My husband and I went here for a date night. We couldn’t have been happier with the choice. Amity was our server and she was just the best! From the moment we sat down to when we left, the experience was top notch. Cannot wait to go back!
The filet was delicious and perfectly charred on the outside.
We had reservation. When we arrived we were seated promptly. Waiter took our drink order quickly, it went downhill after that. Our food didn't arri be for 43 minutes later, We had the au graten potatoes which were for some strange reason less then room temperature even though the serving dish was extremely hot. Food was alright, I've definitely had better. I thought for the money the portions should have been a tad larger. Bottom line we would be returning anytime soon

My wife and I both ordered the filet mignon. Steak was poorly seasoned and the char was overly charred. We sent our steaks back and they came out less charred and tasted better but, still lacking seasoning. For the price I paid I wouldn’t go here again. I’ve cooked better steaks at home with low quality meat. I’ve had better tasting steaks at Longhorn, Outback, and Carlo and Johnny.
Getting together with a High School friend I’d not seen in over 50 years It was a very special evening to meet her husband and for her to meet mine.

The lobster was outrageous! As was the bread, appetizers and sides. My mom had a filet with crab meat atop that was also outstanding. Can’t say enough about the service, as well. Polite, attentive, kind. Will definitely be coming back! Wow
We spent our 29th Anniversary at the Capital Grille. They went way above and beyond for us. Put a card and confetti’s on the table. Gave my wife a rose. Brought out a plate at the end of our dinner with great desserts on it. Great place to spend a special occasion.
My sons birthday. He couldn’t make it the night before when we went to the Capital Grille, so we returned with him for his birthday and Samantha took great care of us. Food was excellent as usual.
Outstanding twin African lobster tails. My guest had the bone in filet and my wife had the porcini crusted ribeye. Wonderful service by Valerie and some outstanding wine made an excellent dinner.
We enjoyed our date night at the Capital Grille! We love this place, it is expensive, but so worthy. The service was outstanding, not only by Dustin but the entire staff, the food was delicious.

Another outstanding dinner at The Capital Grille. The staff is so courteous and accommodating. They work well together to make sure that the guests are well taken care of. Tonight, we had the pleasure to be served by William H. He was friendly and anticipated our needs. He consistently checked on the table and took care of all requests. He was friendly, yet professional. We had a very comfortable and pleasant dinning experience. At the table, we all order the filets. They were cooked to perfection and very tasty. I indulged in the espresso chocolate flourless cake. A little goes a long way. Its is so rich and decadent. I highly recommend The Capital Grille for any occasion.

It was mine and another friends birthday so we decided to attend restaurant week at capital grille and there were 8 in the group. We arrived and got seated pretty quickly in a private room, and that was a nice surprise.
Everything was great till we met our server, who we felt was pretty rude and dismissive. I was asking about different dressings you could get on the wedge salad, and his response was “well what do you want”. Once we stated we didn’t like bleu cheese, and asked if there was bleu cheese on the salad, he sarcastically told us “it is mixed into the dressing”. What we were wanting to know was if there were any bleu cheese crumbles on the salad.
At the end of our meal, my friend was trying to quietly pick up the check to pay for our meals, and the server loudly stated “who did you want to pay for?” And proceeds to head over to our table and point at us asking “are these the ones you wanted to pay for?”. I could tell my friend felt awkward, since he was trying to ask him on the side quietly.
Everyone else was polite and helpful. Overall, it would have been a great evening minus the service provided.
Experience was outstanding. Ate here during restaurant week. Food was excellent. Steaks were cooked to order and the best steaks we have had ever. Regular menu prices are a bit out of our price range for everyday dining but this will definitely be our new go-to for special occasion dinners.
Luckily we had the Board Room to seat our party of nine. Wonderful space, with round table. Our family could see each other, communicate well.
Food was delightful, delicious. Appreciated the choices.

The food was very good and the price was great. Although, I went during Cincinnati Restaurant Week. I'm not sure what the prices are normally. The steak was good, but the roasted chicken with risotto was better.
We came in for greater Cincinnati restaurant week as we try to do each time as this has been our best experience during restaurant week.
Darius gave superb service! He was friendly, kept checking on us. He made suggestions. He brought a sense of humor and seemed to love his job. The restaurant was clean, employees were friendly. An overall great night.
The Capital Grille is the place to go for perfect steaks and more. The service is smooth and staff makes sure you are satisfied with the food. The wine list is extensive. You will an impressive time here.

Participated in Cincinnati Restaurant Week. The restaurant was packed at 5 pm.
The restaurant has an amazing deal for restaurant week. We enjoyed every bite. I ordered up to have the lobster bisque...5.00 extra. It was worth every penny. The 14 oz strip steaks were delicious. I ordered the Crab Oscar extra and can not rave more about it. The dessert was to die for.
Brian, our waiter, was lovely. When we return, we will ask to be at one of his tables.
The steaks were okay. Service was excellent. Didn't seem like a great value. There are probably better places to spend your money.
Busy evening with Restaurant Week. Service somewhat slower. Attentive staff. Clifford did d a good job with several tables. Great ambiance. Reservations recommended and ask for a booth. Energetic Bar.

It was my birthday meal and we did restaurant week. The food was good and the service was good. It was very obvious they were too busy as many things were spilled and dropped around us. They put confetti on the table and had a little happy birthday card, which was nice. I still don’t know how you can charge 16$ for a martini, but I guess I paid it.
It was restaurant week, which I didn’t realize when I made reservations. My elderly parents were visiting town, they love a good steak and both are hearing challenged. I chose Capital Grille. The reservation staff was excellent in assisting with the best location for our party of six. We did order from the Restaurant Week menu. Our server was very good, although forgot the extra salad dressing my Mom requested. We were very happy until almost all of our steaks were delivered medium instead of medium rare.
As service was not moving quickly and we were aware that the restaurant was working at capacity, we did not send them back. However, when you go for a steak dinner, that is a disappointment, especially when entertaining.
When we were leaving and asked about dinner, I told the host exactly the above and the response was that it IS restaurant week.
That was an unfortunate response to leave with.
Restaurant week or not, my feedback and our almost $400. investment in entertaining could have been heard vs an excuse given.
If you can’t do the job during restaurant week, warn your patrons ahead of time, or don’t participate.

We went for restaurant week and to celebrate our Anniversary. Barry our waiter made it extra special with complimentary champagne and a nice rose for me. He made our entire experience wonderful with his recommendations and his attentiveness. We will be back and hope to have him again. We were seated upon arrival and everything was just perfect!!
We went for restaurant week and it was fantastic! The quick service, the wine expert who talked to us twice! The server was knowledgeable and really enjoyed his job. Took excellent care of us. We dine out often and I know we will return! Thank you for an exceptional experience.
