Capo Restaurant was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone in Boston for fresh homemade tasting pasta. I had the ricotta stuffed raviolis and added meatballs, so so good. Also tried the lobster gnocchi, also very good. Server was also helpful and friendly. Overall great experience. If ever in Boston again, I would revisit!
The tirimasu pancakes are worth the calories. Delish!
There is no doubt in my mind that Capo is THE best restaurant in South Boston. I would rate this restaurant a five-star! Every single time I have dined here I am blown away by the service. The food is delectable, however the part that impresses me is the knowledgeable waitress, they always have phenomenal recommendations. This will forever be my favorite spot! Congratulations Capo on consistently providing the best service in greater Boston!!!
Took our grown kids out- to Great meal and service and a great place just to “hang out” for the millennials!
Good was alright nothing special. Our waitress was great. Super friendly and attentive and made good recommendations. ATTENTION MINORITIES: There are close to no one of color there (which is totally fine) but they make you feel it. Not so much the staff but just the people there. We got nothing but looks all night simply for being the only ones of color. Seems like a super cool place to eat , it was full of what looked like college students. There was even a line outside for the lounge downstairs. Unfortunately, I will not be returning or recommending.
The food was insanely good. Like crazy good. But the restaurant was very very loud. I could barely hear myself talk, literally. Food was unreal. Could not stress that enough.
It was a decently good experience. Food well above average.
As always - food was delicious, staff was wonderful (especially Kevin upstairs and Kayla downstairs) and the music was amazing at the supper club!
Good place to go to get some authentic Italian food. The meatballs are delicious and the ambiance is great!
Enjoyed our experience there food was delicious. It is a huge place wth a great bar.
If I could have given 6 stars, I would have. Lauren P was the best server ever!! She made sure my friend had a special birthday and that we were all happy at all times.
The staff there is one of the best in the city. Food is great.... the prosciutto toast and the meatballs are my favorites. I have been many times and I will be many more!
Really good but the bar will be packed on a Saturday morning!
I went for brunch with 5 friends. We all traded bites from our dishes because everything was so incredibly tasty. Special shoutout to the Banana Nutella French Toast and the Croque Monseir.
We were a party of five and went for Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. The food and service were both excellent. We had a reservation but didn’t need it as we arrived right at eleven, but the place was quite busy when we left. Nice atmosphere...we sat by the fire. We would definitely return.
The food was great and well priced for the location. Service was fairly slow and the hosts/servers were not the most attentive, but do understand it was a busy Saturday night.
My girlfriend and I went for Valentine’s day and it was absolutely amazing! The food was to die for. I can’t wait to come back
Everything was fantastic!! Our server Ryan was really awesome. Food was amazing. Can’t wait to go again. Thanks for a great night guys!!
Best Italian outside of North End. Excellent value. Great service with very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice wine selection with affordable options. The scallops starter is a must.
went for my 5 year anniversary and the ambiance was great. the waitress treated us to 2 glasses of complimentary champagne and a small special app. It was a great time!
Great food and atmosphere!
Great place, loved the ambience with the big fire place in the back, open kitchen, and huge bar! Ended up going for an early dinner on a Friday night a 6:30 and was seated right away. Staff was super friendly and even brought me over a little Capo once for our little babe we are expecting :) Got the eggplant parmigiana and it was delicious along with the tiramisu! I also had to start off with an order of the short rib raviolis to share for the table. Will definitely be going back!
Very good time, Great Food, Nice People, Great Bar, GOOD Value
Brought my parents here for dinner, loved the food but was really hard to have a conversation.
The food was amazing, the service spectacular, and they even gave us a quiet table as requested through Open Table. I had the Pasta Bolognese which was incredible - pasta was al dente and the sauce melted in your mouth. My husband had the NY Strip and it was cooked to perfection. The only thing I would caution on is going with a large group. The restaurant is a bit noisy and I don't know if you would be able to hear conversations if it was a group seated at a long table. Other than that - I would highly recommend Capo!!!
Awful service. Very disappointed in the attitude of staff.
Very good dinner with family. It is loud there and the service was good but was not great. It’s a fun place and I will definitely go back!
I had guests in Boston from France and wanted to treat them to a fun evening , good food, easy accessibility to Boston, good location for everyone. We ordered lots of appetizers, Eggplants, meatballs, salads and DELICIOUS red wine. Waitstaff was kind, fun, knowledgeable and just all and all 10 star service. Yummy meal.....
I was very pleased with Capo. It is much bigger than the photos depict, but when I asked to sit near the fireplace, they moved us without fuss. The food was excellent and the service was great. And I was amazed that there was live music in the basement level. Loved the experience.
Coming form NH, it was worth the drive. Getting there and parking is difficult, but we were glad we made the effort.
Awesome ravioli! Restaurant is beautiful. Great for date night or large event.
We were quite impressed with the quality of food and overall experience (except for the noise level, which made it very difficult to even speak because of the tremendous number of young people at the bar who were shouting and making a lot of noise). It was a holiday weekend so I would not try again over a holiday weekend or when there is a sport game on TV.
Our server (Zack) was excellent, friendly, service-oriented and knowledgeable about the menu and how items were prepared.
Each of our appetizers and entrees was superb, some of the best Italian food we have ever eaten in Boston. We will be back SOON!
Went to Capo for dinner with a few friends and then went to the supper club downstairs where we met up with a larger group of friends. My third time at the supper club and I consistently have a blast. This was my first time dining with Capo and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and turnout of the food. I will be back again. Well done!
We are Capo regulars - great hot spot and can’t beat the amazing food and seasonal menu changes. Our only complaint is that sometimes it is so loud in the dining area that it’s hard to have a conversation.. but overall we love it here!
Capo has quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants since moving to South Boston. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is lively. Having known to make a reservation in hopes of dining here on a Saturday night I made one for 8:30pm. Unfortunately my party and I were not sat until 9:15pm and it was at a horrible table with overflow bar crowd bumping into it. Within a couple moments, I notified the hostess that we were unhappy with our table and having had to wait an extra 45mins to finally be seated we would like a different spot and to kindly be compensated in some manner. She sent over Paige who I am assuming is the manager...but she was also a god send for our evening and really turned things around for us. While waiting for a better table to open she got us a wonderful bottle of wine, moved us gracefully to a new spot and had VIP apps sent over to our table that she delivered personally. Throughout the meal she would periodically check on us and make sure we were happy. Although our waitress was wonderful, Paige really stepped up and made our experience worth while! I was beyond impressed with her grace, professionalism and respect that she showed my party. I will without a doubt be returning in hopes of having another wonderful experience with Paige. Because of her quick thinking and problem solving my party and I had a great night. I even tried to tip her at the end for her kind service which she stubbornly refused and I wish she hadn't...she earned it! Thank you Paige!
Amazing as always 11/10
Great place with amazing pasta and great service! Would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Steve O was a great server, he really made the experience.
Went for New Year's Brunch, food was amazing, had the Egg BLT which was delicious. Avocado toast was also tasty. Music was very loud--hard for conversation, but great vibe and good music was playing.
Great food, good service, but very loud environment
Great night, great service.
