Not my first time at Capo. It’s a great spot.
Service was incredible, every thing we ordered was fabulous, pasta done to perfection, branzino, and cocktails were great!
Wonderful food experience. Among the best places I have dined. Superb service. A little dark so need phone light to read menu. Vast and reasonable wine list. A definite must visit if in Santa Monica.
A very good experience. Service was good the food was great and the place was very nice. I was happy to celebrate my birthday there and will be back
Asked for a last minute change from outdoor seating (which looks cozy & great) to inside. They happily moved us. The servers & managers were helping ALL tables to ensure a great experience. The dishes that we had our server chose for us to accommodate the wine we selected was perfect. They brought each course out with perfect timing and made sure we were able to have dessert even though the table was on a time limit. Atmosphere was cozy, fun & romantic but perfect for a girls/boys night or date night. We had a table next to us that had a intoxicated loud girl that could have ruined experience but not Capo's fault.
Food was phenomenal! The best pasta I’ve had! The Spaghetti Amatriciana were exquisite!
Iconic, Santa Monica Italian Restaurant which for the 20 years that I have dined here on and off is always top level especially when it comes to Italian fare in West L.A.
Hard to beat.
My wife’s milestone birthday; which was known in advance and discussed when making reservation but of no interest once we arrived.
Attitude of waiter and especially the host was one of indifference and insincere gestures. To celebrate her birthday they brought a single piece of stale chocolate about 1 inch square, with a candle. Put on table and walked away without any fanfare. I guess when you only spend $400 for dinner for two you shouldn’t expect much, and at Capo you won’t receive much. Some of the food was very good, some very disappointing especially for the price. The staff simply seemed over it and didn’t want to be working.
Been going for 20yrs. Never again.
Always a Fantastic Experience here, great food, great wine, great service, we LOVE Capo!
Fantastic food. We visit Capo every time we are in LA
V slow service. Over cooked pasta we returned. V poor ambiance in the outside part
Amazing food and service.
Capo never disappoints in providing an elegant dining experience . Professional staff. Exquisite dishes with artistic touches and unique flavors served on decorative plates. The Chocolate Souffle is the perfect finale to a memorable meal. Can’t wait to return .
5 star fantastic! Only mishap was that it was forgotten it was my fiances bday, no writing on fhe plate, and the choc souffle was not preordered as requested. John was great preorganizing the wine in the determined price range. Our waiter never missed a beat. From start to finish the in house baked bread and every course was better than the last. The atmosphere where we dined inside was romantic and relaxing. We look forward to returning.
spectacular as always. pricey but worth it. grilled. calamari, bone in rib eye and porcini risotto were amazing !
It’s beyond good! It’s always perfect and amazing !!!
It’s pricey, just as a warning.
It’s worth it you are really into good food.
Capo is definitely one of the very best restaurants in Los Angeles!
Was excellent as always
Awesome restaurant, incredible food sensational staff and chefs
Food better than ever. Service as well. Restaurant is doing very well and continues to impress.
Great meal, great service. If you can afford it, it’s worth every dollar.
Love this place but it is crazy expensive but its always A+
Busy but very well run
Pricey but worth the quality
Disappointed and furious. We made reservations in September for this special night of celebration. When we arrived for 645 reservation, we were escorted to a parking lot tent. Dark ugly could not see our food or the menus. I asked why we were put there and not in the lively beautiful dining room we expected, they said because we made the reservation this way and we didn’t call directly. So we spent $80 for a plate of pasta for a bill exceeding $700 for four people and sat in the parking lot. They are using this outdoor space for overflow with zero regard for when the reservation was made. I came home and cried. Will never return. Will go to Pastina on Westwood and Vita on Ocean Park for 1/4 the price and 500x the customer care.
WONDERFUL all around! Cheers to Chef Renee and the amazing team John, Frank, and Matt! Our Anniversary dinner was one to remember!! Thank you all!
Spectacular. We sat in the covered outside area but didn't feel like we were in a tent. Service and food were great. The wine list is amazing.
Pasta is second to none
The food was good. The prices were outrageous. We were a party of 4 and the top was obnoxiously added to the bill. First visit in a long time was a big disappointment.
Always a great experience
We had an amazing meal and the service was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best pasta in LA
Food and service is fabulous. Music was too loud and not really appropriate for the clientele.
Food as always never disappoints. It’s what keeps us coming back time and time again. Rigatoni and Corn Ravioli forever.
However, this time service was quite slow throughout the nice. Lots of time between each course and we had to wait around for the waitress.
Excellent, Beautiful Room, Delicious Food, Good Music
In a parking lot
Service a little slow.
Wait staff and management was very rude especially for the high prices
Oberpriced. Bad service. Great steak but is it work 100$? No.
Overpriced and not what Capo once was. This used to be one of my favourite places to go. I will not be going back.
Food was good but way overpriced for the quality . Would no recommend to other people.
Sat in a cold parking lot that was drafty. Waiting to be sat for a good 20 min at least. Food was average. Ambiance was terrible. Will not return
