    I was a great idea to reserve the table beforehand, they had ready the table in a nice spot .the restaurant is clean and the food is very good price value .I definitely will come back.

    First time at what I've heard is a Columbus staple. However, our experience was terrible. We spent for a special occasion but our order came out wrong, our wait staff hardly checked in on us and all this we could have overlooked if the food tasted good. The Vlack and Blue Salmon salad was watery, void of flavor on the salmon or in the dressing. We ordered the Banana Milkshake but it came without caramel and the chalky banana flavor was hard to overcome. Overall super disappointed. Made reservations at another place for today to make up for the poor dinner.

    Took the waitress time to initially come to table. Service was slow French fries lukewarm, requested new fries. Still not good California club was a good sandwich. Onion straws on meatloaf were not crispy. Bill paid and then had us owing additional funds. Will not return to that particular Cap City.

    We had the best experience at Cap City in Gahanna! Absolutely perfect service at bar and especially at our table. Our server was Abby and she was wonderful! The pecan crusted pork chops awesome!! Well definitely be returning soon!

    One of us had the balsamic chicken and loved it. The other had the walleye, which was the main reason for coming to Cap City. The walleye was also wonderful. We do not like it when the wait person uses the first person plural all the time: "what do we want tonight?" "Do we enjoy our meal?" We find that demeaning. I dislike water, but there was no drink on the menu that was non-alcoholic, sugar-free, and caffeine-free. Examples of what could be offered--and increase the bill for the restaurant > sugar free lemonade, root beer, 7Up.

    I ordered the pot roast special. A lot of mashed potatoes but almost no vegetables. 5 carrots slices ,3 halves of Brussels sprouts and 1/2 of one green bean. LOTS of mashed potatoes. What there was tasted great.

    Our waiter was delightful!! He was so friendly and accommodating. He made the experience a 5 star!!! Thank you again we had a wonderful time

    Cap City is our “go to” for a great dinner, the best service, and friendly staff. We love it…and can’t seem to get enough. If you have a gluten allergy, they take very good care of you and really pay attention to safety. They always have a delicious gluten free dessert option too!
