We attended a brunch with Santa so it was a Buffay. That was our first mistake. The omelette station on the lower level was awful. There was supposed to be whipped cream for the French toast but there was none inside and when I asked where it was, I was told that they never had it out, even though it was on the place card. An awful experience all together.
This was our worst experience at the Brunch w/Santa & Fredbird event. We have attended for the last 6 years. The upstairs activities were great as usual. Fredbird was especially awesome this year. Our server was inattentive and informed us that she would prefer a cash tip vice leaving a tip on the card. The food was less diverse than in previous years and was cold as well. The omelette station was a wreck without supplies or items needed for an omelette. Blame it on staffing or Covid, whatever but if you are not going to provide the same quality and level of service as previous years then lower the cost to equal a roadside cafeteria. Which is the level of food served at this brunch in my opinion. Cardinals Nation and the Cardinals organization that was represented fell short this year and was very disappointing.
We attended Brunch with Santa and Fredbird. There were many fun activities for children. However, the buffet in general was not good. The food was cold. The best was the omelet station as this food was cooked to order. Our server went above and beyond by going to the kitchen to warm the gravy and bring fresh biscuits.
We waited for more than 20 minutes after being sat before our server approached our table. He took our drink order, at this time I requested silverware. We waited again for him to get our drinks. We then finally received silverware. Our server was very polite, but I was not very pleased with the service received, especially for the cost.
This was a wonderful event for my whole party of 10 and I will be back next year!
We went 12/5/21 during the Breakfast w/ Santa & Fredbird. The activities for kids was excellent. Both my kids loved it. It was nice getting in to the Hall of Fame with our breakfast purchase. The food was top notch. Service was meh. We got put in a room with 2 very large tables (10+ at each table) and the wait staff couldnt get to us fast enough. At times it felt like the larger parties were their priorities. At one time I hand to go to the bar directly to get refills on our drinks. Not something you like to see when you are paying nearly $40 a person.
The kids loved it! This was a unique experience for the family.
Our outing was the Santa and Fredbird event. The entire experience was outstanding for our grandkids and the adults!!! Please bring this back next year! The food was great and our service was impeccable!! Thank you Cardinal Nation!
Our only complaints were a lack of exterior signage telling where to enter and then not being very handicap accessible when we finally found the door that was open.
The event appears to have started before the common area opened so the only way to enter was from the exterior patio area on the southwest side, which has steps to get to. Our son uses a walker and can climb steps with assistance, but we had to carry his walker up for him. We also noticed many other families wandering around the outside of the building trying to find where we were supposed to enter.
The actual event inside with the activities and brunch were were great. When we left, the common area had opened so we could exit the building on the north side, close to where we parked and without having to go up or down any stairs.
Attended Brunch with Santa and Fredbird. $45 per adult Brunch. Food was great, service could have been better, our server was not very helpful, bottomless Mimosas but no mimosa cups. The bartender was rude.
Overall the experience was good, the kids enjoyed it but a little over priced in my opinion.
It’s just a fun place in a good location with reasonably priced food. We really enjoyed it.
Food was better than I expected drinks wasn't that great that was our purpose for going but service was terrible the place wasn't full of people she took 20 minutes to take our order 25 minutes to bring our drinks 35 minutes to bring food we didn't eat until hour after arrival than orders and checks were messed up in the end

The location is the best! Love the ballpark view, service was great (although hostess was a bit grumpy), and food quite good! Highly recommend!
Cardinals Nation is a very nice restaurant. Our server was fantastic! The only complaint I would have is the grilled cheese was not good at all. Chef should revisit that recipe. Also, I got a regular Bud Light and then asked for a tall and essentially got the same size. Overall a nice meal but couldn’t been better.
Like many restaurants, they are suffering from lack of staff. I felt sorry for our waitress on a Friday night. She had so many tables to handle, and she'd only worked there a month. People roll in from touring Bush Stadium or many of things around that area. But the manager or whatever she was at the front desk told us like three times, "we only have two people on staff right now and you'll have to wait." She was grumpy." Our food, however, was great -- a turkey club on multi-grain toasted bread with a cranberry aioli and all the fixings. Loved it. My hubby had a blackened chicken sandwich, which wasn't very blackened, but the seasonal vegetables with it were great. I just feel sorry for restaurants that can't get help, so I really don't know how they handled the crowd the 4 nights before when the Cubs were in town and people crowd every restaurant in that location. Best of luck to them in finding new help. But with that crabby manager, I don't know why anyone would work there. She needs to smile and be better to those who walk in the door. Explain that you just can't take any more customers at that hour or whatever she can say instead of making people feel like it's their fault they walked into the door.
We went before a Cardinal game. Making the reservation was definitely the right way to go. Those without reservations had to wait up to an hour. Our food was very good.
Our waitress did not ask us once our food was. I had to go ask where my meal was. We had to ask for more drinks. She did not come to the adult end one time, stood by the kids. Extremely poor service
My biggest complaint is that the menu online (everywhere your menu is found!) was not
the menu at restaurant. When I asked the waiter he said its never changed! Yes, it has, I have had several of the items from the online menu that is not there now. We had already
decided on what we were going to have at home and had to rethink everything, we almost left at this point. Everyone in our party swears the server was high. He had some
real problems getting us taken care of which was kind of ridiculous considering how few
people were in the place at the time. The food was pretty good but the cheese curds were
way too spicy for some strange reason. There was nothing pretzel about the pretzel bites
they were just bread balls. It was my sons 21st b-day and just wish it could have been made alittle more special for him instead of the "just OK" that we got.
We had poor service all night. Our server was not very attentive, we had to flag him down when we wanted something, and was bussing the table while we tried to order and would then walk away. He asked us to cash out early because he was leaving and had the wrong items on our tickets. We got the checks taken care of and then we had to ask someone to come wait on our table because no one was reassigned after or serve left. I had a discussion with the replacement server, saying I don’t like walnuts and when a salad was brought out it had walnuts on there. Poor service all the way around.
Every worker there was super crabby and did NOT care about customer service. Speaking of service.. it was AWFUL. Super slow and our food was cold. This was for mine and my brothers 30th birthday and it was honestly the worst experience I’ve had a ballpark village. Then when my husband left his debit card there he called the very next day, spoke with Anthony and they said they would keep his card in the safe until we got there Monday afternoon. We drove from st. Charles to St. Louis to have the very same AWFUL waitress tell us that per policy, his credit card was shredded. UNBELIEVABLE. We will NOT be back.

Prime rib was allright blackened shrimp pasta was lacking flavor biscuits were tough. shrinp was watery cocktail sauce again lacked much flavor. bread pudding overcooked. hashbrowns no very good potatoes were ok and the bacon was great but that dose not justify a 45 dollar brunch the prime rib wasn't even warm. truely disappointed in cardinals nation $100 fir sub par food i could come better at the golden coral. the vote was awsome or server was great. Oh i. left off warm champagne for mimosas.

Very disappointed in the Valentines Sunday brunch for we regularly dine at ballpark Village restaurants and enjoy the food however the Sunday brunch was not close to the usual standards. Choices of food was extremely poor. The beef was severely under cooked and the omelet was poorly prepared and cooked. The Bread pudding was hard and probably prepared a day or two before the brunch. Very disappointed in the very limited choices available. The best item was the shrimp.
This was a fantastic experience. We attended a Valentine's Brunch and I have to say the service was without a doubt the best I have ever received at this restaurant. While the menu could have been more comprehensive and diverse, the presentation, complete with ice sculpture bowls, was perfect. Great job to all!

Service slow overall; had to wait to be seated (one 1 person seating from 2 lines/different locations), server very slow bringing drinks (especially mimosa refills), but did get our daughter a hot cocoa.
The service was horribly slow. There were 30min at a time that we could not find our server & would ask others servers to help us. You had to wait 15-20min for refills on drinks. You had to order bottomless alcohol drinks, wait 15-20min for your server to bring you a glass with alcohol in it, then go to the bar and finish making your drink yourself. Chocolate covered strawberries were advertised as part of the buffet, but you had to ask your server to bring them to you & only 1 per person. The food on the buffet was good quality. Summary: Having made reservations weeks in advance, the event was poorly staffed or poorly planned. I will not be returning, and would not recommend this to my friends and family.

We went enjoy dinner during the Allstar Game and had a poor experience. There were young adults potentially minors intoxicated and falling into our table. One even dropped a drink all over my aunt as we eating a meal. No ids were ever checked of any youth at the bar and no one was cut off and multiple were falling into other patrons and the bar won’t the tables were even close to being full. We won’t be back.
The place was not busy when we arrived however we had to flag down a manager to get a server after waiting 20 mins. After ordering we then had to ask where our bar drinks were since they took forever as well. The server was super sweet and accommodating once she got to us however several tables had people looking around not getting helped.
This visit was for a special holiday event. It was very well planned and executed by the venue and crowd control was innovative and effective. The buffet was very high quality and to value and the service was outstanding.
