We were seated quickly when we arrived on time for our 7pm reservation. Our waiter seemed a bit impatient to take our dinner order as we enjoyed each other’s company and our pre-dinner cocktails. Our meals were delicious as always. Other than our service our visit went well and we’ll return again.

Where to begin.… William the server and general manager are amazing. I told the story of my family eating 25 lobster 🦞 tails I bought day after Thanksgiving leaving me 1 to eat. They gave me a South African Lobster Tail with my Ribeye and said we hope this makes things a little better. Unbelievable… The service was superb.

I typically like Capital Grill, this time the steak was not cooked medium rare, but rather more medium to medium well. That's never happened to me before. I chocked it up to being a Sunday. I couldn't return because we didn't have time to wait until another one was cooked, but as I said, typically they are great.

We always enjoy Capital Grille. They always go out of their way to make it a special evening. The food is always delicious, what ever you order and they will always make any alterations to make it just what you want. The manager, Peter, makes sure you have everything you need to celebrate any occasion!! Makes you feel so welcome and makes sure you have a perfect meal. We love Capital Grille!!

Had an amazing Thanksgiving/Anniversary feast last night. We sat in a booth which helped with the noise level which is something I always notice. It was great all around. The only thing I noticed was the lack of any music. Food was fabulous. All the thanksgiving tastes were met!

The filet was to die for. So tender and cooked perfectly. The beet salad was the best I’ve ever had, honestly. The spinach was a little on the bitter side but overall an exceptional dining experience.

Perhaps it was because there was a large party being serviced but our food and drinks really missed the mark. We notified our server and the manager who were both extremely kind. It was just surprising. Typically Capital Grille is always exceptional. That said this was my only bad experience there and I do plan to return on Thanksgiving Day.

The french onion soup was amazing! But the lunch salad special today and lobster bisque was a disappointment. The quality of the filet on our salad was poor and the lettuce was not the best part of the romaine and the lobster bisque didn’t have much flavor. We mentioned it to the waiter and told him we were dissatisfied with the lobster bisque soup and didn’t want to eat it and he did not take it off our bill. To pay $75 for lunch and not have a good meal was disappointing .

We were visiting Cincinnati and dined at the Capital Grill with our college age son and his sister and her four month old baby. I made the reservations at the last minute, but we were graciously accommodated and seated early in the perfect location in a quiet corner. The servers were very attentive, the timing of the food was perfect, and everything was delicious. We were very happy with our dining experience and highly recommend the Capital Grill!

OVER the wokeness. We stopped coming here a year ago because it has become the home of the worst dressed Cincinnatians. We decided to give the bar another try. Scantily clad women, often wearing no pants, dressed in costume has become the standard. We will take our business elsewhere. We have never witnessed this at a Ruby’s establishment. Tonight’s feature was a large woman in a leotard and fishnets. Absolutely NO PANTS! She also donned devil ears and a tail. Take your woke crap elsewhere. Even UDF has signs “ No shirt. No shoes. No service”. YOU, Capital Grill, allow and support this abhorrent behavior!

We were a party of (4) we were seated everyone was very friendly. Service was good they kept our glasses full and the food was on par! The Lobster Crab Cake was unbelievable. My sister & her husband loved the Calamari. One had blackened salmon the other had grilled salmon that looked all so good. My wife had blackened Sea-bass while I had the bone in Ribeye that was very good. The sautéed Spinach was awesome.

This was fantastic. The food was perfect. We tried lots of options and shared so we could taste numerous items. Seriously, everything was perfect from service, food to ambiance. Be sure to ask for Kari Campbell as your server. She made great recommendations and took exceptional care of us.

Perfect Birthday dinner for past 10 years! I take my best friend's daughter to her favorite restaurant each yr and we are never disappointed here. This year she brought her husband and 2 young daughters and our server Kelli couldn't have been nicer & more accommodating to them. Everyone's tender filets cooked exactly as ordered. I tried a strip steak this time which was excellent but do admit I like the filet more. Creamed corn is always a hit. Service was well paced and professional as usual. The BD dessert a nice touch. Even the expresso martini was great. Now she also celebrates her wedding anniversary at Capital Grille.

The overall experience was one of the best restaurant meals we have ever had. The sliced filet special Oscar style was outstanding. The sea bass was also amazing. William, our server, was the best. He was kind, funny, and his service level was second to none. This was our first experience with the Capital Grill and we will definitely be back.
