Sunday brunch at the Canyon Cafe is always a good time. It is hard to beat the atmosphere and the food selection is pretty good. It is a great place to take out of town visitors and a great place to enjoy brunch with friends.
It was a great way to celebrate our daughters 55th birthday with friends.
This reservation was canceled. So I can not review.
The food selection is great, staff is friendly, it's gorgeous inside and outside, nice walk to a 80-ft waterfall. Definitely will be back.
We have been to the brunch 4 times in the past and the food didn’t seem to be as good. Bloody Mary’s are not included anymore. They did not have the selection as we had previously. Beautiful setting!!
Best brunch in town! Great food, drink, service and music.
We came for my boyfriend’s birthday. We have been here a few times before. It was great, as always. Just a little saddened when we found out the chocolate fountain broke! :( Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you!
good breakfast the poached eggs were perfectly cooked.
Excellent experience, our server was very nice and the food was fantastic
We come to the Sunday Brunch at Ventana Canyon whenever we are in Tucson, which is several times a year. It never disappoints. It is commendable that the resort has such a low turnover in staff, so that one sees the same friendly faces there year after year.
Food was good but my entrée salad was very small. The other dishes; fish tacos, Cobb salad and sashimi tuna were much more generous portions.
New Years ! Very nice and will attend in the future.
Great service and food
Friendly, attentive service...no problem there.
Mediocre food at expensive prices for Tucson. It was New Year’s Eve, so perhaps the kitchen was cutting corners for the a la carte menu. We considered ordering the buffet, but the choices were uninspired. Salmon main dish was tasty and cooked well, though shishito pepper and Brussels sprouts appetizers were bland and poorly cooked/prepared.
Ambience was dismal - lighting way too bright, no interesting art or decoration, and ugly, stained acoustic tiles on ceiling. Loews needs to invest in a way-overdue renovation of this space.
We were really excited about the Buffet, unfortunately we were really disappointed with the whole experience. Food was ok, nothing really special, had to fight the carving station chef to give me an actual slice of prime rib instead of a shaving. The seafood was good, but the breakfast Buffet area left a lot to be desirable.
Dessert was very good specially loved the tres leches cake in a glass and churros, the service was ok but I must say I made a reservation over a month ago and all it got me was a table next to a pillar with no view of the mountains and the servers barely came by.
Also the hotel was housing a Football team and upon entering the buffet area we observed several players come off the street, bypass the hostess, and grab cookies and bite size cakes off the dessert and seafood area with their bare hands and walk back out which grossed my husband out as it appear they weren’t there to do the buffet and were just grabbing and going with several restaurant personnel watching and saying nothing. Overall not sure it was worth the $45 price per plate. Probably won’t do the Buffet and I will not recommend to anyone.
Christmas brunch was our occasion. Lots of buffet options and very busy. Service was attentive and friendly.
Not the same as before. No turkey ayt Xmas. Fewer servers. Bacon not refilled. Salad selection weird. Probably won’t do again.
We had an absolutely great time like always!!! Great food, patient an useful stuff !!! We love being there!!!
Go here every thanksgiving--it rained this year so was moved into a banquet hall but excellent service, prime rib, turkey, yams, green brean casserole, pies all excellent. Had a harp player which was a nice touch since the event was moved inside. Never felt rushed and as usual had a wonderful time!!!
The service & food was fabulous! This is the best brunch I’ve been to in Tucson. One of the people with me said it’s the best brunch he’s ever been to!
The Sunday brunch used to be a lot better, what happened?
Delicious food, amazing service and an exceptional venue......This is for friends & family!!
Great Sunday Brunch. Nice duo playing the blues. Great food. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this brunch.
Truly the best brunch buffet in the area ! BBQ ; Bottomless Mimosas; Craft Beer.. $10 Bloody Mary Bar .. and live Blues! Coupled with sushi ; oysters ; chilled prawns ; mussels .. and all kinds of amazing brunch - ness to feast on! The view at Loews is superb!
Sunday Champagne Brunch at The Canyon Cafe is our favorite place to go. The selections are enormous and delicious; huge shrimp, oysters, roast beef, ribs, salmon, grilled fruits and vegetables. Plus, all you can eat desserts and the best cup of coffee anywhere - including Starbucks.
Very nice venue for lunch. Ambiance is very nice. This was a birthday lunch for a friend . I was a little surprised that a complimentary dessert was not offered but our waitress did take it upon herself to get something for the occasion in the form of a delicious cookie.
I have reviewed this restaurant many times over the years. It just gets better every time we go. The food is good and consistently refreshed & refilled during the day. Service is with out a doubt perfect. Danielle is the server we always request, she is great.
We celebrate our anniversary every year here. They're Sunday brunch is the bee's knees. Great value for the price. I highly recommend getting a DD. The bottomless mimosas are irresistible.
What a great setting and the food & service was outstanding!
The table service has improved greatly over the last time we visited, also the live music has been moved a little more towards the pool, making it much more enjoyable and not to loud has it was in the past. The Gravy was wonderful, would be nice to have biscuts to go with it.
The salmon was the best I had in a long time! We enjoyed the walk to the waterfall and taking photos of the grounds. It was a very relaxing lunch.
Bbq brunch was amazing!
I think it would be beneficial to separate the beer from the Bloody Mary bar, folks were getting aggravated at having to wait for all the bloody Mary customers in line just to get a beer. Prime rib, seafood, real bagels! All terrific! Maybe more desserts that aren’t so sickly sweet in the future?
Great place for Sunday Brunch. They have a few walkable trails up behind the resort and beautiful koi fish, turtles and sometimes you can see some gorgeous water birds. On this visit we were able to watch a very playful roadrunner dashing around the grounds.
As always, we had a great time at Sunday Brunch at the Canyon Cafe. Warren, one of our servers, was a joy. He was quick, observant and funny. We'll be back, of course.
The food choices at the buffet were excellent and lots of them. Had a wonderful experience it is an event worth trying.
The Canyon Cafe is in an outstanding setting at a deluxe resort environment. The food presentation and variety is spectacular. The service is personal as well as efficient. We've enjoy this dining experience several times and look forward to another enjoyable experience soon.
It’s always lovely, yummy, and friendly. Love their brunch the most out of all in Tucson!
