I had not been there for a long time but enjoyed it as much as before, as did my companion, a first-time diner there. Ran into some friends there too, who had come from east of the Anacostia; they think that it is worth the trip too.

The food wasn't bad, but wasn't good. The ambiance wasn't terrible, but wasn't terrific. Over all our whole experience was so-so

Not that special but tasty Indian buffet and relatively inexpensive. Went for a late lunch on Friday, so it was relatively quiet and the service was good, although they were replenishing some dishes rather slowly.

The food was excellent - especially the naan. We reserved a table for a group of 20 for lunch, which was ready when we got there. It was easiest to go with the buffet, although some of our group members chose to order from the menu. Everyone really enjoyed the food, and the service was top-notch. The manager was very helpful, especially in splitting the checks, and allowing us to pay with both credit and cash (as opposed to some restaurants that won't even split the bill for you). Would definitely recommend.

I don't remember them having beer in the past. We went on an extremely hot day and they offered a good selection which included Taj Mahal. I used to travel the world and this lager will now rank as one of my top five beers.
The staff was welcoming and attentive and the lunch menu was better than ever.

My friend and I went for lunch and had the buffet. The food was ok but nothing more. When I arrived and said that I had a reservation, the wait staff (no greeter) looked at me blankly. There appeared to be a few tables of frequent diners but otherwise it looked empty. I was very disappointed with both the service and the food.

The buffet lunch provided a nice sampling of food. Persons were pleased with the food.
Others in our group ordered from the menu and were also pleased with their food.
Only negative: We reserved our lunch reservation through open table, but the restaurant didn't appear to know any details about it. It did not take them long to set up the tables for our group since no one else was there.
I would return again, however, large groups should check their reservations over the telephone before arriving.

We had a group of 10 for Sunday lunch buffet - it was excellent! The manager and staff were incredibly helpful and responsive. Our drinks were always filled, the food was fresh and hot on the buffet, and I felt like they took really great care of us. Thanks to the manager for making it a great experience!
