Capriccio Ristorante - Pembroke Pines Ratings and Reviews
Recommended by two different friends; our first time there. Awesome experience. We drove there from West Kendall to enjoy dinner with friends who live in Pembroke Pines. Easy Parking, great decor and atmosphere. Piano player play soft easy lovely italian and american music. Violinist came in later. Both were great. Service was outstanding. When I asked where the restroom was, our waiter said, "I'll take you there" - most places "point" directionally. Our waiter, Matthew, was very attentive, polite and courteous. One of the most attentive waiters we have ever had. He is the waiter we shall ask for when we return. Great menu and wine list. I had the lobster thermidor which was fantastic and delicious. Took part home and will have for dinner tonight. Wife was very pleased with her red snapper. Others had pasta with clams and loved that too. We had mussels (white wine sauce) and fried calamari for shared appetizers. Delicious and plentiful. Cab wine was great. Chocolate Torte and the Tiramisu desserts fantastic. Their house salad which comes with entries excellent too. This is a wonderful italian experience. I am italian and a self taught creative chef. Capriccio's is authentic and enjoyable.
My husband and I started dining at Capriccio when it opened 30 years ago, when we lived in Hollywood. We have since moved south and it is still well worth the drive. The veal chop is perfectly prepared every time; the Osso Buco will melt in your mouth; the artichoke is a must. A very reasonably priced wine list; classy but not stuffy atmosphere; attentive staff; and live music. Five stars in every way!
The food is delicious. Any veal dish is excellent. Superior service. The house Chianti and Pinot Noir was excellent. Great live piano. An attentive member of the wait staff noticed we exchanged anniversary gifts. A desert was brought and the kitchen wrote Happy Anniversary in chocolate! A nice touch!
Always has been a family favorite local restaurant.
Generally very good food prepared well but was slightly disappointed with veal buffalina on this visit.
Service is always attentive and the live music is always fun and well done.
Definitely a top neighborhood spot.
Happy place - fantastic food
We visited for the first time and felt transported by the fun music and roving violinist .
Full bar and fun cocktails with yummy appetizer and generous main dish servings
We tried traditional veal dishes and stuffed artichoke
Friendly attentive service and visits by the lovely co owner Karen to ensure all going well.
We'll be sure to return :)
This was our first time dining here. The restaurant went beyond our expectations! It felt like just in Italy! The veal with shrimp in a garlic and wine sauce was out of this world. Also the pasticcio lasagna was superb. The wine selection is ample and reasonably priced with plenty of options from different Italian regions and California’s as well. The ambiance is great; cozy and nicely decorated. Staff went out of their way to pamper us. Excellent service and cuisine! A must place to visit. I’ll become a regular now that I found this gem in town!
We had reservations but they sat us in the bar at a table that looked like they just squeezed it in. The server must not have known because he did not show up with menus for almost 10 minutes. The people sitting next to us left just as their food came. They had been waiting close to an hour. Our food came out in 20 minutes. It was delicious. I had the seafood risotto and she had the chicken parm. This was the first time we had bad service in about a dozen visits, but we over heard one of the bus boys saying something about a party of seventy that our waiter was taking care of. The food is so good that we will be back to dine there again.
