Capri Ristorante - Burr Ridge
Lunch: Monday - Friday: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM.
Dinner: Monday - Saturday: 4:00 PM, 10:30 PM, Sunday: 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
All good, except that there were 2 big men with us and the young women sat us against the wall. There was a table for four right next to us that would have been much better!
Not thinking. She just put us in the next table up. The place was not busy!
Incredible service! Our water glasses rarely made it passed two swigs!
Never a disappointment at Capri in Burr Ridge. Service is great! We love all the servers but our faves are Gina and Deanna. Homemade Rigatoni with Bolognese was superb as well as our appetizer.
My go to Italian spot. The food is always amazing!
I've been wanting to stop at Capri for a while. We've attempted to come here without a reservation on Fridays/Saturdays... with no luck! We were able to make a reservation on Sunday evening for 6:30 P.M. It was last minute, but we got in!
Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. It felt very friendly!
Lots of good choices... I went basic with Chicken Parmesan, and GF got Stuffed Shells. We had the Basil, Tomato, and Mozzarella (with Balsamic) for an appetizer. It was good, too!
I can't wait to go back. Only 48 dollars for dinner (no tip and no alcohol; one soft drink). A good value in my opinion.
We certainly enjoyed our evening at the restaurant. I believe our server was Vicki and she did a fabulous job for us. There is not one thing that she overlooked! Pleasant, helpful, warm and a terrific server. All the wait staff at the restaurant deserve 5 stars. We were a large group but the staff was very attentive to our needs. Would certainly recommend the restaurant to anyone who loves great food and delicious appetizers. Everyone enjoyed their entree they came to the table beautifully plated and piping hot. The noise level is tough to have a conversation as the restaurant was very busy, but our large family knows how to get the job done.
Thanks for a great evening.
Our waitress was really great and made lunch a real pleasure. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name. She was attentive without hanging over us and also let us take our time and enjoy being with each other.
Haven’t visited there in about 6 years. Was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Our party of 7 had 7 different entrees and each was exceptional. Staff was helpful on s busy night. I understand they are busy every night. Can’t wait to go back.
Service was great food was great. Very noisy however. We will return at a later date
Very good, authentic Italian food! Amazing find in Burr Ridge just off Int. 55 and near 294. Great red sauce. We had the grilled pork chop and the whitefish Francese—both specials—and they were yummy. The only thing they need is better Italian Bread—and serve it hot! This place was full of happy eaters at 6:30 on a Tuesday night. Our server was great. It’s crowded but worth it.
The Food was delicious. Our server, Stephanie, was excellent. Love sitting in the porch area
The food is always great at Capri. THe stuffed artichoke and the chicken vesuvio are worth the trip. The service is very good.
Enjoyed the food very much. However, we were seated at the table at the entrance to the kitchen and the noise and hustle and bustle of waiters going in and out was distracting and annoying. Those tables should be removed. The restaurant gets very noisy without the waiters yelling back and forth to the cooks. Since the food was delicious I would go back but insist on sitting somewhere else.
We’ve been here before and as usual we had a great evening. Capo is one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago
Service was great. All the staff was really nice. Not enough bar seating (or standing room). Really loud everywhere. Hard to have a conversation.
Food is always great, but tables are far too close together. My party of 2 was bombarded by a party of 20 right next to us. Hard to enjoy your anniversary meal when someone is bumping into you every 2 minutes. 😒
Capri Is our go to place as it is with our friends! Never disappointed! Great staff, service, food and drink! Never a bad meal or time at Capri! Love!
Our first time!!! We LOVED it!!! Linda was awesome and the room was great - cool enough and quiet enough to talk during dinner. Huge portions prepared and seasoned correctly - seafood appetizer was amazing! We will be back without a doubt!!!
Capri in Burr Ridge is by far the best of the Capri restaurants. A good spot, good food, good service at a reasonable price.
Always great and I will return! Hidden Gem that we love
It was a lovely place for dinner. My sister and I got the stuffed shells as well as the 8 finger cavatelli. Both were nice and decent sizes. We did have to wait another 15 mins after our reservation time due to the place being packed. Overall, the service was quick and good and we would dine again here.
I know many people love this restaurant and I only gave it two stars because, one I ran my own Italian restaurant and two I have spent much time in Italy knowing what real and simple Italian food should taste like. So being Italian and a chef I thought I might just be too picky. Besides the food being mediocre, one of the guests was disabled and had a walker. Not only did the wait staff not take the walker or bring it back but that person had surgery on their foot and the wait staff stepped on her foot 3 times. We were also shoved in a table that had back to back chairs with the table in front and in back. Lastly we came early to avoid the rush and as it neared a busier time all of the wait staff made it clear they wanted us to leave. I took two bites of my paparadelle, which had another kind of pasta mixed in with it, and layed down my fork for a moment. One of the wait staff took my dish away and my companion had to beg to finish her wine. Several times they tried to hurry us out. Making it more unfortunate was that I had had the same dish at Siena Tavern in downtown Chicago, which was superior and I wished I had just gone back there. If you think Olive Garden is the best Italian food in the world you might like this place.
We went here on a Sunday night for a birthday celebration and the waitress could not have been better in helping us decide the celebratory menu. I especially appreciate the better wine choices being available by the glass. Having said that, the reason I would not return is that the noise level was not energetic, it was loud, intrusive, and off-putting. Had the hostess not been able to seat us outside, I would have left the restaurant to patronize another one in Burr Ridge that has energetic talking in the evening but not the yelling and braying that I heard inside Capri. One dines out not only to eat, but to converse. If conversation becomes impossible then there is no reason to be in that situation, especially when paying for the experience.
We love Capri in Burr Ridge. We usually dine their once a month. I have never had a bad meal there and love their sangrias also. Try it you will like it
Great food & warm ambiance. Celebrated a friend’s birthday and everyone found it very enjoyable.
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner and wine. Great ambiance, friendly wait staff. Will definitely return!
This place just breaks my heart. We started off with the most amazing sausage and peppers I have ever eaten in my entire life. Our waitress said the bread was late coming to the table because it was still in the oven. When it did come it was ice cold. Hmmm. We did ask for more bread, again told it was in the oven, but at least this bread came out warm. My wife got the chicken breast marsala and said it was ok. I got the veal limone and it was so salty it was almost inedible. Since the sausage and peppers were amazing, I ordered a side of sausage. The side of sausage was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT kind of sausage. VERY VERY VERY disappointing. We finished with a cannoli, just because I didn't want to leave with such a bad taste in my mouth and it was fine. I am going to have a very hard time coming back to Capri.
Awesome meal, great time. As usual, we'll be back!
I have been coming here for over 14 years and I have never had a bad meal ever. Awesome real Italian food great atmosphere, awesome staff and the lobster diablo and baked clams are to die for.
Capri is always fabulous!!! Victor is a amazing waiter!! Coach Q pork chop stellar! Lasagna always top notch!! Everything here is sooo delicious!! Do not miss this gem!
I’ve picked up several times for
Capri Express, but this is the first time I dined in the main restaurant. It was wonderful. I would go back in a heartbeat.
We invited friends from Indiana and they felt that it was well worth the drive. Your calamari is the best I have ever tasted and the entrée portions were very generous. Our waiter, Victor was attentive but not intrusive. His service was excellent.
Always an amazing time.
Great service & food
Amazing meal and ambience. I will be back sooner than later!
Have never been disappointed at Capri. Food is always good & service is excellent!
Always great food. Calamari is very tender and good. Good wine list and food is always very tasty. Service is always good too.
As rated above everything was perfect, they have a great lunch menu. Dine there frequently
For a Monday night, it was very crowded. The stuff artichoke was excelent and the rest of the food just as good. Service was slow but the waitress was very good about checking up on us.
