Dinner: Tuesday - Thursday, Sunday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 5:00 - 11:00pm.
We returned to Cantinetta after about 4 years and loved it just as much this time as we did the first time. The food was amazing--it was hard to decide on just one dish! It was busy and bustling, but still cozy and lovely. Will definitely return. :)
We makenit a point to get here 2-3 times per year. It’s our favorite anniversary/bday celebration spot.
The food is always remarkable. And the service is great.
Cantinetta is one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. It has a beautiful, cozy and intimate interior that’s perfect for a date or dinner with close friends. They have the most amazing handmade pasta. Everything is well executed. The wine list is also excellent with some great value wines. Their cocktails are excellent too and the bar staff is so on top of their game that they can make any cocktail you want. Finally, the staff are always kind, welcoming and knowledgeable.
This is a wonderful restaurant with authentic Piedmont, Italian cuisine and friendly ambiance.
Thank you for accommodating 4 people instead of 2.
Excellent Italian Food. Fabulous for a very special occassion.
Beautiful atmosphere and very chic and classy.
Made me miss Italy very much!
Service was good and on point. Our server was polite and funny. None of the food was bad, but only a couple dishes were excellent. The ones that were just okay were really just under seasoned. A little salt made them good.
Hey hey great!!!
Simple menu, best handmade pasta outside of Italy, went there with my family, great local neighborhood gem with amazing food, service a bit slow but they are very busy so understandable, very very friendly and homely- a piece of Italy outside of Italy. Grazie!
Exceptional service - charming and funny. Excellent knowledge of the menu. Superb flavors - pastas are a highlight, but really everything is great.
I love this place and the service is always top notch. We ate there during the heatwave and it was pretty toasty indoors, but that didn't ruin our evening. Farmers market menu was great
Good atmosphere, understated.
Friendly service with good explanation of food.
Food was good, though a little too complicated (one too many seasonings)
Sea bass special was a highlight
I was asked at the initial reservation booking on Open Table what the occasion was and I indicated it was a birthday, and being asked once again now during this survey what the occasion was but on the date that we dined there was no mention before, during or after our meal that we were there for a special occasion. Not really sure what the inquiry is about if there's no acknowledgment or offering to provide something ”special” for a special occasion.
Amy, however, was a delight to dine with and planned out the service of our chosen dishes perfectly. She did make the evening ”special” with her warm personality and attention to detail. Thank you kindly, Amy!
Very enjoyable meal. Loved the options and presentation
Such amazing food! Fresh pasta, well thought-out dishes, absolutely delicious. Adorable spot. Sat at a lovely outdoor table - so cozy. Highly recommend!!
Cantinetta's is consistently outstanding! The food is exquisite. The staff are skillful, knowledgeable and kind. We have been to Cantinetta's often and each time we are done with a meal, we look forward to our next opportunity to return.
Slow service, average food at poor value. I had tortellini (8 of them!)...needed McDonald’s on way home. My pick for my birthday. My wife enjoyed her sea bass.
Fantastic as always. Great food, not pretentious. Brought friends that had never been and they loved it.
This was our first time to Cantinetta and we were not disappointed. The service was some of the best I have ever had in Seattle and the food was excellent. Great small space with a nice outdoor patio. They even brought out a special dessert for my wife's Birthday free of charge. We will be back!
One of our favorite places in Seattle. Consistently great seasonal food and great wine list.
Service was phenomenal and the food was actual perfection. Perfectly ripe melon and tender prosciutto, air-light fritti, excellent risotto and meaty sea bass. I think our servers name was Hannah. Will be going back soon!
Fun night with a great friend celebrating bdays and friendship.
Lovely place and the food was exceptional. My only complaint is we sat outside and were subject to the hacking cough and pooping dog of one of the locals who lived nearby. It was pretty unpleasant so I'd eat inside next time. Again - food was outstanding and service was very good too.
Food was fantastic, service great and a nice space though I'm glad we got the last table that was not right near the windows -- I saw people were too hot with evening sun blazing in. My one complaint -- and it's major -- is the noise level. It was far beyond "energetic" -- why does your scale not go up to "painful and aversive?" For this reason, sadly, I would not recommend Cantinetta to a friend much as I wish I could.
Decent food. Service was slow and spotty. Noticed server picked up something off floor and proceeded to contact customers plate with item! Sea bass over cooked. Over priced . Pink door is better
A really fine Tuscany food restaurant in Seattle. Outstanding pasta and risotto. And Luciano - the host - as well as the staff are exceptionally friendly. You go once and you'll come back for ever.
Lovely neighborhood restaurant with unique and special ambiance paired with a very thoughtful menu - nice balanced selection, not too much/not too little. Delicious food all around. We had a table of 6 split vegetarian and non-vegetarian and menu selection was perfect for all. The service was spot on - very attentive, balanced with not being intrusive.
Our first time in this location and we enjoyed it very much, Friendly staff, small but smart menu, good wine options, well prepared meals with fine service. Felt like home with neighbors we did not know. Good spot to meet friends for pleasant experience.
The food is delectable. My flank steak was cooked perfect medium-rare. The food we got in the winter time was even more amazing, and that is saying a lot. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this over Pomodoro and other Italian restaurants I have tried in Seattle.
We arrived wet and frustrated by traffic and were welcomed with such warmth that our dark mood was instantly improved. To a person, the service was exceptional. An imaginative cocktail list, diverse appetizers and sublime pastas made for a great evening. I cannot wait to return
I love the Cantinetta in Bellevue and the food is always consistently good. We were in Fremont for a celebration and the experience was horrible. Our table wasn’t ready, and then the food took forever. Over an hour later we got our food and it was cold. The server was nice enough, but when you wait that long and pay that much for a basic pasta dish I expect more.
We met a client here and stayed 3 hours! Our server was terrific and gave us just the right space while meeting our needs. I love this place and will come back again and again.
Two people ordered pasta but a tad too al debate for them. I had the flank steak with spring peas with balsamic sauce. Great job! Sat outside in the patio.
Our first visit to Cantinetta Wallingford. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary. Everything was fabulous. The food was incredible. We ordered several things and shared. Asparagus soup, salmon crudo, rainbow carrots, flank steak, fresh made, in house pasta and wonderful halibut. For dessert we shared a lemon ricotta cake with berries and strawberry-rubarb bread pudding with raspberry ice cream. Wonderful. Our waiter was great, funny guy but very knowledgeable. The two women working with him were equally skillful and made our evening delightful. We will be back! Betsy N.
Very good restaurant. The food was exceptional (the best part of the whole experience). A moderately expensive wine list. Small room, so can get loud. May try the patio next time. Good service. Can't wait to go back.
Lovely and comfortable, with great unobtrusive service. Each plate was very nicely presented and delicious. While this was our first visit we felt more like returning guests.
The starters were great--interesting combinations and well prepared. We all ordered pasta/gnocchi for our mains and two of the four dishes were underwhelming and bland. The Pappardelle Bolognese was tasty but some of the pasta was stuck in clumps--shouldn't happen in a restaurant that specializes in pasta! We found the service to be somewhat on the slow side, although the restaurant was not full. Desserts were very good, so the meal ended on a positive note. I'd go back for starters and dessert.
Great neighborhood restaurant--amazing food and wine (the halibut was superb), kid-friendly, and generally a wonderful place!
Amazing hand-made pastas and impeccable service. Try the Lopez Island Clams for starters!
Great food & friendly, excellent service
Convenient neighborhood spot
Shhh, don’t tell anyone and it this amazing restaurant... I never leave reviews but I had to for Caninetta, everything was perfect and, more importantly, the food was spot on delicious! So happy to have found my new standby for Seattle.
