CARAVAN IS A RESTAURANT, BAR AND COFFEE ROASTERY LOCATED ON A BUSY SITE IN FARRINGDON’S EXMOUTH MARKET. WITH GLAZED FRONTAGE ON TWO SIDES OF THE BUILDING, OVERLOOKING THE MARKET AND A BUSTLING LONDON INTERSECTION, THE SPACE HAS AN OPEN AND RELAXED FEEL TO IT. AT MARKET LEVEL WE HAVE CREATED A MAIN DINING ROOM SEATING 48 AND A BAR SEATING 18. IN WARMER MONTHS WE OPEN OUR BI-FOLD DOORS AND LET THE MARKET IN, SEATING A FURTHER 30 OUTSIDE. THE BASEMENT HOUSES OUR KITCHEN AND COFFEE ROASTERY, AND INCLUDES OUR ROASTERY TABLE THAT IS AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE HIRE FOR UP TO 12 GUESTS.
The food at Caravan is well travelled. We use seasonal ingredients to create dishes that draw influence and flavours from around the world. Our food is served from three menus – breakfast (weekdays), brunch (weekends) and our all day lunch and dinner menu which is made up of small and large plates designed for sharing.

Caravan Exmouth Market Ratings and Reviews
Unfortunately the restaurant called 3hours before to say they had a problem with the electrics and so no hot food available! We were booked in the Exmouth market venue. They did offer to transfer us to the City venue, so all was okay - but it was a much more corporate feel.
Also they advertise a fantastic Festive Feast platter - but this is only for groups or 8+ and needs to be ordered 24hrs in advance. This is not clear on their website.
Otherwise great meal!
Lovely atmosphere, good service but very very disappointing food. I ordered Secreto Iberico and the dish was cold and extremely spicy. The cheese board wasn't great either(poor quality of the cheese)...
I wouldn't recommend it for a drink/cocktail but definitely not for food.
I like Caravan and the food is excellent. However, the portion sizes are unpredictable and you never know whether you will leave hungry. The staff are lovely and all very trendy - but not particularly adept at being in the service industry. Our hate glasses were filled up at 5 minute intervals but we had to ask for everything else. Maybe put down the water jug and actually get on with serving people things they are actually paying for! That said, the food is great and if the service was a bit better and the portion sizes a little more generous it could be really excellent.
Busy restaurant - interesting menu and well presented food. My main issue was that it was so loud - everyone had to strain to make themselves heard which was not helped by a layer of music that was just more noise to shout over. I'd go again but only if I thought it would be less full and somewhat quieter.
We were all very impressed with Caravan! The service was slick but not intrusive, the menu was interesting and catered for all of us with various tastes, the quality of food ( and drink!) was excellent and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. It was busy and therefore noisy, but not in a way that bothered us or stopped us having our conversation. Top tip- try the espresso martinis.
We are already planning on visiting the other venues..
We had a range of small plates from the eclectic food menu and enjoyed the varied flavour combinations. We were happy to have served as they were ready, rather than all together, as suggested. Made the most of the dry weather and sat outside to enjoy an Aperol Spritz and the food. Buzzy, urban atmosphere with a friendly welcome and pretty efficient service.
Went there with friends after Sadlers Wells. As a coffee shop with food, I wasn't sure what to expect and I was not disappointed with the range and quality of the menu.
Everything was delicious and the small plates meant you could try a lot within being stuffed.
Good location, the ambiance in the place is great - the low lighting adding to a cosy feel.
Food wise - I had the lamb meatball main, which was really nice and came with some healthy sides, something that's always nice to see... All of it was super tasty and well cooked.
Definitely worth coming here if you're with friends.
