Waiter kept bothering us
We had a table of six and the service could not have been better! Nathan was our main server but there was a team and they were excellent. All of the food was fantastic until the entrees came. Those of us who ordered fish were very happy but half the table ordered steak and it was tough. The steak was cooked properly ( med rare in some cases), but was barely able to be cut with a steak knife. We were disappointed in the main meal but everything else was top notch. Stick with the fish, it was fantastic!
Excellent but a little pricy . Quiet with with top level service and great food. Date restaurant.
We had a wonderful evening at Caretta's and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating a special occasion. The ambiance, service, food and wine was perfect. The lobster bisque was very flavourful and not too thick, and although the Dover Sole was delicious, it was not quite as good as what we've had in other restaurants of the same calibre. The wine list was quite extensive, and provided a broad range of prices.
We went for an early valentines day and it was an amazing sunset and good view of the beach. I would for sure like to go back.
Had both dinner and Sunday Brunch. Good selection at Brunch, although deserts a little bland.

We arrived early and enjoyed drinks on the deck before entering the dining room. I wanted to try the grouper, for which the area is famous. I ordered the prix fixe dinner option (with choices for each course), and it was delicious, and a good value. I selected the tuna roll, the tomato soup, the grouper, and creme brulee for dessert. My husband had the veal, also excellent. We timed our reservation just right and enjoyed a beautiful sunset view. Our waiter did a good job of offering suggestions and was initially very attentive, but didn't check back with us that much later on, which would have been nice. Overall, an excellent meal and experience.
I made this reservation 4 months in advance for a Birthday dinner. I requested a window table. When we arrived at the restaurant there was not a window table reserved for us. When we inquired as to why since our reservation was made 4 months ago, we were RUDELY told that they do not reserve window tables but it is on a first come first serve basis. We were not told of this policy when we booked. We were disappointed about the window table but understood the restaurant's policy. What upset us was the manager's attitude.....very non-caring and the manager basically said if you don't like our rules, then get out. Even though I mentioned a special occasion of a birthday when I made the reservation and also mentioned it to the manager upon checking in, nothing special was done for the birthday, ie - free dessert, etc. As far as the food, we waited 45 minutes for our meal after appetizers were served. The filet steak was over done and hard as a rock to cut through. The salmon was ordered medium and was over cooked past well done. This would NOT be a restaurant that would deserve our recommendations.
Fabulous food and service. The view was amazing. People at the next table were a little loud but wasn't a total turn-off. We learned an awful lot about them! Definitely not the fault of the restaurant.
Everyone should eat here at least once. It's amazing
