Danielle is a G. Best services I’ve had in a very long time. She’s the reason I’ll be back next week.

Greeted at the door by a nice welcoming man, that alone made us feel at home. We arrived almost 30min late and after a few minutes we were seated thankfully during a busy valentines evening which was nice because when I called they said they only hold tables for 15min. Our waitress Stephanie was very nice and helpful explaining the dishes and specials of the night. We ordered the meatballs as a starter and they were fantastic. Drinks were nice and strong and came out fast. We sat in the rear of the restaurant and it was beautiful with the exposed brick walls, wood pizza stove and fireplace. Very cozy and romantic, just perfect for the night. I ordered the stuffed lobster tail with a side of potatoes and charred asparagus, it was ok. But my sweetheart ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was the best I’ve ever had, to die for with the right amount of breaded crumbs on top! App, dinner, drinks and dessert a total of $185. Overall it was a nice dinner and we plan on coming back and highly recommending to others.
Thank you.

service wasn't great and some of the food options were nowhere near worth what you pay for. overall a nice place for a drink and some bar snacks, but as for food quality and a date night, it's not the very solid.

We really enjoyed our meal and our server Ryan was great and we are not an easy table lol! The food was all great and we tried a lot of different things. The Veal Marsala was phenomenal. Chicken Parm was great. We also tried the Calamari, buratta, shrimp scampi, arancini, spaghetti, and cavatelli.

I came to celebrate my friends birthday for brunch. They advertise that their brunch menu ends at 3pm. We were seated by 2:35. When our server came to the table she told us they were no longer serving brunch and handed us an albeit limited dinner menu with five meal options and three appetizers. We were very disappointed at the selection and the bluntness of our waitress. When we questioned the 3pm stop and why so early she said she didn’t know and that we just had to order from the dinner menu. Very disappointed we left and went to a different restaurant. Overall it was a very poor experience

We had the best service at Capo celebrating our 1 year anniversary. While making our reservation on OpenTable we mentioned we were coming back to celebrate 1 year together after meeting at Capo last year. Our server Olivia took amazing care of us, giving us a free round of champagne and sending out a free appetizer from the kitchen. The food and the service were excellent and we were so impressed that they took a reservation note online and created such a special experience for us. The food was excellent, they have some of the best meatballs in the city. We will definitely continue to frequent Capo

Love Capo for dinner, such delish food, beats the North End for authentic Italian. Had the pizza- was delicious, personally prefer mine a little more charred but it was thin and fresh! The Arancini is a great app, really rich and delicious! The squash ravioli is divine, the half portion was really generous!
We will be back, love the fire and the big screen projectors make it a great spot for sports spectating!

I live nearby - it is so nice to be able to walk to such a high-end restaurant that has excellent food and not a crowded 20's scene. The back room is absolutely gorgeous with the stone fireplace. I always said it feels like Aspen in there. Service was great! Food was amazing.

Very nice casual night with family. The fire was roaring on a frigid night. We asked to sit in the back room even though the section was closed for what we found out was a marriage proposal...Food was fantastic liquor bill snuck up on us... but the food offset the sticker shock! Definitely would recommend it!

We had our first baby a month ago. This was my husband and my first trip out of the house, to a restaurant, with the baby since she had arrived. There was also a couple with a six month old next to us. They put us in a quiet area of the restaurant (as requested) and the owner came over after dinner to us and the other couple with an infant. He thanked us for coming in and gave us each a onesie for our babies. It’s the small touches and extra mile things like that that make this restaurant amazing. It’s not just for boozie brunches, but for all types of customers, including new parents.

Thank you Capo! We’ll be back for sure!!

Capo is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. The food is always exceptional (the pasta is to die for) and the service is fantastic - our waitress brought over complimentary glasses of champagne since it was our friend's birthday. We'll definitely be coming back some time soon!

Extremely loud. Services was awful. We were getting lied to from bouncers, servers and hosts about wait time. We wanted to go downstairs but kept getting told ‘the wait time is this long’ and we were on the list. But kept seeing people sneak downstairs. Overall I would not go back. I am from Southie so Capo had the ‘family Dollar’ smell to it and honestly I had been avoiding places like Capo, Lincoln, Loco on purpose and this validated my choice to avoid them.

We went with another couple and the calamari appetizer was scrumptious. The marinara was so flavorful. We split 3 of the pastas. Highly recommend the cacio e pepe. The lobster white pizza melts in your mouth. Bottles of wine are very reasonably priced as well.

Food was great and service was excellent. However, Saturday night is not the time for a nice dinner with good conversation. The bar scene is LOUD and is definitely what the place is geared towards. They actually had to ask people to move so we could be squeezed into a table next to the high top being leaned on. This is with empty tables a little further away. Our waiter had more sense and moved us. If not for the level of service, this review would not be as positive.

I came with my husbands family for his birthday and we had an amazing meal! We got the mushroom pizza and meatballs as an appetizer and loved the pizza so much we spontaneously asked for another one. Everyone loved their entrees (rigatoni bolognese and eggplant parm were standouts) and the service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great celebration spot in Southie!

Another five star dining experience at CAPO! We loved absolutely everything and Zack, our waiter, was just spectacular as always! Each dish was perfectly prepared and presented. We will be back again soon with other friends and prospective new patrons for this terrific gathering spot, restaurant and happening bar!
