Capriccio Ristorante - Pembroke Pines Ratings and Reviews
This is a nice place and I have dined there before. Disappointed that I had a reservation and waited 20 minutes before the worst table was made available to me. Service was average and the waiter challenged me on using my wine strainer saying it wasn’t needed. I had to ask 3 times before he relented. Everything was average and while I was happy to see that the place was busy, I wouldn’t go back. The owners were so indifferent that I had to wait. Not a great experience on a Saturday night, maybe better to go during the week when it’s not so crowded.
There are dozens of Italian restaurants in Broward County. Maybe hundreds! This ranks at the top. From helpful, professional waiters to huge portions...from pasta cooked perfectly to sides and extras that come with each meal...all perfect. We heard that it would be crowded on the weekend so we went during the week. Not as busy, but I am sure the waiters don’t skimp on attention at any time. Veal, chicken and pasta dishes. Bone in ribeye that made a dainty lady eat from the bone!! We’ll be back!!!
Ambience was Amazing, something that you could not tell from the main road. Immediately impressed with the look and feel of the restaurant. Very professional servers and busboys etc. They really took their job seriously. Live music playing in the background, drinks were great, food was good presentation even better. Really enjoyed it, will be returning.
We've been coming here for over 20 years and never have had a bad meal or unpleasant experience. We usually come for special occasions and in large groups and no one we've brought here has every had a single complaint. The food and service are top notch and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the cuisine. Capriccio's is truly one of a kind.
We have gone to Capriccio for years: dinner, Birthday parties, anniversaries but this is the first time we ever went for Christmas. We were a little nervous about it being a big holiday and the menu. They had their regular menu and a special one and as usual their food was great and consistent. 25 years and they have never disappointed us and their service is always exceptional especially our favorite Mario.
We have always wanted to try this restaurant and ended up needing a last minute reservation on Christmas Eve.
The food was great.
I was delighted to find lighter options. It wasn’t all red sauce and cheese.
Everyone loved their options
My son was a little disappointed they didn’t have cheese filled gnocchi
Superior traditional Italian dining, with some dishes not commonly found. Food perfectly prepared. Service was a bit hit and miss at beginning, but we arrived at the start of service, improved markedly later on.
Enjoyed my glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The veal chop was perfectly prepared, seared on outside and tender. Also liked the broccoli rabe as additional side.
Some substitutions allowed.
Recommended by two different friends; our first time there. Awesome experience. We drove there from West Kendall to enjoy dinner with friends who live in Pembroke Pines. Easy Parking, great decor and atmosphere. Piano player play soft easy lovely italian and american music. Violinist came in later. Both were great. Service was outstanding. When I asked where the restroom was, our waiter said, "I'll take you there" - most places "point" directionally. Our waiter, Matthew, was very attentive, polite and courteous. One of the most attentive waiters we have ever had. He is the waiter we shall ask for when we return. Great menu and wine list. I had the lobster thermidor which was fantastic and delicious. Took part home and will have for dinner tonight. Wife was very pleased with her red snapper. Others had pasta with clams and loved that too. We had mussels (white wine sauce) and fried calamari for shared appetizers. Delicious and plentiful. Cab wine was great. Chocolate Torte and the Tiramisu desserts fantastic. Their house salad which comes with entries excellent too. This is a wonderful italian experience. I am italian and a self taught creative chef. Capriccio's is authentic and enjoyable.
My husband and I started dining at Capriccio when it opened 30 years ago, when we lived in Hollywood. We have since moved south and it is still well worth the drive. The veal chop is perfectly prepared every time; the Osso Buco will melt in your mouth; the artichoke is a must. A very reasonably priced wine list; classy but not stuffy atmosphere; attentive staff; and live music. Five stars in every way!
