Capriccio Grill Peabody Hotel - Memphis
Lunch in Capriccio Grill offers a more casual menu of modern Southern comfort favorites and daily specials.
Severely overpriced. Subpar food. Menu seems limited.
Food was average quality, not worthy of the price. Service was very slow considering only a few tables were occupied. Server would disappear for long periods without checking in on us.
Great brunch food was delicious and service was excellent.
Waited for 45 minutes without seeing waitress with empty drinks. Then another 20 minutes after asking for check. Restaurant was not crowded at all. Saw manager around but never checked on our table or the couple next to us who was also craning their necks looking for someone to bring the check. Sweet an apologetic waitress but I expect much better service for the reputation and price of this restaurant.
The caeser salad and mussels both lacked flavour. Wine was very pricey. But our server was lovely and very attentive.
Would probably not go back here for dinner but go for happy hour in bar.
The food and service were superb!! We were impressed.
Great experience. Quite a delay with our drinks and food, but it was outstanding!
More managers than staff. Fabulous food. If they could do more to make dinner patrons comfortable (maybe tablecloths at night) it would be a much better experience
We booked for breakfast as we are at the Peabody Hotel to see the famous duck parade! The breakfast buffet was excellent and the service very good.
Great Sunday brunch. Something for everyone
Had Caprese salad. 6 oz filet, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and warm molten Godiva chocolate cake. Food was freshly made, fillets cooked as ordered, and served at appropriate temperature. Delicious. The server Bobby did a good job.
Very slow service. I was not impressed with the menu. The food was mediocre. Not what one would expect inside such a nice hotel.
Everything was perfect. I had the Peabody pot pie and it was scrumptious! Husband had the New York strip and said it was the best he's had. We shard The Dream dessert and happy to know that the proceeds benefits St.Jude Children's.
Brunch was excellent. Better than I remembered.
This restaurant was much better the last time I visited, a few years ago. There was very few people there, the service was poor, the food was mediocre. I would not recommend to someone wanting a high quality dinner in Memphis.
The food was very good and the chef is agreeable to modifications based on customer needs. The service and ambience were not quite up to expectations given the price of the meal. All menu items are ala cart.
We loved the deviled eggs! Definitely had that southern hospitality.
It was a wonderful birthday brunch! Everyone enjoyed the wonderful food!!
I was there with my sister and my 6 year old granddaughter. Lovely restaurant and my granddaughter enjoyed her grilled cheese but the French fries were too spicy and she would not eat them. Your soup and salad bar was one of the worst I have ever had the displeasure of ordering and trying to eat. A true disappointment!!
Lovely meal in beautiful surroundings. Attentive service.
Excellent experience for a romantic date night with my husband. The restaurant was quiet, even with other guests around us. The service was on point, every staff member was professional, helpful and attentive. The food was amazing, perfectly prepared and presented. My only regret, we didn't save room for dessert.
Hubby’s Bday Weekend
It was splendid, food was sublime and the staff was very friendly
It was perfect for our 45th anniversary. Everyone acknowledged our anniversary. The food was delicious. Especially enjoyed our waitress, Emily. Such a sincerely nice person.
The food was excellent! We love the Peabody, and the Capriccio did not disappoint. It was a very busy night, so the server had some difficulty getting back to check on us regularly. Other than that, I would highly recommend this restaurant. I look forward to eating there again.
Understaffed. We were seated promptly and given water but it took 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. Then it took 35 minutes to get our food. My filet was overcooked.
My group picked this restaurant after we could not get into another restaurant after the Hamilton play at the Orpheum Theater . We were able to go online and book reservations for our chosen time with ease. We we were seated immediately upon arrival and they had a pre-event theater dinner menu that was excellent. we were able to pick from three different entrees and it included a five course meal. It was my first time eating at this restaurant and I will do it again every time I am downtown at the Orpheum!
Very pleasant dining experience, enjoyed 2 meals there and were outstanding.
Service was outstanding. Our server, Emily, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Food and drinks were great and I have to recommend the blueberry mojito.
Great place we just happened to be next to a table with 3 little kids, kinda took away from a nice romantic night out.
I got the special with included a salad, Flank Steak, and dessert. The Flank steak had a good flavor, however, they needed to put tenderizer on the steak to make it not be so tough. Also, the bed of rice that the steak came on was very bland. There were no salt or pepper shakers on the table to flavor it up.
Chicken pot pie was indeed famous. The tables could have used table cloths
Pre Orpheum dinner with friends. Food was delicious. Service impeccable. Can’t ask for more
Crab cakes were delicious and service very nice. It was a quiet Monday evening, so kind of empty but still we enjoyed it.
We love to take our visitors to experience the brunch. Food and service is always great.
This was the most amazing brunch. We were thrilled with the service and had such a lovely experience. I only wish it was offered Saturdays as well
Fabulous experience. Food was outstanding, a couple weaknesses but to be expected with a brunch buffet. Service was very sold and a great feel in the setting. Took daughter to see Duck walk and then brunch, she had a great time. Recommend without hesitation everything at the Peobody.
Rose our waitress was awesome and very friendly. We usually come with a group of 8, but we were celebrating my birthday which is on July 3.
The participants ranged from 23 years old to 94. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was what one would expect from a great restaurant
Great experience as always at Capriccio. The Sunday brunch is amazing and made me wife’s birthday very special. They even gave a stuffed duck to my son and he was thrilled. We’ll be back again soon.
