Surpassed my expectations- loved the atmosphere - excellent waitstaff - food was very good
The food was pretty good, service not super attentive. The people next to us appeared to be regulars because the staff kept coming over to them and talking so loud the whole time. I also noted it was our anniversary and didn’t feel like there was any special treatment. In fact I was annoyed most of the time because the staff wouldn’t stop laughing and talking with the guests next to us. It was rude and really distracting. We couldn’t even hear each other talk.

We enjoy a good meal out. We had the duck, which was especially dry, the steak Diane, delish, and the veal parmigiana which was good. For the price, there are many others that are much better. We were disappointed.
The cocktails have really increased in price☹️! $28.45 for a single malt scotch and $19.75 for a blended scotch!!!
Had Lobster in the cream sauce pasta dish and the lobster was chewy and didn’t seem fresh. My girlfriend had the chicken and it was very dry. We didn’t complain at the time but for our bill of $200, we expected better

our waiter must have been new. He was terrible. Disappeared for very lon lengths of time. Appetizers came out fine but entrees took an hour so we ended up taking to go. Lamb was raw so we had to re cook at home. Wine by the glass tasted like box wine. We won’t be back.
Anniversary dinner with family and friends. Excellent service, food and several special touches by restaurant. We had a wonderful tume and experience.

We’ve been enjoying the exceptional food, service and ambiance of this Providence treasure for over 30 years. Even during a pandemic they manage to offer the same incredible experience.
Wedding anniversary dinner on a very quiet Tuesday evening. Complimentary valet parking in a city area with very limited spots was a great start.
Seating was well spaced out in this very elegant restaurant, fully adhering to COVID guidelines.
Very extensive menu, largely Italian and made to original Italian recipes rather than American adaptations plus some classical steak options. Also offering a fixed price, limited menu as an extension of restaurant week.
Food was excellent - took advantage of having hard-to-find escargot appetizer (which is not for everyone!) and baked oysters. Entrees were a seafood variety with black pasta ribbons and a tuna, capers, and olive pasta special .. both were delicious and focused on quality rather than quantity. Desert was crepe suzette with fruit flambéd at the table.
Our waiter, Michael, was very attentive, helpful, and provided great service.
It was nice to see one of the more established and elegant restaurants still doing an outstanding job!

I had requested twice a table by the fireplace and was assured I would have it for our special occasion only to arrive to no such table. A short apology .... very upsetting.

My first experience there was a complete success ! We had a party of four that went to celebrate my birthday and I have to say from the ambiance to the food to our server everything was top-notch ! My steak was so tender you didn't even need a knife to cut it and the other three diners in our party loved their dinners too. Our server brought me out a little round cake to celebrate my birthday which I thought was very sweet of him. A five-star experience and I can't wait to go back. Thank you

The food was not good and it wasn’t presented well
Pretty disappointing experience. Made a 8:15pm reservation for 3/6/21. We were sat a few minutes early which was nice. Our waiter, John, was friendly and even fixed a drink that had been made poorly by the bartender. The food was good and we both enjoyed our meals. The biggest issue we had was that when I told, John, that we were upset that some person half way across the room was FaceTiming and so was her date, he did nothing! I even said, you need to get a manager to tell that couple to knock it off. FaceTiming in a supposedly “upscale” restaurant is not appropriate and in fact, it was downright, rude! Nothing was said, probably because the management had no control. I was one of five customers who shook their head in disgust. Once their food arrived, they did put the phones down momentarily to eat. Lastly, my girlfriend and I asked for the bill. John the waiter brought it. Another waiter or Manager smashed into John wiping out a whole glass of Red Wine on his white shirt. It took almost 25 minutes to pay the bill because they were arguing and cleaning up the mess. Just a disaster! This place was once a great restaurant where they took pride in the service. The Management needs to take control of the staff and patrons and make it run right.
It was my wife’s birthday and the restaurant was very busy, noisy and the service was very slow . The poor waiter had vocal cord issues and was horse: we couldn’t hear half of what he said . We sat at the table for nearly 3 hrs . Everyone’s meal was good however my veal saltimbocco was below average. Having lived in Naples for a few years I don’t mind sitting at a table for a few hours but this was not that enjoyable. Not to mentioned my limousine waited an extra hour for us !!$$$$
