Restaurant was late to open; We had asked to be seated away from other guests but then had guests placed right behind us, and were immediately asked if we wanted to be moved. This made no sense to us, as it was the manager who seated us, the manager that seated the other guests, and then the manager who moved us. It appears that bread service is no longer a thing at this restaurant, or at least it wasn’t for us. The top sirloin I ordered was quick to come out, but the food lacked seasoning. It seems that the quality of this restaurant disappeared with all of the restaurants in this chain during COVID, which is a shame, because this used to be my go-to Steakhouse. I had visited all of the locations in the past, starting with Square One, then Scarborough Town Centre, Front St, and Fallsview. I was disappointed to see the other locations close, but doubt I will be saddened when this last locations close. This restaurant no longer reflects the quality that the brand had been in the past.
Canyon Creek never fails to have the best steak! My steak is always cooked perfectly to my liking ! Everything and everyone was terrific! Thank you !!!
Service was great. Ordered a medium rare steak which came out perfect but the medium steak that was ordered came out closer to well done. Other than that the food was delicious.
Server was not very present at our table. Took 20 minutes to come and introduce herself and take our drink orders. Continued to take 10-15 minutes to return to our table with drinks (a bottle of wine and a cranberry juice) and took another 10 minutes to come back and take our appetizer order. The app order took 45 minutes to come out and was mediocre at best. Also slightly cold. She then came back 10 minutes later to quality check.. which by that time the food was finished and we were waiting to give our entree orders. Our entrees then took almost an hour to reach our table and the steaks were not done as requested. My sister couldn’t even eat her food and ended up leaving still hungry after over two hours of horrible service. As a server, I expect restaurants of the canyon creek stature to have better service protocol and for servers to be held accountable for keeping it up. And canyon creek - airport has missed the mark. As a former SirCorp employee , I commend the manager for his kindness and his willingness to go above and beyond to assure satisfaction after the experience.
We had special needs for our party and all staff were on board and most helpful. Thank you All including the chefs !
Hostest and server were great the food was HORRIBLE i have never been to a place where i hated every single thing.. was not worth the price at all.. I didn’t eat anything and my boyfriend barely ate anything.
The server was amazing, can’t say enough about him, food was good. Only issue I had was when we asked if it would be possible to have a table where I could put my leg up on a chair as I had just had knee surgery she snapped at us and said no, your table is already picked and that’s the only one your getting. She had no interest in trying to help accommodate our request and the restaurant was not full at all even under Covid19 restrictions. She then asked for our names and then decided she was only going to take one because in her words “just wanted us to go”. Their where only 4 of us, not a large group. Not a great impression at all of the restaurant.
Had a great time good was excellent. It’s just a shame the square one location closed and Sherway. Live closer to those locations. Would have love go more often

Staff did the best possible job given the times dealing with Covid. Food was exceptional as always. Promptly received our food and was very happy with the whole experience.
They are currently using a shorten menu, which is unfortunate but the reason for said Menu is more than obvious.

The filet was not on the menu so that was disappointing. Sort of understand why that was because of Covid 19.
It was very quiet, but I excepted that. The service was great though and I will be back.
Prime rib was delicious and cooked to my satisfaction. The waitress brought over another diet coke before I asked. The restaurant was quiet and not busy. A really enjoyable birthday!

The restaurant is right under the flight path. Planes flies by every 20 minutes or so. I was expecting this. It’s an interesting distraction. We had a table at a outdoor table in a fenced off parking lot. Tables are well distanced apart. Not very busy. Excellent food and service.
Slow service, one waiter
Friendly service right at the front door, got sat down right away, and our waiter Rich was extraordinary. If this comment is read at a staff meeting, I swear he needs to be recognized. His level he operates at , and the natural customer service abilities he possesses are second to none, he should be in the business of training others to be like him. Overall, wonderful experience!! Oh yeah the food was also great , I just enjoyed the service.
My fiance and I ordered steak medium well and it came well done and it was hard to cut. It was my fiance birthday and I felt so bad..other than that all the other food was ok not the tastiest.but ok.

Ok. Very nice ambience and the food was good.
The meals were excellent - all of us had something different and everyone raves about how good their meal was. The calamari starter was a great way to start the meal. However the service was really quite lacking - after the food arrived we never saw a waiter, were never offered more drinks even though glasses were empty half way through the meal and really just left to our own devices. The restaurant was totally full so that’s in their defense but to never see a waiter again is inexcusable. If the food had not been so good, we would never return to this restaurant but the food was great and so may return again. Time will tell.
Food was good. The value was a little on the lower side than I would’ve preferred but still a solid 4/5. Service was average. The server did what he needed to do, nothing extra or special.

We had a fantastic new year's eve at Canyon Creek. The food and service were great. I really enjoyed the Cesar salad, mushroom steak and brownie.
