Was very dark but overall amazing
All of the waitstaff, were friendly and gave us excellent service. There was 11 in our party, it was a very nice experience.
Every thing was fantastic .Great service and food will be back soon.
First our waiter was very nice but had too many tables and service was fair at best, had mussels as an app cold and tasteless, dinner was better at least it was hot trying to get grated cheese and drink refills was a challenge. In fairness to our waiter he had 2 parties of 6 and 4 parties of 2 going at the same time.
food was good, but nothing special. service was a little slow even though restaurant wasnt that busy. although they didnt charge us for it they messed up on two of the orders. especially my daughters. she has food allergies and they still put cheese on her order. apologies were given by management. when we got home my wife checked her left over salad that she took home there was a black latex glove underneath lettuce. how that happened??? I would not take the forty five minute drive to go there again. however if I was in the area I may consider going there again.
Dinner was great. Felt bad for waiter. Looked like he was the only waiter working. Even still he was very attentive. Good worker. Your lucky you have him
I had the chicken picatta and my friend had a chicken, broccoli, ziti dish, both were very tasty and authentic Italian. The bread and the sundried tomato spread was outstanding. We split a small ceasar salad which was plenty for two. And the tiramisu martini is amazing!
Great food and service. Trivia is always fun . Half priced apps as well
Very night dinner, wonderful young man waiter. Cold night out us right next to toasty warm fire. It
Was warm and cozy
This was our first experience at this restaurant. Upon entering we were in awe of how warm and welcoming it was. This is one of those “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” moments. The nicely appointed dining room was beautifully decorated. The food was abundant and phenomenal! Our server although very nice and professional and attentive initially, he left us for long periods of time with not even so much as walking by to see if we needed drink refills, which we did need. We will be back again and suggest others give it a try! We were very impressed.
Service was very slow, food just okay. Not going to rush to go back anytime soon.
Anniversary celebration. It was so nice at Capri!
I had my birthday dinner at Capri and it was excellent! The service and food was great as always.
Capri is consistently great! Food is always outstanding, atmosphere is very nice, love the separate rooms with fireplaces (but please move the table in front of the fireplace so other tables can enjoy it!). Never a complaint, always yummy. Owner Kathleen is awesome!..... oh, those specialty martinis :)
My husband and I went for dinner prior to a show. The waitress was overwhelmed with tables. We were greeted at our table ten minutes after arriving with water. Our meal was mediocre. The bolognese looked like cream sauce with a spattering of "meat". Bolognese is a hearty meal or should be. The veal saltimbocca did not have much flavor and the pasta tasted like paste. The restaurant is pretty but unfortunately a place we will not be returning.
Seated promptly. First drink order fast then much slower for remainder of time there. Food outstanding, seemed short staffed.
My pasta was so watery Inhad to drain it on my brea to drain in my bread plate.
Lasagne was too cheesy and stringy - difficult to eat.
A few really good dishes, some forgettable.
Drinks, same story.
Very good service.
Everything is always great. My wife and I have come back many times, we have had group gatherings. The food is always great and the service is consistent.
great place for romantic great wine and food and service
We had a great meal with wonderful service and a beautiful atmosphere. We will definitely go back soon!
Excellent dinner with friends, thanks for seated in quiet area despite dance party. And manager, Kathleen is delightful as always.
Very pleased. Our waitress May Lou was extremely accommodating. The hostess was friendly; in fact all employees were very nice.
Salad bar was so fresh and the portions plentiful.
Our party of 8 all enjoyed and will return
We had a great dinner. Very affordable and the service was great. We would definitely go back!
Food delicious and nicely priced. Server was very nice and had nice personality. The food and drinks came out slow and not consistently all together for the table, but we were not in a hurry so not a big deal.
Great bread and dip, pretty place with fireplaces, food was great.
We were 6 women dining before a show. I was excited to get Bolognese , but disappointed in the taste,,,,sort of sweet. The worst part of our dining experience was trying to pay the waitress..... four had credit cards and 2 cash. She overcharged 2 of the CC's a LOT !!!. Now, we were late for the show, so we left the extra monies. She should have asked if we wanted separate checks, knowing that women usually pay separately. She said it was our fault for not asking. All in all, not a good experience.
We had a 5:30 reservation and got there early, we felt rushed from the time we sat, ordered a appetizer and through the entire meal. I get it it was a Saturday night but there were plenty of tables available while we were there. I'll have to think long and hard about returning.
The beet salad appetizer was the best I've ever had and a huge portion. Our server, Glenn, was the best!
Great food before show at Blue Ocean yummy food and lemon cake
Always wonderful food and great service. The GM - Kathleen makes every guest feel special. Betsy makes the best drinks and our server Danielle made the evening a celebration for us and our granddaughter.
Always a great meal, wonderful wait staff, and beautiful setting and atmosphere. A must before Blue Ocean concerts!
I feel compelled to report in..went with friends before a show next door..reservations at 7..show was at 9. Unfortunately we didn’t ever get a chance to eat. We had some salad..which I regretfully didn’t finish so I wouldn’t spoil my dinner..but dinner never made it. It was a first for us..so paid for drinks and apps and left hungry..we did give our server the heads up about the show..she was very sweet..but couldn’t make our food appear any quicker..we did better than some who never got their apps! Oh well..good thing we were seeing comedy.
We were treated with respect and kindness the minute we walked in. The seats closest to the fireplaces in two areas were full but we were given a table in front of the 3rd fireplace and it was a beautiful setting. The service was great and complete and did not lack for attention to us. All our needs were met and the food was very good. Proportions a little robust for a lot of people I think. I ate all of mine but the two with me took theirs home. The ambiance is great as the tables are not so close together you are sitting on top of one another which can happen in a lot of Italian style restaurants. I would be more than happen to recommend the Capri to my friends and certainly we will be back! Keep up the great work!!
The food was very good and all the people at our table enjoyed their meals. The staff was very accommodating and sat us at a table vs. booth as requested. They even allowed us to bring in a cake to celebrate my sister’s birthday.
The only very small issue we had was the lighting. It was very dark! I like ambient lighting for atmosphere, but a few of us couldn’t read the menus!
Poor communication between waitstaff and kitchen. Limited menu. Food was not as good as other Italian restaurant's in this price range. Perhaps it would be better for pizza and drinks in the bar area.
Wonderful restaurant. Food was great! Waitress was helpful and pleasant. Defnately go again. Next time for Sunday for meatball palooza
My wife and I ate here for the first time on a Saturday night. It was October, so the beach crowd is gone and the restaurant was mostly locals I gather. The inside of the restaurant is cozy and clean with multiple gas fireplaces which add to the ambiance. We didn’t sit at the bar, but it looked good sized and was busy.
Our waitress was very nice and service was excellent. The wine choices were limited, but certainly adequate for complementing Italian dishes. The bread came with a dipping sauce that was very tasty. We split the chef recommended salad as an app. It was very fresh and had the perfect amount of dressing. Both of our meals were very good for standard Italian fare (chicken Marsala and chicken Saltimbocca). We ordered a side of broccolini which was a little salty, but still delicious.
Overall, we would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone for an very affordable and pleasant dinner.
Our food was delicious and our server was wonderful. Timely and attentive - he made sure we made it to the show on time!
