Carlucci's Waterfront Ratings and Reviews
Food is always great. The specials are always a good bet. Outdoor dining along the river is beautiful. They are still doing renovations on the building.
Celebrated wife's birthday with family. Service was very good and attentive. Food for most part was very good (one or two meals were a bit overcooked). Dined outside on the patio overlooking the Rancocas Creek - very scenic.
we dined outdoors, lovely river view. food was good but the vegetable lasagna was a disappointment. I was expecting seasonal vegetables and it was made with corn, peas, lima beans and beans! My husband had the broiled seafood which he was pleased with.
Only had one good thing, the tuna tacos. Caesar salad was horrible. Mashed potatoes and string beans tasted like they were from a cafeteria. Took a long time for food to arrive. This was our second and last visit.
Ordered veal marsala was so overdone it tasted like sawdust and I thlnk they forgot to put marsala in the sauce. Wait time for food was outrageous. One guest had surf and turf for $58 and the puny lobster tail was lousy. Also, higly over priced
Always enjoy my meal at Carluccis. Food great, good service, nice atmosphere. Gone to banquets, dinner, lunch as a date, with friends & a group never disappointed.
It is always a pleasure dining at Carluccis.... beautiful view and incredible food!!
Dining outside was very nice but food is a little overpriced for quality. Waiter seemed to get frustrated as dinner went on. Ok but not worth all the great reviews. Ok place but again overrated.
Unfortunately the only good thing about this restaurant is the waterfront view. The food was terrible. My friend actually felt sick after dining here. The menu is limited. The bathroom was a disgrace. It smelled, the trash was flowing out of the can and the paper towel roll was on the sink in a puddle of water. When the reservation was made on Opentable, it was mentioned that it was a birthday celebration. The restaurant did nothing to celebrate or even say "Happy Birthday." Very disappointed in our dining experience.
Sat outside, sun was a bit of a problem as we were on the edge of their cover, but otherwise was great. Very good service, and the food was excellent. Several hard-to-please eaters in the group, and they were all impressed. We've been here several times, and will definitely come again.
The food was a split decision for me, which is why I only gave it 3 stars. I thought the main part of the entrée was very good, but the side dishes weren't as up to par. The bread and salads were good but the appetizer was just ok (I had the calamari). Also, the service was a little slow but they were busy, so I give them a pass. All of the servers seemed very pleasant and attentive when needed. And the atmosphere was great. So overall I thought everything was good to very good. Not yet a 4-star restaurant, but I wouldn't hesitate to return.
We went to celebrate my son's recent promotion. We loved the waterfront location, but the food was not impressive. My husband ordered the NY strip steak, which appeared to be medium rare as ordered but still was tough and dry. My Veal Saori to would have been ok except that it was swimming in a large amount of a bland champagne cream sauce. My son's fried seafood platter was standard fare. The veg of the day was mixed vegetables that looked like they came out of the freezer. This is during peak fresh veggie season in south jersey. All in all, a disappointing experience.
I have been here a few times, and just love the food and the service.
Love the renovations! Can't wait until they're finished but great waterfront venue. Great staff and food.
We were very disappointed. Service was very slow, food was barely warm. They sat us near a sliding door to the patio and we were inundated with flies, one was in a glass of water. We were never offered the price fixe menu and were told WE Had to ask for it. Poor customer service. Won't be back. Too many other places.
Back again. Girlfriend decided. Great choice. Food, as usual, was excellent. Service was great.
My favorite place for Italian has always been Carlucci's, but we have always dined at the Yardley location. This was my first visit to this location on the waterfront and I was a little disappointed.
The views are nice, especially with the outside dining. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. It was the menu options where I felt I was missing out. Although there are several options, I felt the "Italian" options were minimal of not non-existent. There were plenty of seafood options, but a limited number of pasta options, and that is primary reason I love Carlucci's so much. There wasn't even Alfredo on the menu :( I settled for Bucatini Cacio Pepe, which was served in a baked cheese bowl. My food was good, not great, but good.
My husband ordered the Braciola. Steak stuffed with cheese, spinach, etc. Served with rigatoni. Mostly disappointed in this because it was smothered in red sauce. The steak was not cooked to order, and my husband presers a rare steak. The entire platter, including the steak, being covered in red sauce made it taste like a giant meatball, instead of the $34 steak dinner we were expecting.
Overall, we were content with our visit, but would only return to our favorite Yardley location (which is BYOB btw!).
I had a group of 5. The entrees are very good but the salads were warm and wilted with not enough dressing. Since we had an early reservation I got the feeling that our salads were left over from the previous day.
My family and I are regular visitors at Carlucci's in Yardley. We had a gift card and decided to try Carlucci's on the Waterfront as we were told that food is good and scenery is great. This was true. Food was excellent, seating was good, service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
The food was excellent. Quickly served as well. The staff was attentive. The waterfront view was awesome! They have a reward's card that we signed up for.
Nice to c owner operator helping out on floor old school rare to c in the rest today a well run rest it shows they r for the customers n treats them like family not a guest check nice job
Patrick wasn't the most attentive server i've had. we didn't even see him at all durning our entree course. he disappeared for probably 30 minutes we did not see him and had another server deliver our entrees and clear the plates and get me a box for my food.
Just a great place for a dinner date. Dining on the terrace was very relaxed with a guitar player and with the river view. Food and service were excellent. Our waitress, Amanda, was fantastic.
We will definitely be back.
I liked the restaurant, however, I would probably not come back until the bathrooms are updated. They truly were horrible, my boyfriend said the same thing about the men's room. I don't mean that they were horribly dirty, just too small and grossly outdated. Hopefully, with the construction, the bathrooms will get a complete update. I also noticed a lot of flys buzzing around while trying to eat, I had to swat with my hand several times because they were near my food. On the positive side, my eggplant rolatini was delicious!
Great experience! Too hot outside but went out after dinner to enjoy the view!
We had a very pleasant experience dining outdoors. The view over looking he water provided very nice ambiance. They were accommodating with special changes to the entree and the server was very helpful. Only down side was the food, especially anything with sugar as an ingredient began to attract tiny bugs. When it was removed they disappeared. They do try to control it but If there was a better solution other than burning a torch, it would be helpful.
SUCKED! Bad service, well - hardly any service! Was supposed to be "Farm to Fork" - nothing came from any farm! Had to constantly ask other wait staff to find our waiter. Manager was rude - asked "do you want to leave?" after 2 hours when we were still waiting for a check.
