Great selection of beer. The menu had a variety of items, good selection. Music was a bit loud, but ok.

The service was very slow. They waited until the rest of my party's food was served to tell me that what I order was no longer available. Although, they compensated my meal and dessert; I had to take my food to go since the rest of my party had already finished their meal. The DC location is much better.

They have changed their happy menu. No longer do they have $5 appetizers as they once had. Let me share my latest experience of this happening.

I have been going there the past 10 years from time to time to take advantage of this menu. I loved the chicken wings! You would get 10 large chicken wings for $5. For me, that was a meal in itself. I would bring friends and family from out of town because I loved the location and the menu during happy hour.

This past weekend, I took my boyfriend there to get the wings. When I arrived I found that the happy hour menu and the menu itself had changed. Still my boyfriend wanted to try the wings. He ordered BBQ wings. The waiter warned us that they were smaller than what we had grown used to. I asked if it was still 10 wings, the waiter shared that it was not. That is was 6 wings. I asked the waiter how they could do that when the advertisement on the screen clearly showed 10 wings as it once was. The waiter apologized for the false advertising and said that point would be shared with management. When we got our food it was $6 for 6 smaller wings.

My point is that if you are looking for the same deal that once was at this location with the happy hour menu, you won’t get it sadly. Maybe there will be something on the new menu that you might like though!

The beer is really great. Service fantastic and management awesome. However, they recently changed the menu so the one online is not what you get at the store. Over half of the items are “new”, but not necessarily good. Would recommend for a happy hour or quick bite but disappointed for a dinner out for celebration.

Came for a casual, business holiday lunch. Two people ordered chili, and he came out ice cold. One person ordered a Gyro, and it was filled with lettuce. I ordered the fish and chips, and it lacked flavor. The waiter was great. He mentioned they were rolling out new menus.I was disappointed with the food. We been here before and enjoyed the experience better .

Appetizers were great! We had the appetizer platter. Husband had a great steak & cheese. He couldn't get over how good it was. I made the mistake of ordering a crabcake just had a taste for it but after thinking it over a crabcake should definitely be ordered from a seafood restaurant, a more upscale location or made at home. Besides the crabcake the overall experience was great. This was our first time there. We will be back.

Great looking, nice menu but food is more middle-of-the-road Food is but the beer is better. 2nd time there, thought we'd give a 2nd chance. Brought out-of-town guests. They felt the same. Would go back for the bar.

Typical price range for burgers, beer, and entrees, however the quality of the above was supbar at best. List of tap beer and bottles leaves more to be desired. Don't waste your time trying this place out, it is not worth your money. It's too bad because the venue is clean and has a lot of potential to offer the area. Hopefully they fire the chef, brewmaster, and manager and hire a team that gives a damn about quality.

Unhappy with the chili - served cold and did not like the taste. Server (Erin) was great, offered me other options but I decided not to order anything else because my husband was half finished with his meal. As I recall, I did not like what I ordered the last time I was at the restaurant either. Perhaps it's my fault but I am giving up on this restaurant and will find somewhere else to eat before the theater.

Early dinner before our party in DC. Great service, food was very good. Hummus , apple walnut salad, fish, crab cakes, wings, awesome kids menu! Clean bathrooms close garage parking. Can't complain we will be back! I got a birthday cupcake and candle for a well wish from the restaurant. Everyone left full and satisfied.

I had the crab cakes which were very decent for a non-seafood joint. The beer was good too. Overall food, service and ambiance were all good. Will go again.

Good experience overall. Wasn't particularly amazing. Our server was good. The food was standard bar food. The Cajun pasta was not Cajun in any way, paid extra for 4 shrimp in my pasta. If I went again I'd just get a sandwich.

My 5 year old chose Cap City for her birthday dinner. She loves the kids menu but decided she wanted to share something off the grown up menu with mom and dad! As usual service was amazing and for a beautiful summer night the place was surprisingly quiet. Another great dinning experience at Cap City Brewery!

Atmosphere was of the regular brewery type; TVs at the bar, large cauldrons of beer towering over the eating space, and signage everywhere marketing the latest brew. Food was good, beer was good, service was marginal. Took awhile to actually place our order once seated, then another wait just to get our beers and complementary pretzels. Didn't even finish eating our first pretzel when our food came to the table though, so that speed things up. Overall a good experience with a suggestion, if you have liquor available, have a drink list for that! We had to ask if it was available, then tell them what drink we wanted. That's fine if you know what you like, but some people like a menu to choose from.

Horrible. In particular the service was so bad I can not find word. Appetizer never appeared and the beef was over cooked. Worst restaurant in the area (a place full of cute and friendly restaurants).

Service was slow (we had to ask where our waitstaff was, with 3 waiters and a manager hanging at hostess desk), food was average (although the onion rings were good), beer was, well, beer. Wasn't horrible, wasn't great.

They didn't seem ready or staffed to handle a Friday dinner rush which is surprising as we eat here all the time. After being seated we waited 15 min before telling them we still didn't have a waiter. The manager made it better by helping the host take our order. We didn't see our waiter under he brought the bill. Unusual bad experience here I hope it's not a new trend.

Seated right away and our table was already ready. Service was generally great, although, if a special request was made, it could be a while before, for example, cocktail sauce, was provided. The crab cakes came with tartar sauce, but, I do not care for tartar sauce. Also, I received the tartar sauce, which then went to waste. Food was excellent, as always, and we planned ahead, so, we still had plenty of time to get to Signature Theatre after a pleasant dinner. This restaurant is our top pick when seeing a show at Signature, as, it finds a way to accommodate groups of 6 or more.

Food was good, 3 of us had sandwiches and the other the crab cake entree. Service was a bit slow and one person in our party received the wrong order. Had to wait a fair amount of time before the correct order (a club sandwich) was brought to the table. Thankfully the restaurant did not charge for that order. Ambience was mostly good, except for a couple in the booth next to us who was not eating, only drinking and groping each other in plain view. I assume that isn't normal for this place, just bad luck on our part.

Good food, terrible service. Multiple visits have been the same thing every time...good burgers, some other decent food options (I just end up craving a burger when I'm there), but horrendous service EVERY time. Slow, inept, non-responsive to requests. This time the waiter was clueless as to menu options, had a hard time understanding that we wanted to order kids meals when pointing to the kids menu, didn't understand our request for sweeteners for our iced tea (and never brought them...we had to get up and find another staff person to ask), we had to wait for him to bring ketchup when we requested it (despite the fact that our table ordered 3 burgers/fries and a chicken tenders/fries meal...pretty good bet we will need ketchup). The ONLY reason we go back is bc it's 5 minutes from our house, decent food for the price, and we can take our kids (as long as we also bring plenty of entertainment since we know service will be slow).
