Caravan King's Cross
Great service. Really helpful when one of two diners was delayed and time was constrained by having a train to catch. Personable efficient staff, good choice of food and drink. Most importantly great innovative fusion food in decent quantities including deserts. A bit noisy and a little pricey - but I’m a middle-aged northerner so it’s probably me!
This restaurant never disappoints. The food and service are great.
Only go to this restaurant if you like to shout to be heard. The tables are quite deep so that makes the problem worse. Service fun, though food feeling a bit tired in comparison with, say, the Coal Office.
We found a reasonable selection of vegan/plant based dished so happy with that. My partner and I shared a pizza, which was a good size, very tasty (lots of garlic) and really good base. We also shared 2 small plates, which were less impressive - not so tasty and small for the price. The vegan chocolate desert was also quite average. My water kefir was lovely though.
Overall though, the buzzing atmosphere, music, service and the food made a good evening.
Thankyou for a really lovely dinner. Our first server was fabulous. I would have appreciated them being a little more attentive to our empty glasses. The server who bought the bill was somewhat brusque....
Fabulous food xx
Edamame beans dry and old, flat bread unpleasant blah blah blah
Staff were attentive, friendly and on-the-ball. Drink selection was somewhat odd - I expected the mango and lime kefir to be like kefir but it was not milky and more like kombucha. The turmeric lemon ginger tea was also a peculiar taste and I couldn’t finish it. We had a portion of main lunch food each which was enough to leave room for dessert. I had the sea bass with red curry and found it tasty but a bit too salty for my liking and difficult to eat due to all the spiralised vegetables. The desserts were innovative - I loved the chocolate delice but couldn’t stand the lime mousse which was sickly sweet when all I wanted was something refreshing. All in all interesting and different felt but quite expensive for what we had.
Cool place but the music is quite loud in the front section at night.
Food is tasty, definitely get a pizza they are delicious. Drinks are pricey enough for a casual restaurant.
Our first two food choices were not available and the waiter stood over me as I hurriedly chose a third option. Feeling pressurised we didn't stay long.. Unable to converse unless shouting and the chap seated next to us was clearly happy to do so. Similar food options available everywhere, no need to go here unless you must.
I love caravan. It’s perfect for networking meetings, brunch with a group or a Mums met ups. Food is great. Staff are amazing. I am here at least once a week. Xxx 6 stars
Great atmosphere on a Saturday at 6pm. Friendly fast service and delicious food. A casual fun night out.
Very noisy. Over excessive terms and conditions for group dining. Sharing feast menu good but why sharing when you could serve set menu choices.
Only downside was no pancakes
Good food, Great service. There was a buzz in the place.
I love this place! It’s great for a catch up with friends, can get quite noisy but the ambiance is great. It’s also good if you’re trying to eat healthily - lots of choice and interesting combinations!
Wonderful as always. Been here many times before, and each time the staff are incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is lively with not too much noise and the food is consistently made to a high standard.
Business meeting, great place nice food. Only the rice let them down a bit, not very well cooked unfortunately. The fish curry was amazing!
Katie F. hosted us perfectly with the nicest smile you can get in London. We are defo coming back.
Unfortunately i ordered the overnight oats for breakfast and they were a bit fizzy.... which was disappointing!
I like the laid back vibe, the service was attentive with the staff being friendly and knowledgable. However, I cannot give full marks to food. It was OK but not great or anything special that I would go back specifically.
Good service and we’ll cooked food with unusual twist
Great food, great atmosphere. Good service overall. Had a lovely birthday celebration.
Great food, service, atmosphere and varied options on the menu for all types diets. Ideal for eating with a friend, group of friends and or family. Will definitely be back!
Best fusian and well priced food in london hands down trust i eat everywhere , this place consistently bangs out amazing service after service 11/10 for the 5th experience now
Your food is often imaginative and good (although not every dish is equally good) but we find the noise levels in your restaurant really impossible. The acoustic already amplifies diners conversations, but you add very loud music with a loud beat which makes the experience unpleasantly stressful.
CUT OUT the music, or at least, play music which doesn't have a head-banging beat, and do something to absorb the clanging acoustic.
Interesting food choices and wine list looking solid . Recommended in area which has a lot of restaurants .
But really need to train waiters to a) ask their guests if they want to taste the wine first , b) not to attempt to pour half the bottle into the glass , usually a cheap trick to get you to buy more and c ) if white wine then a cooler is not an optional extra , oh and finally if your drinking an artisan cold beer putting it into a glass that’s just come out of the dishwasher is self defeating
When we arrive to Caravan there was a mistake with our reservation and there were no tables available, nevertheless the staff was amazing and attentive and did everything to solve the problem as fast as possible. All in all the experience was amazing
Lovely restaurant, good food and good service. As a vegan, there are plenty of options for me to try. My option this time was full of chilli (the broccoli bowl) - a bit much (and I like spicy food)! Despite this, I would return, it’s a lovely restaurant.
Delicious food, helpful staff. Music and background noise level did make it perhaps a little too loud but generally we had a great lunch. Very helpful with baby and buggy also.
Great coffee - easy to find and would go again.
Another flawless visit despite it being very busy. Love the jalepeno corn bread and roasted cauliflower.
Very disappointing visit this time!
Food just ok, felt we were being rushed throughout our meal. Asked by 4 different waiting staff if we wanted to order desert!
Very cold, drafty table - Next to door, we ate with our coats on!!!!!
Made reservation 2 months ago- not a walk in!
Very modern and vibrant restaurant. Imaginative menu and good value. Everyone who worked there seemed to be professional and friendly. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Fantastic restaurant.
Perfect! Very good and tasty
Love it and I will come back
The pizza was burned and the server did nothing about it.
Some of the tapas were just to hot (spicy) to eat.
Team Xmas do. Fantastic food and ambience. Can’t wait to return.
Birthday - food was amazing and staff were great , it was busy so a little slow but otherwise great experience
The food was absolutely delicious and the setting and service were delightful! We had a beautiful meal and will return again soon. Thank you.
We had a table for 2 at lunchtime. Our server was wonderful! Energetic, helpful and polite. We had 5 small plates which were all delicious. It was very lively with lunchtime diners and a very large table celebrating Xmas but it was fine and the noise level didn’t stop us being able to talk. Service was impeccable with both drinks and food arriving quickly. Would definitely recommend
Helpful staff, lots of vegan choices, tasty food. Great buzz and energy but didn't detract from the conversation.
Delicious dinner, we had the crispy cod and Stilton parcels to share as a starter, then pizza and the chicken salad for the mains. Very smooth bottle of Malbec to accompany the meal.
Attentive staff, made sure our glasses were topped up and chatted about our plans for the evening. Would recommend.
