    Unfortunately didn’t see a server for 20 minutes after being seated and we had to go ask the hostess station for help. The host came and took our order and the food came out super quick. We were offered some free things, which we didn’t want. In the end our entire meal was taken care of. Overall, great food but our experience was not great and forced us to rush to eat our meal.

    We moved away from Columbus 5 years ago. But, we always make time for a meal at Cap City when we return. In all the years we have patronized Cap City, we never have been disappointed. Our favorites include chicken Milanese, beef stroganoff, meat loaf and, of course, THE chocolate cake.

    The restaurant is one of our favorites. The waitress unfortunately was a disaster! She was nice enough but we had to ask multiple times for many things. Multiple asks for water refill, more tarter sauce, our beer, to go box and dessert menu. Not one time did she return to our table with what we had asked for. Then our bill was a mess. This morning realized our account was charged an extra $169!! She needs to find a different career!!

    I have never had a bad experience! Consistently delicious and service is very good! I keep coming back to try something new even though I loved the last dish so much I want to order it again!

    Cap City Diner has an excellent selection of different types of food on their menu. Quality of the food is fantastic as well as portion size. The servers are top-notch. I would encourage people who have not tried this restaurant to do so..
