One slip up with being served something I was allergic to, but the server and manager were so great about it. Huge thanks to Kevin (manager) for making this special occasion so wonderful! I will definitely return.
The staff was awesome and accommodating when our party doubled. Very friendly!
Our waitress, Megan, was an absolute delight, the food was delicious and came out perfectly timed, and the drinks were to die for. We are absolutely coming back.
Noise level was a little obnoxious! That’s what u get with a bunch of millennials in the atmosphere.
Great food and service was excellent.
First time having brunch at Capo. They offer so many brunch items and lunch items! When we first sat down, we were brought over a complimentary birthday doughnut which was on the specials menu. SO GOOD! I got the Italian panini which comes with a salad. I also hash browns and meatballs for the table. Everything we had was delicious. Music playing was awesome. Great crowd (not crazy and loud like other restaurants for brunch). Coffee drinks were tasty. Will definitely be going back again for brunch.
It was impossible to hear the person across the table. The noise level makes this a most undesirable place to eat. The food was tasty. And, it was lost due to loudness. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the loudness.
First time eating at Capo!
My husband and I met our daughters for dinner
Food was excellent and loved the decor
Nicely decorated inside. Good size bar with bar tables. Food was good comfort Italian food. Exceptional meatballs! Drink menu was nice and cocktails were great. We went on a Sunday evening so it wasn't too crowded. We did make a reservation. Bar was lively but not disturbing. Young crowd.
Starting from the host right up to manager the staff is excellent. Atmosphere is warm, inviting not pretentious. Food is great and frankly underpriced. The owners are clearly trying to provide quality at a reasonable price point. Mission accomplished !
Stumbled across Copa on Broadway St, and SO GLAD we did! The food was delicious, and they have a fabulous win selection! I would definitely the calamari, it was fresh and one of the best we’ve had. The ambiance is great, very rustic/lodge style with an Italian feel. Also loved the music venue downstairs for after dinner!
Hands down our favorite restaurant in Southie! Perfect!
Food was fantastic. Pizza was amazing and I love that you can get half orders of the pasta. I just got 2 half orders so I got to try different things. It was great.
Our server (wish I could remember her name!) was so helpful. She even initiated the dessert/birthday candle segment of the evening!
Meghan was a fabulous waitress. Bartenders always great. Love the gentleman who welcomes you. Great space. Nice fire. Got to put the Monk Fish back on menu. Miss it.
Best Italian I’ve had (including Italy)
Great food and bustling Saturday night scene. The appetizers are decently portioned and the cocktails and bar have an amazing list of options. If you don't have a reservation in advance, you'll be out of luck. We tried heading down to the basement for live music afterwards, but the list was over 3 hours long. A word of advice - eat early so you can get down to the basement!
Food was excellent and great value. The pasta dishes and the board were outrageously good. It was a vast space with a huge bar area. Noise level was really high -- hard to engage in conversations but you can feel the energy.
We had a 730 reservation. We arrived at 710. They took us right away. I ordered a red wine. It was just okay. We ordered. The food came very quickly. In fact, my daughter noticed the food arrived 19 minutes from when we walked through the front door of the restaurant. It came so quickly that it beat the bread. I cannot review the bread since we didn’t eat it, since it came after the entree.
I ordered the chicken Parmesan. The pasta was undercooked and the chicken was over cooked. The portion was huge!
My daughter ordered the Pasta Pomodoro. She enjoyed it, but couldn’t finish the portion.
Very slow service
Really great Easter Brunch. Something for everyone. Choice of brunch and dinner menu, plus some nice specials for Easter. Their bread is wonderful. The breakfast pizza, Bolognese, and benedict were perfect.
Food was very good, which will bring us back. The service was extremely unattentive. We would have actually enjoyed more courses but by the time we flagged down our server we just wanted to move on.
Really great atmosphere for a group or date night. The food is delicious. Service was OK. We felt a bit rushed and it seemed like a hassle to get drinks from the waitress.
Great meal with friends. Food was spectacular as was the service. Great spot!
Great brunch. Good service.
What a blast...with Great food! Everyone was happy.
We had requested/reserved a table in the back room for 6:45 and the restaurant was not able to accommodate. The waitress said that we had to order both apps and dinner entrees together which made us feel rushed and not welcomed. The noise level was so loud I felt like we were yelling at the waitress. It was a shame because we loved the food so much.
We called ahead of a Friday night reservation to ask that my party of 5 did not get squeezed at a small table for 4, which is what frequently we find happens when we try to go out as 5 instead of 6...We were extremely pleased (even that particular mother of ours!!) with a cozy yet spacious table by the fire. The manager really cared about his patrons being comfortable which goes a long way these days, as that is unfortunately not the case everywhere you go.
In addition, all of our food was excellent and I would also like to mention that we thought our service was superb - Megan was attentive, engaging, friendly and efficient. All around great experience. The back dining room was extremely loud, but I suppose that is to be expected on a busy Friday night.
This place is awesome. Great food, great vibes. Every time I've been to Capo, I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. The best spot in Southie!
Capo Restaurant was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone in Boston for fresh homemade tasting pasta. I had the ricotta stuffed raviolis and added meatballs, so so good. Also tried the lobster gnocchi, also very good. Server was also helpful and friendly. Overall great experience. If ever in Boston again, I would revisit!
The tirimasu pancakes are worth the calories. Delish!
There is no doubt in my mind that Capo is THE best restaurant in South Boston. I would rate this restaurant a five-star! Every single time I have dined here I am blown away by the service. The food is delectable, however the part that impresses me is the knowledgeable waitress, they always have phenomenal recommendations. This will forever be my favorite spot! Congratulations Capo on consistently providing the best service in greater Boston!!!
Took our grown kids out- to Great meal and service and a great place just to “hang out” for the millennials!
Good was alright nothing special. Our waitress was great. Super friendly and attentive and made good recommendations. ATTENTION MINORITIES: There are close to no one of color there (which is totally fine) but they make you feel it. Not so much the staff but just the people there. We got nothing but looks all night simply for being the only ones of color. Seems like a super cool place to eat , it was full of what looked like college students. There was even a line outside for the lounge downstairs. Unfortunately, I will not be returning or recommending.
The food was insanely good. Like crazy good. But the restaurant was very very loud. I could barely hear myself talk, literally. Food was unreal. Could not stress that enough.
It was a decently good experience. Food well above average.
As always - food was delicious, staff was wonderful (especially Kevin upstairs and Kayla downstairs) and the music was amazing at the supper club!
Good place to go to get some authentic Italian food. The meatballs are delicious and the ambiance is great!
Enjoyed our experience there food was delicious. It is a huge place wth a great bar.
If I could have given 6 stars, I would have. Lauren P was the best server ever!! She made sure my friend had a special birthday and that we were all happy at all times.
The staff there is one of the best in the city. Food is great.... the prosciutto toast and the meatballs are my favorites. I have been many times and I will be many more!
