Very nice meal. Service was great. Not rushed had a nice evening.
We had a very pleasant experience. The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal.
The service was horrible . Mary Rose the waitress we had was rude , didn’t smile , no personality . She had the attitude as if she did not want to be there.
She was so bad my husband which he never does asked to speak to the manger on our way out . The manger instead of saying she is sorry we experienced that, I will speak with her. She was making excuses for Mary Roses horrific behavior.
It was real nice. Everything on time time. Waiters ever pleasant. Great place for first date. Will return.
We've been going to Captain Bills for 40 years. We still enjoy going there every once in awhile. The food remains consistent. Thank you for a great meal always.
Our server was terrible. She never replied “you are welcome” or uttered a sound for the few times she did actually come to our table. Dropped food, never checked back. Then gave a smile when it was time to pay and leave a tip.
Food was mediocre. The mashed potatoes on my husband’s plate were so salty he couldn’t eat them but our server never came over so he just ate around it. Fish was good. Felt a bit like wedding food.
Drinks were not great. We skipped dessert because we just wanted to leave at that point.
For the bill of $150 incl tip it was not worth it. Shame this place used to be really good
The food was not good. Brunch buffet was not hot and was bland. The place a vibe of a old folks rehab center and the food fit right in as if it was a rehab center. By Coffee was lukewarm, mimosa was a light splash of champagne and weak oj, served with ice cubes. All of the hot buffet wasn’t hot. The omelette station ran out of cheese and my wife’s egg white omelette was not egg white but regular. The servers were attentive and polite.
We are recurring patrons . We had the crust duck . Amazing and you have to have the French onion soup perfect and my wife had the clam chowder . Excellent night our
Been there 4 times very good
Always great service and delicious food. Now with outdoor tables.
Great food, amazing drink specials and wonderful service!
The food is great we eat off the Octoberfest menu The service was great and the view of the boats
Server was very pleasant and competent. Food was good and they didn’t rush us.
We enjoyed the October fest menu. Also our server was very good.
Our server, Dylan, was very friendly. The food was very good as usual.
Had a lovely lunch there with a friend. the waitress was awesome, friendly and on top of everything, didn't rush us. Would go back!
Captain Bill’s has been a mainstay for us, and it was our first time back since the pandemic. The menu was not their complete menu, but there were varied choices from which to choose. The staff was welcoming and attentive on a busy Monday night. They are one of the few in the area that are open on Mondays. It was a lively anniversary dinner experience.
Valet attendant very nice. Seated right away and given a nice table with view. Disappointed we were not able to sit outside. The buffet isn’t very appealing. Eggs in Eggs Benedict were very undercooked and the shrimp were slightly undercooked. Omelet was good. Desserts also just fair. Surprised we were not offered coffee/tea to go with dessert.
I love Capt Bills.
We arrived more then 30 mins early for our reservation and they seated us right away
Food was exceptional.
Will go back again
Horseradish encrusted grouper was lacking the horseradish. No flavor. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant out of a box, watery. Small portions. Seafood tower was fair at best, asked for horseradish for cocktail sauce and was told they did not have any? How did they make the grouper? Wedding next door got all the horseradish?
I haven’t been to Captain Bill’s in many years and I was pleasantly surprised after that major renovation, the food was amazing and good drink specials. The staff was very attentive and I will certainly come back
Ambiance was superb. Food was excellent. Service was very good.
We had a seat outside on the water and it was an exceptionally comfortable event. We were not rushed. The food was excellent and we got to see the rising of a Harvest Moon over the water so the evening was a complete success!
The atmosphere is amazing with a nice view of the communities fleet of boats. The service is always above board. We both has seafood and it was outstanding. Lobster bisque. Broiled seafood platter and linguine with crab, lobster and shrimp.
The server Gail took time to ensure we were enjoying our evening.
Food was great.. the cocktails just right and dessert to die for!!!!
We love Captain Bill's. My only request is to have a chicken dish option for landlubbers. I do not eat seafood and only choice is steak or sandwiches. Thank you!
Service was excellent.
The Filet was a little over cooked for medium rare.
The stuffed flounder was delicious.
It was our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We both had Linguine with Lobster and Shrimp. It was delicious and the portion was large. Our view of the boats was just beautiful. It was a lovely way to celebrate! We never had a bad meal at Captain Bills.
It was just ok. Nothing outstanding. Nothing to complain. It was ok
I had the chopped wedge salad to start, while my wife and our friends started with the French Onion Soup. For our Main course, my wife and I had the luncheon Salmon special which was nicely plated. Our friends had the Broiled Fisherman’s Platter. I didn’t see any leftovers on their plates.
Excellent food, very busy on Saturday night, had to wait awhile for food. Entree was served before we finished our appetizer. We have been there many, many times, but never on Saturday night so didn't anticipate the longer wait for food.
Highly recommend this restaurant, but maybe not for a Saturday night in the summer, on the water. Yes we had a reservation. Will definitely be back during the week. Their seafood is excellent! If you are looking for a nice restaurant with table cloths, good food and nice atmosphere this is your place. They don't rush you out, either.
We always have a wonderful experience whenever we go to Captain Bills. If it's a lunch, brunch dinner or wedding we all enjoy going there.
Waited one hour for meal to be served.
Everything was absolutely incredible
The entire meal was better than i expected. The desert was amazing
Great view food good. Service mediocre.
Quality seafood dishes that are delicious and opportunities to dine outside are +++. Very popular so do make sure you get a reservation!
We got a great table outside. Beautiful evening. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was delicious and plated well.
