and family was happy!
We had a beautiful evening. The service was a bit of struggle and I chalked it up to the Father's Day rush. We had a pretty late reservation on purpose in an effort to avoid the rush. But, I assume the servers were flustered by the time we arrived. I would still return and even recommend to anyone who loves to eat. The portions were very large. The prime rib was the best I've tasted by far and the crabmeat bruschetta was absolutely amazing.
Everything was exquisite from the food to the customer service. Definitely will come again.
Excellent service, great food, and spectacular view!!!
First time dining always wanted to try ... excuse the outside appearance as they are under construction /remodel when you first arrive .. dining areas were very nice as well as the service .. my only complaint was the bad oysters that I ordered as they were not fresh or chilled at all .. however the staff came out and suggested something else but I Declined .. the rest of the meal was fair and the view was outstanding on the water front !
First table was next to a noisy private party. After a courteous move to a new table the experience was great. The waiter was a joy and very attentive. Food was great as always.
I was disappointed when we arrived on Father's Day because nowhere on the website did it indicate that it would be a dinner menu all day--which is twice the price. We came for lunch. We were trying to keep lunch on the less expensive side and chose this restaurant based on the lunch menu. Also my sister and I both got the crabcake and it had no taste at all. It was $300 for lunch for 5 people. My dad and brother liked their sea bass. There was also a screaming toddler sitting next to us and they were sate after we were already seated. There were many other tables available, but they sat them next to us and the tables were very close. Every time they got up, they hit my chair. View was nice, but I wont be going back.
Although waiter was very nice, food came out after quite a wait. Also, kitchen forgot vegetable sides. Waiter mentioned there was a large private party going on so things were a bit hectic. Have been here before and enjoyed it more. Next time back we will ask about any large parties before committing.
Early Father's Day dinner for husband.
