Canyon Road Ratings and Reviews
We often dine at Canyon Road. The service is typically good and the food consistently good and plentiful, special requests are never a problem. Love their guacamole and their chips are warm and delish! Refills on the chips is never a problem.
My one complaint from this past dining; I brought a group of six in and everyone enjoyed but you would think that the one cup of hot water w/lemon wouldn't be a charge ($3.25) when spending close to $300. It's just the principle so I will bring it up the next time we are there...
My boyfriend and I love coming here. It’s the only Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood that offers good food with a classy setting. The portions are pretty generous so I end up taking some of my food home but I prefer it that way. Service is impeccable. The waiters/waitresses are super friendly and efficient and the manager is nothing short of great. He is always there and very involved with the customers. We will be back very soon !!!!
This place has the best margaritas I've ever tried!! I went for my sister's birthday and they were just wonderful. They offer complimentary chips and salsa before your entrees, even at the bar. Whenever I dine here, I make sure to order the spicy peanut shrimp for appetizers, it is such a unique dish. For the main course, I ordered the chicken adobo. It is a big dish so I ended up taking some of it home but, no complaints! I just saved myself from buying lunch for the next day. For dessert, they presented us with their chocolate soufflé but the staff was kind enough to sing happy birthday as well as put a candle on the plate. I had a wonderful time once again. I will definitely be back.
Should have known when we first got there when we stood at the host stand for 5 minutes with no one acknowledging us.
Then our friendly but overwhelmed waitress took 10 minutes to take our order.
Then we waited. And waited. And waited for our food. With no one checking on us. Only when I asked her to check on our food did we even get an apology.
Nearly one hour after our arrival we finally were served our mediocre food.
In the meantime, a family was seated right next to us, despite an entire open area of the restaurant.
Our first and last time going here.
Perfect for family/friends dining... there were 6 of us and something for everyone; the vegetarian, the GF eater and those who have no restrictions! Service very good and unrushed.
AWESOME chips (and they'll bring another basket no problem)... Love the make at table guac and a pretty decent sangria too :)
We dine here at least 2x/mo.
