My wife ordered a salad and steak dinner. Her steak was filled with gristle.
Great dinner and service. Beautiful view over the falls. Nice quiet booths and not overcrowded.
We went in after the Casino took a guest for her first time. Both of us ordered the Steak Truffle Bites. My dinner was delicious but my goodness she could even cut through her Steak Tips .I watcher her struggle cutting them. So I mentiined to watiress and she was gracious enough to give her some meat to tKe home . I was disappointed as this was our guests first time there and we wanted it to be perfect. Also may I make mention...the music in the restaurant was not Opleasant and it was loud and the music was some kind of rock. I would say looking around at the age of the guests mostly 55+ I dont think it was appropriate. Could you PLEASE mention to the restaurant yhat with such a lovely view of Niagara Falls and a lovely setting to change there choice of music to something a little more soft for the paying guests especially with an empty 5:00 dinner crowd. Thanks. Not much ever gets done when comments are made everything always seems to stay the same so not really sure why we do these reviews. Oh well .
We absolutely loved the restaurant. Both the food and service was too notch. I would highly recommend if you are in the area to try this place.
Beautiful view of the falls. Great beverage options and customer service! Food was delicious and even got a mini crème brûlée because we went for my birthday!
The service was great and the food came out relatively fast considering it was Valentine's Day and the restaurant was packed. Our entrees were perfect but the dessert was just meh.
We dined at Canyon Creek prior to going to a show at Fallsview. Our waitress
Sabrina was very friendly and efficient. We ordered off of the prix fixe menu and enjoyed the meal very much.
I normally love the prime rib there but this time my medium rare beef was tough and too chewy. My friend’s salmon was fabulous. I will order that next time.
Unfortunately we had a group behind us that was quite obnoxious, other tables kept rolling their eyes and passing glances. Our waitress was great extremely friendly and gave great advice on the menu........ however we stood at the entrance for almost 10 minutes awaiting the hostess who was condescending, rude and abrupt. Dinner was good steak was perfectly cooked..... however the desert (Brownie) was extremely dry we didn’t eat it. No rush to return
Nice view of the falls while having dinner.
Would try again
Loved the portions. Staff was amazing!
Service as always was excellent. Staff is very friendly. Only reason I gave a 4 star was I never got my appetizer. But the Manager and Server both addressed it. Would recommend and will definitely go back.
Very nice place. Great staff. Food was good but not great and very over priced. The keg up the road is much better and better value all around.
Had a Ribeye steak that I would not ordinarily order when dining out. Was pleasantly surprised . Ordered medium and it came slightly more but was quite good. Actual steak houses have done worse.
Friend had the shrimp & ravioli entree and really enjoyed it.
Hostess was friendly and efficient
Waitress Jackie was attentive but not overly so. Good personality with a sense of humour.
All made for a good meal experience
We had a wonderful dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Our server Dawn was lovely. She was attentive, personable, made sure we were happy with our food. She was always available.
We noticed such a tremendous improvement with the staff and food quality since our last visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we are in Niagara!
Thank you Dawn for such a great dining experience!
Overall impression, based on this particular visit; mediocre.
SIR Corp needs to prop up this Venue or let it go.
It was just too easy to get a reservation, on a busy Friday night; when adjacent Venues had standby lists.
Great welcome at the FOH & we were seated promptly.
Then we started to overhear complaints from other Patrons, about issues with food orders & billing errors.
Three other couples simply walked out, vowing to never return again.
Since we were here for the weekend, decided to stick it out & see if our experience would be different.
Our Server (Jack S) was pleasant enough but was overwhelmed by all of the negativity.
Our meals finally arrived & were stone cold. Really no excuse, as the restaurant was empty at this point. We didn't complain.
Then, to add insult to an already bad situation; when we asked for the Bill, we were told that the Debit and Credit systems were suddenly down & that Cash would be preferred.
Really? On a $ 187.00 Tab?
The next two nights, we opted for Ponte Vecchio & The Keg @ Embassy Suites & were very pleased with both of these Venues.
Delicious food. A little lot expensive than usual but you get a great view and better service than anywhere else
Very nice view of Niagara Falls, maybe just grab a drink here.
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful and the waitress Dawn treats us very special everytime. We enjoy eating there about 6or 7 times a year especially for special occasions.
Great table, service and the food was nice. We enjoyed the evening.
Great dinner before all the Christmas festivities, our waitress Melissa was amazing one the best. An the manager I believe her name was Jackie was nice enough to stop by our table and make sure everything was great. Food was amazing, always recommend when you visit Niagara Falls.
Service was great. Food was okay. Reasonable prices.
Excellent food and service. Everything was great.
The quality of the food was much better than our last visit. However, we were celebrating my birthday and we had to leave sooner than we wanted to due to the HORRIBLE music choice. We asked the waitress and she could not help us as it was pre determined set.
I would not come back just for this amazing awful music.
Girls night out
If you go ask for a falls view. The restaurant is quite large so locations with the view are limited, but very special if you are fortunate enough to get a table with a view
Great as always.
First year in about 5 that I wasn't offered a free dessert for my birthday.
We always look forward to a dinner at Canyon Creek. Unfortunately this time it didn’t maintain its level of quality. The bread was served just slightly warm. The mains were served cold. The baked potatoes couldn’t melt butter if they tried. We did complain and our server was quick to replace our cold items. So while the restaurant reacted correctly it did disrupt our dinner. I hope that Canyon Creek can remedy these items as it might be the last Canyon Creek to survive. Or maybe this is the reason the other locations are closing......
It was a great dinner and atmosphere was good as well, stayed away from the windows as waitress said it could be colder, it was good advice. The waitresses was very friendly and gave some good advice.
My husband and I were dining at Canyon Creek during a stay in Niagara Falls. This restaurant is one of our favourites. The food is always well prepared and the wait staff are very pleasant and very efficient. My husband had the roast beef dip with mashed potatoes. The roast beef on a ciabatta bun was prepared as requested. My salmon was also well prepared and arrived with mixed vegetables: fingerling potatoes, carrots, and peas. For dessert my husband chose the double chocolate brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The portion was large but he ate it all - declaring it delicious. I had the creme brûlée for dessert. It had small chunks of chocolate in it. It too was delicious. The meal was unhurried and the wait staff were attentive. I had a glass of local wine: Megalomaniac, Riesling. It was excellent. We ended the evening with coffee. A most delightful evening out.
Great food and attentive service. Really nothing to complain about. Highly recommend the prime rib and the peppercorn New York.
Double date night with our Chicago family before the concert featuring Brandi Carlile at the Avalon Theater. We were able to get a great reservation time using Open Table. After checking in at the front desk, we were given the nod to spend some time at the Bar catching up with one another before being escorted to our fabulous table. Dawn was an amazing gift, giving plenty of information enabling us to make informed decisions from which wine, to how we’d like our steak. Lol. Great evening all around started here. Our friends first time at The Falls was made even more special by the view we were afforded at dinner time. We make so many good memories at Canyon Creek-Niagara Falls. We have always relied on you for a cozy, romantic night every New Years Eve for the last 10+ years. Never disappointed.
Amazing , my husband and I went for our date night and honestly we have no complaints, even though our food took a little longer than expected. But the service was great. Beautiful view.
Oh , I can’t forget, the brownie was absolutely amazing. Best brownie I ever had, and I order the brownie everywhere I go.
Good prix fixe menu. The prime rib (10 oz) was great as was the 7oz sirloin. Recommended.
Tasty appetizers, I recommend the coconut shrimp. Servers are very pleasant and remember past customers. A table viewing the falls is extra nice. Fixed price menu gives you the best value for an app, entree and dessert. Wine menu is good and has nice local representation.
We picked the restaurant because they claimed to have great views of the falls. This was not the case- trees blocked most views- which the hosts explained as they walked us and several others to reserved tables. The appetizers were good but I found my steak to be disappointing. The service is great- which helped - but still an overall disappointing experience.
We find we enjoy the food a lot. We do date night once a month and enjoy going there. The service is great, never a problem there very polite.
Great Steak and Service!
