The selection of ciders is great. Love a place with a variety of ciders! The cocktails were good too. Food was good! I only shared a plate though.
The BEST Gluten Free food I’ve had since being diagnosed with my disease. My husband who can eat anything also loved the food. It was so nice for the first time being able to share food together and I didn’t have to question if I was going to be sick later.
The cheese curds were fantastic and the brownie and cheesecake tasted better than any GF dessert I’ve had. We plan on coming back next weekend even though it’s an hour from our house. So worth the trip! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing and the food comes out quickly and hot!
Wonderful place to eat gluten free food. You don’t feel like you’re eating gluten free food.
so we had booked a table for four to sit outside for this past Sunday at 1230 for brunch. On their website it states that they open at 12. We get there at 1230 and go inside and stand around for a few minutes while we wait to be greeted. No one ever comes so we ask the only person in the restaurant (a cook) what the deal is and where we sit etc. he wouldn’t talk to us and walked away. There were no servers and no hosts. We wasted time and money driving there and paying for parking to be turned away from a restaurant with no staff. Don’t waist your time going here
Johnathan was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the ability to have certain items made to match our dietary restrictions was a huge relief.
Keep up the good work, guys!
Great service, heaters are wonderful. Fantastic ciders
Nicely sectioned private tables so we felt comfortable removing our masks to eat. Waitstaff gave us plenty of space. Berry cider flight was excellent!
Great food and service!
Capitol Cider is by far my favorite establishment on all of Capitol Hill. The staff are amazing and the business is run very well. I used to enjoy live music here every week and cannot wait until live music comes back to Capitol Cider!
This was for a birthday celebration with reservations. The place wasn’t even open at our reservation time despite it was suppose to be and the staff was not very friendly and unapologetic. We didn’t end up getting seated until 25 minutes later.
We’ve eaten here many times, but this time was a bit strange. Our reservations were set at 12, but no one was there to seat us when we arrived. The restaurant door was open, however. We waited quite a bit for someone to arrive and get us seated. The employee had to set up the tables/chairs/heaters once they arrived (nothing was set up beforehand, and the employee seemed a bit annoyed we were there and on time). We, of course, expected to sit outside so that was a non-issue, and the heater was nice. The food was great, as usual. We just felt that it was weird that we were made to feel as though we were in the wrong for being on time for our reservation... The experience was a bit uncomfortable, and I would hope to see a little more professional customer service in the future. The food was delicious, though!
Found street parking nearby... the dining is outside on the sidewalk, some small tables and a couple of make-shift booths with tented tops and plastic sheeting, tons of portable heaters. Lots of lights and greenery, very festive overall. The ciders are great, food is good and the cheesecurds are amazing. Service was very attentive, prices were moderate overall, we appreciate the effort that these folks are going through to keep businesses alive during the pandemic... thank you for doing so!
Lovely little outdoor cubbies with heaters and not too much enclosure
Great food in a nice atmosphere. Being Celiac, it was nice to be able to choose anything on the menu and know it is gluten free. I was torn between the fried chicken and the fish and chips so ordered both.
I love this place! The food, serve and the experience is amazing. Being celiac and able to go to a restaurant and order able to order anything on the menu with no worries is the best feeling and is sooooooo good 😍
Out of town guests
Dope place I love it
Fish and chips were really good, plate looked really pretty. Great coder recommendations by the server, pumpkin spice cider and blackberry currant cider, were delicious!
Absolutely amazing cider place in Seattle. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely return :)
Very nice to have a place with 100% gluten-free options on the menu. Everything was tasty and if I didn’t know it i would never guess it as gluten-free. Now I need them to open a restaurant closer to Tacoma.
Service was great. Recommend the whiskey and cider flights. I found the tequila cocktail too sweet.
Great restaurant, great service and the cider flights were really good.
Fantastic! Food was delicious, highly recommend the fish & chips or burger. Service was great. Felt very clean and safe with their COVID precautions.
Excellent dinner that was celiac safe without sacrificing great flavor. Even the gluten eaters in our group were impressed.
You'd never know it's a gluten-free kitchen except for the sandwich buns. Fantastic food and excellent service. The Brussels sprouts and cheese curds appetizers are SOOOO good! The french fries are not to be missed. We will return.
Really cozy booth seating and safe practices from the staff. Amazing selection of ciders, this is a must go when visiting Cap Hill.
Capitol Cider continues to have great food and excellent service.
It’s was just bad
Fun place to grab drink and bite! They have great heated outdoor dining now as well.
The staff was very kind and super attentive. Having so many GF options that all sound great is super rare. The food was amazing and the cider/ whiskey variety was very impressive! Will be returning again soon!!
Got sat next to leak gas line. Not a pleasant experience, I would not recommend this place.
Apologies for any miscommunication or misunderstandings when you brought this issue up to you server, but there is not a gas leak in or outside of our establishment.
Great food especially if you are gluten free. Fried chicken Or fish sandwich! Excellent selection of ciders and even on tap so you can get flights.
Overall great place. The chilaquiles are made with tortilla chips (vs. tortillas) that aren't quite cooked long enough, so they're crispy, but still tasty. Great wine and cider.
Gluten free and delicious the food was well prepared and served quickly by the attentive server
The host and waiters were amazing and very attentive. Food came out quick and was hot and DELICIOUS! I got the fish and chips and the rest of the group got the chicken sandwich. We also got cheese curds and the flash fried brussel sprouts as an appetizer and then the lemon cheesecake for dessert. Everything was amazing.
The service was unusually slow. We had to ask twice to put in drink orders. We ordered our food when we ordered our drinks because we had been there for almost an hour already. The food was excellent, but the service continued to lag. I have not had this experience in this restaurant before. I eat here often enough that sine if the staff recognize me, so I was really disappointed because I had two guests who were eating there for the first time. I’m hoping this experience was just a one off.
We had asked for a booth, and were told that they were already taken. There was still an empty booth when we left. Felt disregarded by the host/hostess/management
I felt that the food was overpriced for the quality. Nice GF options though.
We visited on a Tuesday Blues night which I thought was a wonderful atmosphere. The food and service was top-notch, as always.
great gluten free restaurant. Been there several times.
