My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in we were impressed with everything including the ambiance, decor and friendliness of the hostess. Our server William, was affectionately referred to all night as "Johnny on the spot"! He made our anniversary a night to remember! He surprised us all night we personal touches that made our anniversary unique; complimentary champagne, cocktails, dessert, a capital grille anniversary card and roses! We could tell he enjoyed his job by the enthusiasm he displayed and the history and knowledge of the restaurant he shared with us. Even the young gentleman who filled our water glasses, made sure they were never empty, he also was on it, all night! The food was delicious! Nice size portions, we didn't even have room for our dessert. We can't wait to go back! I highly recommend capital grille for special occasions, small dinner parties or even happy hour! Whatever the occasion, you can't go wrong dining here.

One of the best steaks ever. If you go highly recommend the dry aged steak. You will not be disappointed.

Went during restaurant week which they have a $35 three course meal which included an 8 oz filet minion. Wow it was delicious! Well worth the full price but a bargain during the special week event. It was our 29th wedding anniversary and we celebrated with our kids. From the start of entering the restaurant, we felt like we were an important customer to them. The selection of wines is unbelievable , having to use an ipad with inventory as the variety was too long to list on a printed menu. That could be a little overwhelming to the novice. No worries, the staff can help you. The waitress was a spot on professional. Thanks for a great time Capital Grill!e

Went for restaurant week. Food was very good, service was great, drinks were awesome. Only negative was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I've seen cleaner stalls at Bengals games, it was bad! Overall great time, will be back.

The food at the Capital Grill is outstanding, especially the steaks. The extensive wine list enabled us to find a wine from a small Sonoma wine maker that is a favorite from our visits there. The crème brulee is the best in town and covered in fresh fruit.

Waiter Greg was amazing, top notch service! Made for a very special occasion.

We had a great time at the Capital. Service was great she did not rush everything out. Plenty of time in between corses. Food was perfect.

The walk up to the door looked promising. After that, not so much. Our "reservation" was for 9:00 PM. I read in other reviews that the reservation times didn't seem to matter and they were usually sat late. This happened to us as well. We arrived at 8:45 PM and were not sat until 9:22 PM. The staff was polite and attentive. The best part of the meal was the bread and salads. We ordered 2 steaks. I ordered a chef's special cooked medium. It arrived more that medium-well. My wife ordered a filet medium-plus. She received it scorched on the crust and bleeding all the way through. We have eaten enough steaks to know that these were way off the mark. I never send my steak back for any reason so I dealt with it. My wife couldn't handle all the uncooked beef so she sent hers back. Steaks are never quite the same after sent back so I will leave it at that. We did not complain or express disdain to the management as that is not our style. For what its worth, we saw no less than 6 other steaks in our immediate area sent back to the kitchen. Maybe they had someone new that day?

A wonderful night of fine dining at it's best! We already have reservations to go there again.

It was nice to have a chance to dine here during Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week. The food was very good & the service was excellent.

Food and service were good. Negative review as the beer selections are very pedestrian and you have to ask the waiter to detail the choices as no written list is available despite the use of an iPad for the wine list. Beer drinkers very clearly second class citizens here -other steakhouses in this price range offer a well rounded beer list that a diner can review at their leisure.

Great food and service. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Creme brûlée was wonderful.

We visited this place during Greater Cincinnati Restaurant week as we hadn’t had a chance to try previously and had heard good things about the food. So glad we chose this place as our meals were excellent....all 4 in our party loved everything they chose from the menu. We’ll come back here for sure! Our waiter, William, was superb!

I loved this restaurant. I have not experienced this type of service in Cincinnati since I left Los Angeles. The service was superb and the food was excellent. Our server, Barry was wonderful and very helpful. He was especially knowledgeable about the wine selection. Planning on coming back many times over.

We always make a point to visit Capital Grille during restaurant week. This is one of our favorite places. The food is never disappointing.

Went to The Capital Grille during Restaurant Week and it was awesome as usual! The special menu was super and we even had some to take home for a delicious snack the next day. Everything was great they were definitely packed and very busy because of the occasion.

Steaks were delicious and the service was impeccable.

It was restaurant week and our first time at this location. We were quickly seated in a booth which we requested. Service was prompt and attentive.
My wife ordered the bone in New York strip steak. I ordered the filet mignon. She thoroughly enjoyed her steak. I ordered mine medium but it came medium rare. I sent it back but it came back still more medium rare. I ate it anyway and it was good but not as good if it was done properly as I requested.
Overall a positive experience and we will go back.

Wish they would have told me that the bottled water they poured for us was five bucks a bottle.

I have heard of the restaurant, but just didn't ever think to dine there. I discovered this gem during Cincinnati Restaurant Week. The food was fresh and seasoned to perfections and the service was amazing! I will definitely be returning!

Our server, Darius was fantastic. They were out of a few things, but it was a special- so that’s understandable. We felt special and the dinner was delicious!

We went during Restaurant Week so the value was good for the price. The food was great, steaks prepared to order, tender and flavorful. When clearing the table and preparing to box up one portion the waiter dropped the remains of a filet. He immediately cleaned it up and brought a new, whole filet to take home. He had been a little overly enthusiastic before but his prompt action redeemed his service.

William was fantastic.

Second experience at this restaurant and it was amazing, just like the first time! Would highly recommend it.....
