    The restaurant is one of our favorites. The waitress unfortunately was a disaster! She was nice enough but we had to ask multiple times for many things. Multiple asks for water refill, more tarter sauce, our beer, to go box and dessert menu. Not one time did she return to our table with what we had asked for. Then our bill was a mess. This morning realized our account was charged an extra $169!! She needs to find a different career!!

    I have never had a bad experience! Consistently delicious and service is very good! I keep coming back to try something new even though I loved the last dish so much I want to order it again!

    Cap City Diner has an excellent selection of different types of food on their menu. Quality of the food is fantastic as well as portion size. The servers are top-notch. I would encourage people who have not tried this restaurant to do so..

    I usually love the blue plate liver and onions but this time the gravy seemed sweet and more like short ribs. It won’t keep me away.

    Absolutely the best! From being greeted when we walked in to having an amazing server and delicious food. Looking forward to coming back on a Tuesday for the pot pie!!!
