    Best experience I've had at any restaurant that I've been too. Paul our server was the best. He made the experience amazing. He explained and answered every question myself and my date had. Also brought my date out a birthday surprise for her birthday. We will definitely be spending every special occasion here. Our filet was cooked to perfection and had so much flavor. Paul recommended the Mac and cheese and he definitely recommended the right item to go with our filet and lobster tail.

    We very much enjoyed our visit to Carlo & Johnny's. The food outstanding, the atmosphere quaint, albeit a bit on the dark side where we were sitting (lighting, subjective). Staff very much engaging. TV's throughout the bar area with the Bengals Monday Night Football Game on (muted) thankfully allowing us to enjoy the game with a bottle of wine and a fabulous dinner.

    Paul is absolutely AMAZING!!! It’s so nice to have staff that interact with our 15 and 13 year old daughters. We enjoyed his service very much. We look forward to coming back and will be requesting Paul specifically! Thanks for being so amazing Paul.

    We loved our steak and lobster dinner. It was our first time as the Precinct is closer but I gotta say it was excellant+ as the slightest char on the filet took it to tender perfection! The service was fast but reserved. We loved the ambiance and will Definitely be back ( maybe even before the Precinct! LOL! ). A VERY NICE DINNER!

    Wonderful service provided by Adam Deserts are incredible- please share. Wish a few of fellow diners adhered to dress code of "business casual " or better. On menu specials are top notch.

    We've been to a Jeff ruby's restaurant before but this is the first time at this location. It seems to have taken longer than usual to get our food. Not sure why. Over all was a decent visit for my daughter's birthday.

    Our experience tonight, at Carlo & Johnny, was exceptional. We have enjoyed many, many high-end restaurants. Tonight will stay with us always, unforgettable and full~filling. Paul, our waiter, was one of a kind! Paul's timing with conversation and wittiness left us smiling every time he approached our table. Thank you for playing such a beautiful part of memories we will treasure. Tonight was extraordinary! Grateful

    Second time here in last 2 months and I just love the food! Our waiter could have been more attentive but overall not a big deal. I wasn’t in a hurry by any means but dinner for 4 people taking an hour and 45 mins seemed a bit long. We sat in the bar area this time and loved watching football while we ate a great meal. Don’t sleep on the smoked old fashioned! It was a perfect start to a great meal!

    I highly recommend this restaurant. We went to Carlo & Johnny to celebrate my friend's birthday. We all had an excellent experience, and Paul took such amazing care of us and went above and beyond for us. My friend particularly enjoyed the Japanese A5 Wagyu beef prepared rare plus. All of our steaks and sides were so delicious. My guests really enjoyed the crab leg and shrimp cocktail appetizers and commented that the seafood was really fresh. Paul ensured that our birthday guest was treated like royalty. What a special evening! We plan to return soon to this treasure of a restaurant.

    Our anniversary dinner was spot on! Joe and Paul provided wonderful service.Paul was able to retrieve a Manhattan drink recipe from the bartender as we raved about the drink. Thanks for making our evening wonderful.

    As always, Carlo and Johnny's was outstanding. Had the Surf and turf and steak was cooked as ordered - Medium Rare Plus. Service was great! Had a great time celebrating my Dad's 78th birthday! Will be back soon!

    Steaks were amazing! Philip our server was incredible. Very personable. He even taught me a thing or two about wine. Made great recommendations and made the night very memorable for us. Highly recommend Phillip as your server! Top notch service all around!

    Came for another Anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. Food was as good as always and service was great. They brought out the 3 desert sampler for us, all were excellent. The other couple had creme brule desert, also delicious.

    Got the Filet / Lobster Special. The asparagus was cold , the lobster was also cold and the Filet had no taste. The sautéed mushroom had a very salty taste.The service from the staff was very attentive and enjoyable. I was very disappointed in the food, the #1 reason I came was for the food. I came with my wife,son and daughter in law as thank you dinner for my son and daughter in law. I didn’t ask anyone how their meal was. Since I was paying and it was a thank you to son and his wife for the help they have provided to my wife and I due to illness I was doubtful they would. I know this ruined my evening and hoping it didn’t ruin anyone else’s in our party.

    Dining room was sort of loud and raucous. Lots of people very under dressed in my opinion. Dress code business casual. People wearing t-shirts and flannel shirts with jeans. My lower rating on the value had to do with things like a small scoop of garlic butter which cost an extra $5. It was tasty, but maybe it should just come complimentary with the steak? Service was great! Louie - fantastic.
