Courteous, efficient staff. Great food. Not trendy or exotic -- just delicious.
Good eats! Poor ambience! Close closeted and noisey, with all the charm of an institutional dining room. But the food and service are waayy above average. We really enjoyed the seafood linguine, with lots of mussels, calamari, small necks and shrimp. The dessert of tiramisu was very good, as was the strong, Italian roast coffee. Recommended and we'll be back.
Great food and great service. I would recommend it.
Excellent service staff and an excellent menu to compliment the overall experience. We were there on a busy night and ever table was full and we had no trouble getting seated and served. The noise level is very high so I can't say it would good for a 1st date or if you were planning on having a conversation with your guests without raising your voice to compensate.
The food is very good and the service was perfect. I would highly recommend.
We hadn’t been here for about 15 years. Our only memory of the place was that we believed it to be overpriced. But, it was Restaurant Week, so we thought we would give it a go. I was shocked to find no vegetarian options for Restaurant Week. Even on the full menu, there were only two vegetarian entrees. I have never experienced this at an Italian restaurant. Disappointing. I ordered the gnocchi off the menu and expected it to be homemade. The sauce was decent, but the gnocchi itself was very comparable to the frozen that we buy at Trader Joe’s. In fact, we wonder if it was the same. It will probably be another 15 years before we go back.
excellent authentic menu wonderful service ez parking and access
great for business lunch or family dinners..a neighborhood treasure
Delicious meal, attentive service. A nearby table had a few children who raised the noise level a bit but for the most part were not too disruptive. The menu has lots of variety to please various tastes.
Very enjoyable neighborhood Italian restaurant. Would recommend to everyone.
Wonderful dining experience! Delicious food!
Food was great. Service just right — attentive but not intrusive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great, moderately priced Italian meal.
This would be a lovely restaurant, if they seated within their capacity - and used noise-absorbing textiles/fabric in their decorating scheme. It is a small, one-room eatery that offers very decent food - but the noise level and crowded seating is ridiculous.
We had reservations; however, we were directed to their (small, corner bar that seats about 4 people - to wait for a table to came open. We were there for a festive occasion (Christmas Eve) - and ended up being seated on folding chairs at a small, rickety table - between two large tables with very loud diners (but, they probably couldn't hear very well, either). We gave up on trying to converse and could barely hear the waiter. Needless to say, the menu came in handy ;o)
It's apparently a popular neighborhood restaurant, and we really wanted to give it a chance. This was our 3rd visit to Capri Ristorante Italiano - and although we didn't run into a lack of seating in the past - the noise and limited space (in close proximity to the front door, no matter where you sit), makes it a non-starter for future visits.
Delicious dinner. Christmas Eve was a very busy but the food and service was perfect!
Consistently good food and service
Always great options
Gourmet Italian options
Authentic menu with yummy desserts
Lovely restaurant! Our food was delicious and all 6 of us cleaned our plates. We will most definitely come back. Service was a bit slow but honestly, it was well worth the wait. Portion sizes are generous and menu prices are reasonable.
Thanks for helping us make our special occasion memorable.
