Cargo is a family run restaurant, bar and deli that serves fresh, locally sourced produce. Our diners can enjoy stunning views across the Mersey and even incredible sunsets. If you are lucky enough to be dining with us whilst one of the cruise ships are in port then you really are in for a treat as we have a ringside seat here at Cargo. Whether it’s a business lunch you’re after, a private family party or you just want to nip in for a coffee, our friendly staff look forward to welcoming you.

Cargo was recommended to us by a friend, went for Sunday lunch which was fantastic. The venue was child friendly if that's what you require. Very spacious, with lovely outdoor eating area, food was excellent quality and great value for money, can't wait to go back

Food was excellent, large portions, nicely presented. Nice atmosphere with background music, not too loud. Lovely view over river. Service was swift. After we had finished our meal we were left to chat with no pressure to pay and leave as so often happens these days. I will certainly recommend this restaurant. We will be back.

After a long drive we were made to feel very welcome. Good food good value. Few diners though as its a bit out of the way.

The fish was great. We were the only diners there on a Saturday night which was a shame. Great to watch the various cargo ships passing. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cargo Liverpool is situated on the banks of the River Mersey, a quiet location with excellent views. Staff were very attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had Sunday Roast Dinner, which was delicious and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I arrived and was pleasantly surprised with parking . I live at Waterloo Quay and was really shocked when my friend arrived who has suggested restaurant that you had been here this long. So not surprised it was quiet for a Friday night ! I feel you have a great location good interior . Food was and presentation of was VERY GOOD !!! I am from a Hotel background of many years the potential is enormous ! Your team extremely friendly and welcoming but lacking in experience , your tables need to be more up keeping with a star restaurant your cutlery and glassware not correct . Put this right ! and market this jewel on the dock . Kind regards Colette

Wednesday night. My birthday. Not many in but it was Wednesday night . Service very good as was the food. Bit of a walk back into town . Would be nice on a summer night . Great value for money . Will definitely go back.
